E E Change Over
I had been with Plus Net for several years and was automatically changed to EE.
First I had no broadband and the next day I have nothing although I explained I have a severe Heart Condition and must have a landline as the mobile reception is very very poor where I Live. However they clearly have failed it is impossible to contact them with no landline. They sent me a text message telling me to look in the app at my bill from EE well I have told them I don't do apps they don't listen. I also have a disability and the stress that EE cause is not good for my Heart.

Really bad internet service keeps dropping out if not working completely.
My contract was up for renewal
My contract was up for renewal. They offered me £57 renewal however, new Customer price was £26 on comparison website. Having been with BT/EE for years, they wanted to fleece me and wouldn't budge.
I signed up with vodafone on Sunday. Subsequently they have called me 3 times this week to ask if I would reconsider and its only Tuesday. The last time (guy's name was Connor) I lost my rag and asked to speak to his manager. He disconnected me.
Guys - I would think long and hard before engaging these muppets.
Misleading end of contract procedures
. We were PlusNet customers who were moved over to EE. We never saw their T&Cs. We received a reminder on 9th July to say our contract ended on 9th August. The email stated “If you choose to cancel your EE services or switch to another provider you will not be charged.” No mention of the 30 day notice period - and they had not left any time to find another provider. We weren’t looking to cancel, just to finish our contract on 9th August. We tried to give them notice via the app but continually got told our account couldn’t be accessed and to try again later. Our new broadband providers tried to cancel and came back to us saying they had been told the account didn’t exist. So it was 20th August before we actually managed to cancel services, not realising we were into our 30 day window or that there even was a window, given the wording in the email re no charges. If we had cancelled mid contract we would expect to pay a fee. But to be charged for getting to the end of your contract is unacceptable

If you live in Kilburn (NW) and…
If you live in Kilburn (NW) and thinking getting EE/BT Broadband think again, well unless you like your internet dropping off every 7-8 minutes even at 3-4 in the morning. EE it's 2026 to be facing these issues. And it's really frustrating watching your adds even your adds freezes. EE can't handle it, please stop taking on new customer till you fix the issues for your current customers. Or give us the option to cancel/ terminate our contract. Lol it's asking for date of experience but there's isn't a option for😤 everyday. Ps do you guys check your ratings🙀 and try improving it or do you guys get enough fools like my self to keep talking money.

If I could give this company 0 stars I would they are the most dreadful customer Service. I have ever experienced dont use them at all cost. young operators who dont care and love you wind you up and keep you on hold for the sake of being on hold. I reckon they need reporting to the ombudsmen pretend to open complaints and then close them without customer agreeding to do , make up prices awful company I would not use them ever again. I can see i am not the only one shock reviews just shocking
Unreliable
Im on my 2nd router, woke up this morning and no broadband again, keeps dropping out, it says connected with no Internet on my phone, and I'm sick and tired of having to switch everything off and on again. If its not reliable, then what's the point. I'll continue to struggle through til the end of my contract in February next year, but won't be renewing it.

Unable to login either on their mobile app or website. tried to call via phone and a long wait getting answered. Twice I spent over an hour and a half trying to find out why the mobile app didn't wotk without any reason. As a communication company they are the worst company I have ever tried to contact. I will be glad to finish my contract with them so I can switch to a more reliabe user friendly company who seem to know what they're doing.
The worst broadband provider ever!
The worst broadband provider ever!
So slow, my neighbour complained and was going to swap to another provider but they convinced her to stay and upgrade her package which is actually less than she paid previously!
At is an extensive problem in our locality! Need to investigate reliable alternatives!
Great company turned into a joke.
The problems started in March.
I have a property which had internet issues but these were due to the property (long bungalow with access at one end) and not the provider as such long before that.
But new build were put in and someone used my address and even though I spoke with EE several times over days (including being on hold for hours) my line was still cut off despite assurances it wouldn't be.
I was then mis sold a package as a new customer as I then couldn't use my account that I had for years (since EE was orange) as it was lost and connected with the line of the new property.
I had a 1.3gbps and I was sold a 74mbps as a 1.6gbps for cheaper obviously. I was told it would be just as fast as what I had before etc not being told it was indeed a whole different service at less than a 10th of the speed. This is actually why I use this service rather than call now as I want to make sure I have evidence when I go to the ombudsman seeking further compensation.
Now since I got another one put in, the line speeds went up and down. Then as of around the the 17th May, I've had internet that hasn't worked properly at all. It was constantly dropping and then being off for hours at a time. I raised a complaint, booked an engineer, no one turned up and then EE closed the complaint as if it was fixed.
An engineer then came out the week after and looked at the line saying it was getting eother too much or too little light for fibre and needed replaced. The internt went into LOS on the ONT and I had nothing since then.
Around a week later and a couple of engineers not turning up in between times, the outside line was completed between 2 different visits. And that was about 2 weeks ago or so. And they claim this line just needs activated. Ive had another engineer out in this time who didn't know why he was there as the hardware is all done. The line just needs activated. So out of 9 visits of engineers, 5 didn't show, 2 did work and the other 2 said they would go and contact the providers of the servers etc then didn't contact me back at all.
Day 37 of false promises and still no connection at preset.
Further edit on 19/07/2026 - tried again, 5 of 13 engineer visits with another not appearing on wednesday despite calling EE on the Tuesday to ensure this was definitely booked in. Its been a complete joke and Im now done.... I'm keeping all my equipment as compensation and not paying a penny more.
TLDR;
No communication. Miss sold packages. Faulty services. FALSE PROMISES.

The wifi constantly drops out various devices including security cameras I've given up on the ring doorbell chime as it constantly needs to be reconnected manually I'm glad I only signed up for 12 months as won't be staying
Problems from day one that are still not resolved months later.
Before signing with EE I was on 65mb broadband through Vodaphone and while we had a problem with the router the rest of the service was fine. I’ve posted before about the bloody awful installation job EE in my home, they have ignored my letters and so is now going to the ombudsman.I am plagued with slow speeds and connection problems which I report and they say the problems are fixed and yet my devices soon begin to report poor network environment. I told EE at the start that I am disabled and have difficulties using a phone so don’t try to contact me by phone and yet they insist on texting me to see if the problems have gone. Just send an engineer who can do the job correctly and supply good quality routers instead of this junk. I can’t wait until I can get rid of this service
Terrible company !
Terrible company !! All I wanted to do was add now tv boost to my tv package, this took a gruelling 45 mins of me telling the person on the other end that I didnt want anything they was trying to upsell me, all i wanted was the boost !! Which they could not get into their dense skulls !! It got to the point i gave up and dont have the boost !! The wifi is pretty rubbish too I jave 3 wifi boosters in my house and the wifis still nkt reaching certain areas, but id rather deal with it than have ti soeak to someone who hasn't got a clue and keeps trying to sell me crap I dont need
I was a BT customer for many years.
I was a BT customer for many years.. Just switch to EE full of crap Service cannot wait to leave this. irritate to thinking have to wait yr or so...
Switched to EE Broadband but Royal mail…
Switched to EE Broadband but Royal mail gave me the wrong time for delivering the router so I phoned EE to tell them I might not have it when the engineer arrived. That wouldn't be a problem they said. A few minutes later, they'd changed the engineer appointment without my asking to a time I couldn't do. Next appointment I could make was weeks down the line. I cancelled the order. And the worst thing? They couldn't care less.
Absolute shite customer service
Absolute shite customer service, no answer to emails, very slow connection speeds, no wonder they have to advertise so much. Soon as my contract ends Im gone.
