The customer service was good and solid.
This company has an excellent customer service. I have used there products for over 12 years and recently experienced an issue with one. On providing a photograph of the problem without hesitation they offered to replace it FOC.
The lady I dealt with Tracey, was very helpful and I would have no issue recommending this company and it’s products.
Mixed bag really. Some customer service has been fantastic and some are just rude and unhelpful. Really disappointed in the service that I received. Sadly I have to shop elsewhere. Shame because I think the tools are good quality.

Poor product quality and when you email to tell them you just get ignored
Recently received a pair of Heritage Tweed gloves from B&B. What a great little product these are! Posh gloves for a pretty price. Very smart, beautiful to look at, tough, well-made and fitted like a, well, a glove! They can also be washed at 30 deg. in a washing machine. Very highly recommended. Speedy delivery, great products and a great company. I will definitely be back for more shopping here.
I have a Large ( mens) and smaller ( ladies) Groundbreaker spade, bought 4 years ago. Absolutely love them both because they have a sharpened, shaped blade that cuts through the ground and roots. I, somehow, managed to break the wooden handle on the Mens when levering out some hardy shrub roots. As the product comes with a Lifetime Guarantee, I contacted Nancy at Burgon & Ball who, without hesitation, sent me a brand new replacement. I love this spade and would have certainly bought another.

I have a pair of the ergo dead heading cutters and the spring broke. I telephoned the company and they said they would send me a replacement spring free of charge, however upon finding that they had none in stock they sent me a new pair of cutters free of charge. I was gifted a Burgon & Ball fork, 18 months ago. Unfortunately I broke it. I messaged Nancy and she immediately offered to send a replacement foc. I was not asked for a receipt, nor any proof of purchase. This was absolutely brilliant service, and I will always purchase Burgon &Ball products in the future. I was most impressed!
I bought Burgon&Ball Shrub Shears more than one year ago. The spring got lost during use. I tried to use the shears without but it was too difficult. I contacted the company and straight away I received two replacement springs by post. Great service, thank you!!!

Rake turned up the size of the front door. When I referred back to the website there was no visual image to demonstrate how massive it is. Rake cost £32 but to return it cost £38, so very disappointed. Not worth buying a garden tool that’s over 60cm in length from this company unless you are sure you know what you are buying as returns of items larger than 60cm require parcel force or couriers.

We had a great experience with Burgon and Ball. We were buying some corporate gifts for an open gardens event; Nancy and her team were incredibly helpful setting up the order, engraving the gifts and getting everything done far more quickly than I had anticipated.
Great customer service - the torsion spring broke on my secateurs, and I was unable to purchase a replacement online. I contacted the company and they popped a new spring into the post for me free of charge. The secateurs are really good quality, so I am delighted to be able to continue using them.
We bought a Burgon & Ball Flora and Fauna Indoor Watering Can which developed a hole. We couldn't get any help via Amazon but when I went to Burgon and Ball direct they couldn't have been more helpful and sent a replacement straight away. I was very impressed.
I have much-loved garden pruners made by Burgon & Ball and a small (but important) part broke on one of the pruners. Not only do Burgon and Ball do replacement parts, they have sent me the replacement part for free!
I bought Burgon and Ball secateurs a year ago now. I had cause to phone them and say they would not cut and was assured that it was my fault for trying to cut to thick a stem. Today, I have been trying to prune some small Acers. They will not cope with branches a couple of pencils thick and when I try to trim the small branches they just get folded within the blade and not cut. I do not think this is my fault and will probably consign them to to tip which is just not in my nature :(

I was given a border fork as a present 18m ago, unfortunately one of the metal prongs snapped.
I contacted the company, sent in 2 pictures with my email and without any fuss or hassle I was sent a replacement. It was delivered promptly and I wasn’t required to return the broken one.
I am very grateful to the company for sorting this easily and would definitely recommend their customer service as excellent.

Burgon & Ball have provided great customer service. They have been very positive and responsive in resolving my issue. I contact them regarding a problem with a garden hoe, which I purchased in Sept 2022. Without any fuss, a replacement Dutch hoe was despatched the same day, and delivered within a few days.
