I've made a number of orders with Brampton, all of which have been sent perfectly packaged. No easy task with museum glass. On this occasion, I asked for the frames to be sent with no tabs or minimal tabs as I would be removing the glass as part of my process. I expected the frames to arrive with perhaps a couple of tabs each side for transport. Instead, the frames arrived completely bare, with the mount, back mount, and glass all wrapped separately in layers for each frame. Must have been a lot of extra work and certainly saved a lot of time for me at my end. Far exceeded the scope of my request and couldn't be happier with the product and service received. I've been using a high-end London based picture framer for sometime now, but have since moved house. A trip to London is now a little out of reach, so I thought that I'd give Brampton a try. What caught my eye was the Fine Art Trade Guild affiliation. The frames I've received have been well produced and the company give you the option of choosing conservation grade materials. Very well packaged, too. I will definitely be using them again.

Sending wafer thin glass through the post without breakages - I am so impressed. Glass arrived on time, as ordered, effectively (but not excessively) packed, on time as promised. Can't praise this service enough and will definitely use again next time I break some glass.

I really appreciate being able to make a small order of one picture mount - so many companies have a minimum order requirement. My order was completed in the expected time and packaged very conscientiously. Highly recommended.

They sent me the wrong float glass size not once, but twice! Very unfortunate, it wasted so much time for me as they took quite a long time. Extra star only because the customer service team was thoughtful and gave me a refund.

I always look for the opportunity to review positively - but here I really can't. Placed an order for a simple A4-size piece of float glass on 26th August, thinking this would be easier than driving to my local glazier. Item took 10 days to arrive - yesterday - which might have been OK in the 1960s, but I wish now I'd just nipped out locally. Don't use these guys if you're in a hurry!

I had a small card hand painted by my daughter in law that I wanted framed. It is really special to me. Although only one tiny picture to frame the advice on type of glass (it was for a south facing conservatory) and frame was absolutely incredible. Nothing was too much trouble and Sarah talked me through ideas and different suggestions. I know it was a small order and that sometimes companies only want to deal with the bigger orders but this certainly wasn't the case. The order was dealt with swiftly and I am so pleased with the result. It really was what I call "old fashioned service" and that doesn't happen often any more!! A huge thank you to everyone involved for making my card even more special and it now hangs in pride of place in my conservatory.

Brampton framing have matted and framed a number of pieces of art-work for me over the years. They have always done first-class work. I was especially appreciative of my request to match the grain patterns on the mitred corners making for a most elegant frame. Prices are reasonable. The service is friendly, never hurried and professional advice generously given.

Very professional company, the website was very easy to use to find the frame that fitted what I wanted, and the quality is superb. I sent a lot of emails both before ordering to check their advice on what size to order and any extras they would advise, and after ordering to check how to assemble, and their customer service team were very helpful and prompt with replying. Also when my acrylic was damaged in transit they provided a replacement immediately.
They have literally hundreds of different frame options and can filter by various requirements such as colour, width etc. There are also various glass and acrylic options ranging from standard low cost to very high quality UV protection. For the quality of the frames and accessories I think they are very reasonably priced and there is a huge range in prices among the different options too depending on your preferences.
It was also very helpful to be able to order samples for 60p so I could compare directly next to the picture - on the website you can upload your picture and see it with the frame there, but of course the colours and details will look slightly different in real life compared to a screen.
Overall I am very happy with my purchase as well as the whole process, and I am now going to buy my sister a frame too :)
