The trip was flawless
The trip was flawless, excellent hotels and perfect baggage transfers along the way. Only issue was that wife had severe dehydration and heat exhaustion, so will have to return for her to finish a bit of the Camino. Not a bad excuse to book a whole other trip, and look forward to using Camino Ways again in the future

Overall great. A couple of accommodations along the way with grumpy and unpleasant hosts - but otherwise amazing to have everything booked in one place.

The entire trip on the Camino Way went…
The entire trip on the Camino Way went very well and smoothly.
The rooms n food, where included, were very all good. The additional nights stays were also well arranged by Camino Ways.
There was only one hiccup, towards the end of the journey, that we realized we were required to walk to a pick up point rather than to the hotel, which was quite a distance away, and we got lost. Fortunately a quick call to the hotel and our pick up was arranged from where we were. Very grateful for the hotel in accommodating us.

A great experience on the Portuguese Way
CaminoWays was easy to work with in arranging our Camino adventure. We were extremely pleased with all but one of the hotels they selected. We were disappointed when our group tour was canceled because of a lack of participants, but in the end we didn't need the tour guide. With the information and accommodations CaminoWays provided, we did great on our own.

There was always a welcoming experience at the end of a long day with comfortable accommodations and usually good food for breakfast and most times dinner . I’ve used this company twice now and it’s went smoothly.

This our second Camino trek with Camino…
This our second Camino trek with Camino Ways, this time the Camino Norte which was more challenging than the Camino Portugues. We were unable to secure a hotel at one of the legs so Camino Ways arranged for a transfer which went smoothly. However, when I tried to schedule a pre-trip phone call to discuss, that request was denied. They said those calls are only available pre-booking. Some hotels were better than others. One leg was 23 miles only because once we hiked the 20 miles to Laredo, it was still 3 miles to the hotel! It would have been better if the length of the hikes from town to town were more evenly distributed for length. A closer hotel in Laredo would have been much appreciated and we could have easily walked more the following day. They had us scheduled to stop in Noja, but we pushed on to San Miguel (this was the day of the transfer so the stop was flexible). Overall a beautiful road through mountains and along the coast!

We're glad the transfer on the Laredo leg was sorted smoothly, but we're sorry about the pre-trip call. Once you've booked, our team is there for you by phone and email throughout, so that request shouldn't have been turned away — we're looking into it.
Your point about stage lengths is well made. Accommodation on the Norte is thinner on the ground than on the Portugués, which sometimes means a hotel sits beyond the town itself, and 3 extra miles at the end of 20 is no small thing. We'll flag the Laredo stage to our product team.
Delighted the route itself lived up to it. Buen Camino and we hope to plan a third with you!
Wonderful Camino experience
We had a wonderful time on our Camino adventure. We started in Vigo stopping in five different cities/villages.
Loved all the hotels with the exception of the one in Arcade. It was ok. The others were ‘superior’, which is what we paid for. The last hotel in Santiago was amazing with a fantastic location. Our luggage was always picked up and dropped off on time.

On some stages availability is limited and the nearest options sit a little off the trail, but that's not always obvious in advance and we understand the frustration after a long day's walking.

Accomodations
The accommodations booked were all very good. No issues at all with check in or delivery of luggage. So nice to have an air conditioned room and a lovely bed at the end of a long day of walking.

The hotel in Santiago for 2 nights was terrible. It didn’t even have chair and was next to a very busy and noisy street. Everting else was great.

Great Staff
The staff is always very helpful and responsive. We traveled with a group of 8 people and they handled are numerous requests for change very smoothly. The accomodations we had were great! We loved every hotel!
