I use Cakeybake alot as a pastry chef, lots of different transfers, lots of different ideas happening and they are just so good at being responsive and accommodating to bespoke requests. They are super efficient with delivery and have always been spot on with product!

The service and cake were super excellent.

Ordered a lotus biscoff cake for my son’s birthday - complete waste of money. Cake was inedible. The sponge was so wet it fell apart and it was covered in thick thick cream. Barely any sponge. My son was so upset! Even the cake board and box were wet and sticky! Would not recommend at all

Absolutely terrible experience. I ordered a cake for my partner’s birthday, and because of a technical fault on their end, I ended up being charged for 3 additional cakes. After the customer service representative assured me my money would be refunded, the company completely ghosted me. Completely ignoring my emails and calls. Avoid this company, there are many better alternatives.

My Partner ordered a cake for my birthday, there was an error with the website processing the order and he was then charged 4 times! He immediately contacted customer services to alert them to the issue (on the 15th of April) and they said the payments would bounce back for the erroneous orders and for him not to worry. They did not and he was charged 4 times and the orders went through. We have not had a response to emails since 18th of April. I have had 1 phone call, after many many attempts to get through to someone to say it will be looked into, but no actual reassurance this will be resolved and refunded as promised. Each time we are told timeframes we will be responded to in and each time these timeframes are not adhered to. I was told I would be called by 1230 yesterday, this did not happen, then when i called was told my email would be answered yesterday, this did not happen. The webchat does not work, telephone number often just rings out. It's absolutely abysmal service and considering a cake is meant to be something as a treat or a celebration, this has left a completely bitter taste in our mouths. Please refund and reply to your customers when errors happen!

I ordered i cheesecake and it was cream cake there was absolutely no cheese in it the whole thing was jus cream i am very disappointed

Absolutely loved it it was so cute & well stocked great selection easy to pay by cash or card got cookies & blondies all gorgeous will definitely be going to buy some more great prices

We had a special order of a gluten free cake and the order process for this was really seamless and the cake was delicious.

Tasty and looked really nice met expectations

I placed an order with Cakes and Bakes for my son's 2nd birthday — and what I received was shocking. The cake was burnt, bitter, and absolutely unservable. It looked nothing like what was advertised and was completely unfit for a celebration.

We had to throw it away and scramble last minute in front of guests — it was embarrassing and upsetting. This business happily took my money and delivered something that should never have left their kitchen. No response, no accountability, no refund.

It feels like this company is just out to take your money and disappear. Avoid at all costs.

This is the 5th cake I've bought from Cakes & Bakes & it was excellent as usual.

Absolutely delicious Bischoff cake. Quick turn around from ordering and fantastic value. Could easily serve double what was quoted. Very generous.

I bought a Ferrero Rocher cake, I was surprised to find it a bit bland not enough taste of hazelnut. I thought the vanilla cream inside could be more and also didn’t taste at all like vanilla. I was a bit disappointed.
Regarding the service, to order the cake it has to be done by WhatsApp which in my opinion takes long. I wasn’t able to do it by phone. So if you want to do a quick order it’s not ideal as you have to keep writing about what you want and wait for the person to respond which they don’t do straight away so more waiting!
I also noticed that they were going to charge me more than the price that was online. I did mention this to them and they amended the price so make sure when you order your cake you are aware of the price or they might charge you more.
When I picked up the cake from the shop I found the staff ok but not that friendly and I even had to ask for a bag to carry the cake box. I think that’s something that they should automatically ask the customer.
All in all it wasn’t too bad but it could’ve been much better faster service and more friendly. At least a thank you and have a good day would’ve been nice to hear.

I asked if they can make Black Forest Cheesecake and they usually don’t make it, but they were able to make that cake for us. Cake looks great, fresh and tasty. Friendly staff and responsive to customers.

birthday cake delivered on time and with care

Cake was amazing (soft and Fluffy) and looked fantastic even though we ordered last minute and delivered with time to spare.
