I spent some time checking via the internet as to the best surgeon for this treatment in the UK and Miss Hawkes name came up frequently.Very personable,professional and experienced- she does 6-7 of these every week.I can say you will be 100% satisfied if you decide to use her services and I am thoroughly pleased with the results.
It’s only right to feel apprehensive ahead of surgery but you needn’t!I had it done at the Cadogan clinic and everything went very smoothly.Dr Alex Oliver was the anaesthetist.Strongly recommend both!!

Experience was great, clinic was really nice, staff were all friendly.
I arrived early on the day, and was seen early which was a bonus.

I was recommended a consultant by another consultant!
I was recommended a consultant by another practitioner a year or so ago. I decided I wanted to proceed with a Tummy Tuck having done no research (apart from seeing results). I knew nothing about the procedure and the recovery etc etc.
It was easy to find Mr Van Niekerk online and I was aware of Cadogan Clinic being a local girl.
The onboarding process at the clinic was easy. I was able to complete all paperwork online ahead of the consultation.
The cost of the consultation was reasonable. It lasted the full hour and Mr Van Niekerk took time to understand what I wanted and my reasons for wanting to undertake the surgery,
Unlike some other practitioners, he was non-judgmental, competent and confident. I work with doctors on a daily basis in by day job. It was important that I developed a rapport with my Doctor
I was very happy with the consultation that I booked a date for surgery immediately. The pricing was reasonable and competitive.
Mr Van Niekerk was knowledgeable and gave ben confidence that he will be able to give me the results I desire, whilst being very practical and honest about what the outcome is likely to be and risks.
I felt comfortable to show him all my 'trouble' areas. some more intimate than others. I really appreciated that he took time to understand the impact on my wellbeing. He demonstrated significant empathy. I appreciated that he has a military background (not that this is important), but I like that he shared his journey into the profession.
I subsequently did my research and I wanted more information, so I booked a second consultation that was even better than the first. I had my pre-assessment and am looking forward to surgery in July.
One weakness of the website and practitioner profile is there are no specific 'before and after' by doctor or available online

Caused injury to my daughter, then washed their hands of it
My daughter underwent a cosmetic procedure at The Cadogan Clinic. During the treatment, staff were required to remove a piercing, and in doing so, broke two of her front teeth.
What followed was worse than the incident itself. The clinic refused to accept any responsibility for the damage caused, declined to contribute to the cost of remedial dental work, and most remarkably could not bring themselves to offer a simple apology.
I wrote directly to the owner. No reply. The manager's response was to point to the small print.
This is not a minor administrative complaint. This is a clinic that injured a patient and then hid behind a contract rather than show a shred of human decency. Cosmetic procedures carry inherent trust, patients are vulnerable, and that trust must be earned and protected. Cadogan Clinic failed at the most basic level.
I would urge anyone considering this clinic to think carefully. Not just about the quality of the procedures, but about what happens if something goes wrong. Based on our experience, you will be on your own.
