Cancelled a policy with these guys .due to the manner they took out the policy .
Misleading indeed .
Attempted 5 times to get payment refund from this company .
Came up with exscuses that just never fitted the any intentions to refund .
Will never deal with these again very sub standard but good liars avoid boiler breakdown ltd

Great customer service and communication

The team came over to install a new boiler and replace some radiator pipes. They had various challenges throughout the day which delayed them considerably, but they remained until the job got done which was much appreciated. New boiler and pipes look great, and everything works perfectly. Team were all very friendly and professional. Special thanks to Andrew.

The gas engineer attended the site for 10 mins and concluded the boiler's expansion vessel blew up, without further testing. He suggested to replace the boiler instead of repair. I ended up repairing the boiler spending 15% of their quote. In the end the expansion vessel has to be reinflated, not replaced. This is the second time they visit one of my properties and suggest boiler replacement.

Almost immediate reply from an affiliated company. Came out same day.

A well executed installation over 2 days, a great team of engineers and were vary considerate throughout their time with us.

When I rang BB on 21/09/23, they had an available engineer on 27/09/23 to do my seasonal maintenance, yet when I rang them back today to book, which was only 2 business days later, apparently they have NO available engineers for 8 to 12 weeks?? Really?

Paid £300 for 2 different visits with a total of 10 minutes spent combined with the 2 visits. It was for a leaking in the toilet and now the leak is even worse. Avoid at all cost this company.

Boiler Breakdowns did a great job, my boiler packed up just as the cold weather came. Service was quick which is what i needed. All the forms are online, so very professional. Wesley the engineer did a great job with the install. My new boiler has a 10 year gaurantee. So very happy and satisfied.

Nick the plumber was punctual on both visits to our house and communication was good between us and the office. The only thing that I would say is that when I was presented with the paperwork to sign, once the job had been completed, I was asked for two signatures which I did without question. This was my fault as I should have checked what I was signing for. Afterwards, on rereading the paperwork, I realised that I had signed to say I had refused a safety check. I did not refuse it, I was not offered such safety checks. This should have been discussed in more detail, as I would of course have accepted any safety check.
I would still recommend this company but would advise anyone to take their time and read the paperwork once a job has been completed.

I was supported by Pheobie who was extremely prompt in get me the support. Engineer called and assisted me over the phone. My system was up and running again. It was a very cold day so I was extremely grateful so the prompt and efficient response. Thank you.
