We’ve had an excellent experience with C2; they are patient, encouraging, and able to explain concepts in ways that really connect with my child. I highly recommend C2 to any parent looking for a dedicated, knowledgeable, and caring tutor.

Received a lot of help for SAT and AP Exams, the staff is very kind!

My son took a short but intensive schedule with C2 to get him ready for his upcoming ACT and SAT tests. They worked with him and determined that he was best suited to improving on his ACT score versus his SAT score and he improved by seven points!
I liked that they kept talking with him and determined what type of learner he was and which teachers he enjoyed the most.

I have been going to C2 since 8th grade and they have helped me improve in all my science and math classes. They have also helped me increase my SAT score by 200 points. The teachers are very friendly and easy to talk to and they answer all my questions.

We recently received our child’s SAT scores, and to be honest, we were very disappointed. The results came back far lower than what we had expected, especially considering the time, effort, and investment we’ve put into C2 program. Our child is a bright student, and it’s difficult to reconcile how someone with that level of ability could end up with such an outcome after months of preparation here.
It does make us question whether the program’s approach was the right fit.
We had hoped for a more tailored strategy that addressed our child’s strengths and weaknesses.

At this point, we genuinely feel let down, and it leaves us wondering whether we might have been better off pursuing alternative methods of preparation.
We share this feedback in the hope that C2 will consider ways to improve its support, accountability, and results, so families like ours can feel that their investment is truly worthwhile.

Very in-depth teaching and explanations

Nice people, not entirely helpful for certain topics

I’m really grateful to everyone at C2 Potomac Center for helping my brother and me with some of our toughest subjects. The teachers have been so patient and supportive, helping us understand things faster and better. They’re very responsible too—keeping track of our progress, reminding us when we need to adjust the pace or focus of our lessons. I also really appreciate how warmly they communicate with my dad, so there’s a full loop from school to C2 to him, keeping everyone in the loop. Our growth wouldn’t have been possible without all the hard work and dedication from the C2 Potomac teachers—thank you so much!

My son’s SAT’s score did not improve as much as we wanted vs the amount of money C2 charged! Instead of mainly having students understand the material you should also focus on how to take the test! Tips on how to automatically rule out answers, how to quickly read passages, etc. This was a waste of money I spent at C2. I will not refer you to anyone!

I had an excellent experience with C2 for my SAT prep. How it started: Based on my performance on the diagnostic SAT, C2 developed a study plan for me. I attended three times a week for most of the summer. Initially, I was a little bummed out about having to devote most of the summer months to SAT prep... but it was time well spent! My tutors (Christian, Caroline, Deepak, and Chris) are all top-notch. Their lucid explanations, patience, compassion, and humor got me through many challenging topics. They created a positive environment that motivated me to do my best, both on-site and at home with homework sets. Soon after the start of junior year, I took the SAT. My score was released today, and my parents and I are extremely pleased. I've come a long way since my diagnostic SAT at the beginning of summer. If you put in the time and work diligently, C2 is a great partner for achieving SAT success. Highly recommend!
