Michaela and her team have been truly amazing! We have had a couple of tricky vendors and Michaela has been there on our beck and call any time we need her. As first time buyers, we had no idea what... See more

If I could gove zero I would
If I could gove zero I would. I used them for my previous sale and they were rude, didn't reply to emails until days later. No updates. Unfortunately the seller of a new property are using them. Due to exchange today, not answering my solicitor, not returning her calls voicemails

house sale
Great service was given by both Ngaire and Rebecca during the sale of my mothers house. Excellent communication at all times

Employment Issue
Employment Issue. I couldn't have asked for more, this company went above and beyond. Michael who I assume is a partner of the firm took my case on himself, he worked closely with me to ensure my needs were met, unbiased and a feeling of being listened to was paramount to me. The care and time taken even after working hours was appreciated. I was worried about fees but he assured me I need not worry about that, they take cases on for the individual and not the profit, I learned that was true. For that I thank you Michael. Highly recommend this company. His staff also care. Thanks again, I know where to go for any future help required *****

Many thanks to Burd Ward for their professional help associated with what was not a straight forward conveyance that involved Power of Attorney and legal charges on the property being sold
Matthew Barlow was our initial point of contact and his guidance and help resolved these issues All his work was carried out in a very professional and informative manner
Many thanks to Ngaire Culshaw who took over the final stages of conveyance. Her detailed work , e mails and telephone calls ensured that all the legal requirements were in place to ensure contracts were completed thus making the process for us , which at times seemed stressful, very much easier.
Thanks also to Rebecca Williams who also kept us up to date and ensured that all the relevant documents that required actions were forwarded promptly to us
To all the team at BurdWard thank you for all your help
In a court order sale of a property…
In a court order sale of a property jointly owned by myself and ex partner,
I was initially told that you could not speak to me as I was not your client.
I had to explain to you that I actually was your client as I too owned the property being sold and would be paying half of the conveyance fees.
I was then copied in on an email to my ex which clearly stated his now address. I believe this to be a breach of confidentiality.
I had to inform you that under no circumstances should my now address be on any paperwork sent to my ex.
My ex is under sentence for assault and battery against myself and I have gone to great lengths to keep my personal details confidential after moving home due to the assault.
I am shocked by how this case has been handled finding you totally unprofessional with your lack of understanding. I realise that this wasn’t a straight forward conveyance but it should have been handled with a better understanding of court order enforced sales.

Great Service
Engaged this company to execute a will and do our conveyancing of mum's property after she passed away, they did the conveyancing and the will brilliantly. They were very professional and informative at all stages of both the will and the property, I rang them on a few occasions and they got back to me with answers straight away, Mathew was our solicitor and Hannah and Sandra did the property and will, I would use them again without hesitation and would definitely recommend them to family and friends, they definitely did more than I expected of them, thank you so much for your help an advice, a very satisfied client. 10/10 *****
