Terrible communication
I placed an order during the covid pandemic for some paving slabs. I bought from Buildex after phoning them and confirming the item was in stock. In the end it was months until the slabs arrived.
I called and emailed numerous times and was told that the delivery was definitely Italy going to take place, only for them to eventually tell me that they were never in stock in the first place.
In the end they arrived without incident, but the terrible communication and multiple calls and emails that went answered would stop me from ordering anything from them again.

Good prices but chaotic customer service.
Took nearly 2 months to deliver both parts of a garden bench and, once it arrived, mould had set in due to being stored outside (packaging was torn), requiring a sand down and application of wood treatment to get it looking nice.

leaking paint delivery. Ordered some paint which was delivered…
Ordered some paint which was delivered by a delivery company.
The box was damaged so we opened it to find the10L paint tub was cracked and starting to leak everywhere.
I rang buildex who refunded me but have norhing in place to collect a damaged product and had no suggestion how I dispose of it.
They advised this does happen but they have nothing in place to deal with it.
I am left with a leaking tub of paint and no means of getting rid if it.
Not a happy customer, would not use them again.

I am saddened to see that you have had a poor experience with us due to the paint tub being delivered damaged and leaking.
The leaking paint can cause damage to other products in transit which is why our carriers are unable to collect in these instances.
Depending on the paint type you can put this in your waste bin or take it to your local waste disposal service.
We cannot collect these damaged goods but we always offer to replace the goods or process a full refund.
I apologise that we couldn't offer you anything further to this.
