I have an ancient Toaster Oven. It's still chugging along, after end of warranty and all that. Still going. Strong Enough, for Oven Toasting Purposes. Maybe not gonna make a cake, or something like that, but for toast, or hot sandwich. Not problem.

Lucky quickly diagnosed and understood the problem, and arranged for replacement of my BOV900BSS. PLEASE NOTE, HOWEVER, THAT MUSIC AND FREQUENT INTERRUPTIONS WHILE WAITING TO SPEAK TO A PERSON ARE VERY ANNOYING. I SUGGEST THE OPTION TO WAIT IN SILENCE — APPLE SUPPORT OFFERS THIS.

LACK OF QUALITY CONTROL
After reviewing several countertop ovens, we decided to order the Breville BOV845BSS Smart Oven Pro Countertop Oven from Amazon. It arrived in good shape. The racks on the inside were binding and difficult to slide in and out. We were informed by Amazon that we need to contact Breville. After several back and forth’s with Breville, Breville decided to take back our oven and ship us a new oven. The new oven arrived and worked fine for about 3 weeks. Then the control panel started to malfunction. We noticed when after doing a cook, the backlight on the panel stayed illuminated for about an hour. The “RESET” was to unplug the unit for several minutes then plug back in. When we did that, it initialized to TOAST and the SLICE number option started counting up from 4 to max of 6. We tried the BAKE, the timer started at :30 minutes and started counting up to max of 2:00 hours. This did this every time after removing power for several hours. Breville support wanted to do a video call to verify, and indeed it was verified. Support said they would replace the oven. We stated we preferred a refund rather than trying a third unreliable Breville. Breville stated we would have to go back through Amazon for the refund. Unfortunately, we are now outside the 30 day refund window for Amazon and Breville would not refund our money so we are stuck with another inferior Breville oven. Looking at the Breville website reviews, there appears to be an ongoing problem with the racks binding. While Breville support is fairly responsive, their quality control is very lacking. We highly recommend going with another more reliable brand name. If you order through Amazon, DO NOT go through Breville support, RETURN and get your REFUND ASAP and go with another brand.

It’s really frustrating
It’s really frustrating. This is the second time I have had to return this model of kettle. The first time because it started to rust after three months though I did regular descaling. The second one I am returning because it started to whistle as if the glass is faulty. I was willing to do an exchange but I didn’t really want the same model cause it’s been disappointing. I offered to pay the difference but was advised they don’t do upgrades. So now I’m stuck with a kettle I don’t really have faith in.

I have been very impressed with their customer service over the years I have had my coffee maker. When several parts have been broken, replacements were quickly received. The carafe cap fell and broke, and the carafe replacement arrived within a werk. The ring holding the vinyl strainer cracked and was replaced without a fee!! Amazing! Their staff is efficient, professional and very personable! Perfect!!
