From the moment you walk into Bower and Child ,you know your in professional hands , Mike and his team , were warm and welcoming , providing us with an exact replacement range cooker , installed by professional experts , having been employed by the company for over 30 years , nothing was too much trouble , thanks again Mike and your team .

Ordered a cooker from here it has arrived and looks lovely in my new kitchen. Arrived on time , prompt delivery and installation, excellent service as always. I would highly recommend bower and child.

After searching for a Masterchef Aga for sometime , I stumbled upon Bower and Child during a night internet perusal . I am so glad I did , what an amazing friendly and helpful company . Mike went above and beyond to ensure we chose the cooker that was right for our busy family , he accommodated all my questions and mithering , so much so that we drove from Wigan to his showroom just to make sure it was right . Today it has been fitted and I am over the moon the two fitters were amazing , friendly , quick and efficient after driving from Huddersfield to Wigan early this morning to install they never complained at all . Excellent service and well worth a visit , I am so glad I did you really can’t go wrong .

Bower and Child have recently installed a wood burning stove for us. The service has been fantastic. They recommended a local builder who altered our existing open fireplace to make it suitable for a stove, and then they organised the scaffolding needed to line the chimney as well as helping us choose the stove and installing it. Everyone has been friendly and knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. Also, the showroom is just gorgeous!

The service I received at Bower and Child was excellent the staff went above and beyond to make sure that I had the right products with depth of information. I would recommend Bower and Child for your kitchen appliances.

Absolutely amazing service! We have recently bought our first home and out of all the companies we have worked with, Bower and Child has been one of our favourites! All the staff, from shop to fitting, are professional, friendly and knowledgable. They helped us find the perfect log burner for us and were patient and informative throughout the whole process. After fitting, they ensured they left the area spotless and dust free. We are extremely happy with the service they provide! All the stoves look great and we get lots of comments on ours. We highly, highly recommend!

Excellent - our Aga (bought from B&C 30 years ago) required the boiler system removing. Jonathan and John did a great job (both having worked on the servicing and removal/re-installation of the cooker at 3 addresses over the 30 years). Understandably, they are real experts, and it was a pleasure to have them undertaking the work.

We were so pleased and relieved to find Bower and Child. We moved house last year to one that had a 25 year old range cooker - long past the end of its life and with a number of problems. We have since then been looking off and on for a replacement - a 100cm dual fuel range cooker. It has been really frustrating. Lots of websites offering supposed choice but no stock until much later in the year, no ability to view, no advice on the pros and cons of each model, no ability to install and remove old range. Then we found Bower and Child and dropped in for a visit. Mike and the team could not have been more helpful. He showed us examples in the shop from a number of ranges and brands and explained the pros and cons of each. We in the end decided on a Falcon in China Blue. The price quoted was fair and included delivery, installation and removal of the old cooker. It was ordered and a delivery and installation date agreed before we left the shop. Such a refreshing change to get such great service and advice. Will post a further update on installation but from the experience thus far and reading other reviews I have no doubt this will go well. They even made us cups of tea :)

I cannot recommend this company highly enough.
The owner, is a fair and honest businessman who puts the interests of the customer first and foremost.
We have been dealing with B&C for almost 20 years and I can categorically state that the engineers are terrific. They are friendly, 100% efficient and always clean up after themselves.
We have just had a Dunsley 500 wood burning stove fitted and the 2 engineers consulted with us throughout the process, they even bricked-up the hole in the wall (inside & outside), left by the previous fire (which they dismantled and removed), what a terrific job they did too! Ours is an old house, so matching the brickwork was never going to be an easy task but they ‘aged’ the bricks perfectly and they are now nicely blended in with the rest of the house. So not only great engineers but great brickies too 😊
Shop around for a better price but you will never get better service and at the end of the day it's how good a job is done and that is the priceless part, coupled with a superb aftercare service.
BTW, the fire is great too 😊

Excellent knowledge and advice in helping us to choose the right stove. Fitters were fantastic, professional, efficient and, most importantly, clean and tidy in their work! We are very happy with our woodburner and would highly recommend.
