I wouldn't recommend this company for any garages
I wouldn't recommend this company. In my experience, they don't own or operate any garages themselves. Instead, they act as a middleman between customers and independent garages.
From what I've seen, garages pay a monthly subscription fee of around £70, plus approximately £24 for each job they receive through the platform. Those costs have to be covered somehow, and it's hard not to feel that customers ultimately end up paying for them.
The company doesn't actually repair your car—the work is carried out entirely by independent local garages. Their role is simply to connect customers with those garages while taking a fee for each booking.
Many people praise the service, but I don't see what value it adds. If you're happy to contact a local garage directly, you may be able to avoid the middleman altogether. In my opinion, this business is more about generating commission than providing a genuine repair service.
They even threatened to see me in court when I tried to get out of the contract

Customers do not pay BookMyGarage when making a booking. All work is carried out by the chosen garage, and payment is made directly to the garage on the day. Many customers find value in being able to book online at any time of day, particularly outside of normal business hours when garages may be closed. In turn, this also benefits garages by increasing their visibility and allowing them to receive bookings when they may otherwise miss out on enquiries.
We appreciate that comparison services may not suit everyone's preferences, and some customers may prefer to contact garages directly. However, our goal is simply to make the process of finding and booking with a local garage as straightforward and transparent as possible.
