Fast assembly, fast shipping, great bike protection

Great communication from the company on my new Santa Cruz downhill bike. Assembly was fast and so was shipping. I also appreciate the way the bike was packaged and shipped. It was extremely secure with no scratches or damage even to the exterior of the box. The way the bike was wrapped and surrounded in bubble wrap was an improvement over other companies because it was very easy to unwrap the bike and remove from the box. I recommend your company for all mountain bike products, especially bike builds. Thank you.

super helpful support

Everyone I've interacted with at CBO has been super helpful. My last visit was to get help getting a replacement crankset that I broke (from a bike I didn't even purchase from CBO). They managed the replacement of the crankset with FSA for no charge (under warranty) and had the new one to me in a week. They're a great example of why we need to continue supporting our local bike shops!

Good Customer Service

Excellent communication regarding a very minor issue I had. Recieved prompt response via email, and my project turned out just fine without having to return or order additional parts. Will buy again.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BUSINESS!

Do not buy from this business! They will try to steal from you.

Ordered a simple part. They shipped me something different. Not a big deal! A qwick email to them asking to return it, i was directed towards there website to submit a ticket, fine. Did that, they said i can return it, but would need to pay the shipping to return the incorrect item, which clearly wasnt what i ordered.
This continued for multiple emails. The last being from a Jeff, s. Told me that i was indeed sent, what i ordered, even after sending him pictures of what i ordered (from there website) and also a picture of what i was sent.
Clearly a misunderstanding that should have been handled professionally. Unfortunately it was not. And i was told i would need to purchase the shipping, to send back the item i did not order.
I was instead, offered a "discounted shipping label" since i was a first time customer.
As a business person myself, this is unacceptable.
There website seemed professional and i didnt think twice about ordering the part i was looking for. I was wrong.
After the emails back and forth without a fair resolution, i went online and began searching there reviews.
I wasnt at all surprised to see many other similar experiences with this business. Transactions with other unsatisfied customers whom only received criticizing responses indicating the customers were wrong, and that cambria bike, did all they could.

I hope my review will save some customers the headach of being taken advantage of by this business.

Unfortunately thats not the response that was given when the same review was listed with google.

Here is that response: "Cambria Bicycle Outfitter (Owner' a day ago
We are a very legitimate retailer who has been in business for 40 vears. This customer bought an item which we have sold to customers over 150 times with zero previous disputes over the accuracy of our listing or their satisfaction with the item. We took this customer's initial complaint very seriously and took new photos and measurements to ensure that the listing was correct and the customer had received the item he was sold The customer has been fully refunded and can keep the item"

And, the customer, was actually not, refunded. He went to his financial institution and filed a complaint, which resulted in a refund.

Again, i hope this helps some future consumer's not get taken advantage of by this business.

Arrived when they said it would

Arrived when they said it would, box got a little beat up but in the middle of moving so didn’t get any time to open up to take a look on inside… but over all excellent experience!

Customer service :(

The Helmet we ordered was too big(that’s a me issue). I requested a return which went smoothly until I sent the item back. Emailed 2 times, called 1 time to see if I could get a status update for an exchange. Crickets. No communication from the company:( still waiting and it’s been a month. No refund, no product, and a really bummed kid.
