I cannot thank Bondel enough for the beautiful portrait of our beloved dog who recently passed away. Losing her was incredibly difficult, but this portrait truly brought comfort to our family. It perfectly captured her gentle expression and spirit.

Know this before you order....

First thing to know is that they're not actually creating an original image based off the pic you send in. They're running your photo through a computer program, and what you get will be exactly what you send in, only made to look like an original painting. Why they ask for additional photos of your pet to assist in their creation process is beyond us, as none were used for anything.

We went through four revisions with 'Andrew' and eventually got something we were satisfied with. Some of the original instructions were ignored, and others weren't really done like we had intended. For example, when we didn't like how the original version looked with the button/latch on our dog's collar, we asked for that to be removed and just have the collar extended all the way around. They deleted the button/latch but didn't extend the collar, so there was just a gap where her collar stopped in the middle of her neck. Also, there were aspects, like a reflection from a light fixture in our dog's eyes that we would've expected to either not be brought into the first version or then removed when they noticed it was that were still there until we asked for it to be removed. Same with a glare around her lip that they actually made look like another row of teeth. Also, a slight glare on her black nose was made to look like there was a dark gray smudge there. Lots of suggestions needed to be provided to 'make her eyes brown', 'give her tongue some pink color', etc.

There were also often many days between communication and then versions, so a present intended to be a June birthday/Father's Day present wasn't actually approved and received until early July.

Overall, I guess we're satisfied with the final product, because for the price, it was much more reasonable than other options. And honestly, the back and forth got to be so tiring, and you have to pay in advance, so we really just wanted to be done with the process.

We also knew going in what others had said...black dogs just don't look as good in this kind of art as there's less definition in their faces. And we tend to agree. Also, the glare on the canvas isn't great, so if you put it anywhere near where you'll have direct light, prepare for there to be quite a glare.

Would we do it again for this price? Maybe...but we probably would've checked even more options first and/or looked at someone on Etsy to make a truly original image of our dog even if it were more expensive.

**Adding on after seeing the reply from Victor...I'm sorry, but comparing the original photo to the four proofs, you can't convince me this is an original work of art. Sure, perhaps the 'artist' is outlining or drawing over the photo, but side by side, it's the same thing. And if it is an actual original, there's no way flaws from the photo should be carried over into a proof that's sent to a customer. That's just sloppy and unprofessional.**

The whole experience was wonderful. The process was easy and customizable. The communication was quick! My portraits of my dogs came out perfect 😍

From the proof to the finished product, Bondel made sure I was going to be happy. The entire process was friendly and fast. They did a wonderful job bringing my dog from the phone to the wall. Very pleased.

I think the artist did a great job with the pictures we provided in capturing a great look of all the animals. I think the prints themselves being on canvas and the quality was exceptional. I asked for a few changes to be made and that was done quickly and any questions I had was always answered quickly as well. Probably the one thing I would say they might want to do better in the future is to advise the customers on the sizes of the photos. If you have a very large photo it looks great on a very large wall. But if your walls are not that tall, they could maybe provide a little bit of guidance on getting smaller prints. I was hoping to put say all the prints on one wall but because I ordered two large of sizes I have to now spread them out throughout the house. They're still awesome and I take full blame for the size I ordered, but a little more guidance would have been helpful on the print size. Thank you again!

I ended up doing 5 different pieces. The first was my dog a doodle named Chipper. I was totaled happy. Then I did my Son's doodle. We were both blown away. We had a picture of both dogs together and I did it. Each time I had a ball communicating with Andrew as he relayed my wishes to his team. Had another of Chipper. Then I had a lady that had a picture of her dog that was only a 9-year-old picture that only showed the head and face of him. I got with Andrew and asked if he could just take the dog's head and put it on the dog. Long story Andrew and team took the head and put it on the body and we continued for a couple more days, and the dogs picture came to life. We continued and fine turned it until it was amazing what they created. I got the canvas this week and I gave it to her the next day. I wish I could show the pictures we took. She was so surprised and overjoyed. If you have a pet, you want something special of try Andrew and team you won't be disappointed.

Not only did they do an awesome job creating beautiful canvas prints of our Angel Dogs Tucker and Tyler the communication and collaboration was 1st class. I highly recommend Andrew and Bondel. Thank you for our beautiful memories.

Our hearts overflow with love for the portrait of our beloved Abe. We collaborated closely with the artist to ensure his vibrant personality shone through. Although he left us too soon, the sight of his portrait reminds us of the joy he brought to our lives.

The artistic team was patient and responsive to all my comments. and very talented! They captured our dog's image perfectly and we love the portrait!
