Make sure when signing up you opt out…

Make sure when signing up you opt out of the recurring 16.48 charge a month. I have been charged 3x so far and I am disputing those charges. I signed up 2 16 year old for the course and 1 of them can't get into the sight to opt out of the recurring charge.

If you want a physical card look elsewhere

The Website was intuitive, but it took over a month to receive the digital copy of my card by email, I had to email them to request it and a week later they replied and sent it, I never received the physical card, (BEWARE) I emailed them requesting the physical copy and I got a reply saying that since I didn't "request it" on the website I would have to pay and do the course all over again, just to get a physical card, the sneaky thing is that the website advertises that they give you the choice of digital or physical but when signing up I only had the option for digital.

3-4 hours, LIES!

Editing to add - beware of international transaction fees with your bank account! I was not expecting that especially given I was taking a NJ boater course and nowhere does it say this is not a US based company.

I cannot recommend this obnoxious class to anyone!
They claim 3-4 hours to complete. This took me closer to 7 hours as i was doing it non stop as fast as it allows. So it is physically impossible for 3-4 hours.
You can’t speed it up.
All Videos end and there is anywhere from 1 to 3 min before the timer runs out and have to wait to move forward this itself added 2+ hours of wasted time!
What a lie! Maybe 3hours worth videos plus waiting time then testing time. So 7 hours. Advertise it properly. There are other courses and maybe there more honest with the time.
All sections have an annoying usless introduction videos to the course. Just start why add this to waste time.
Then all chapters have 2 “review” sections and 1 summary. WHY IS THAT NECESSARY 3 sections to close out a single chapter? Just adding time for nothing.
The people talking repeat themselves so much i wanted to hit my head against the wall. WE GET IT. MOVE ON!! They even had to change from a male to female at section 7, His voice probably got tired of repeating himself.
This course is a joke

No customer service

The boater card I received had my name spelled wrong.
Tried emailing both of their email addresses listed. Both are bounced back saying undeliverable.
Tried calling both the numbers listed on their website. Waited 18+ minutes multiple times only to have the call ended in their end.

My husband did not receive his…

My husband did not receive his certification and it's been over a year. I sent them an email and they said we should get it in the next few weeks. Still nothing. I tried to reply on the email to let them know and I was blocked!! I would like our money back.

Site stopped working

Site stopped working, took me to some stupid interactive course, wouldn't let me take it normal DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE FAST PASS ITS A SCAM!!!!

I tried completing the boating…

I tried completing the boating education course but once i got to the final video, it would not let me move on to the chapter 9 quiz or the final exam. On the page, the time or next button doesn't show at all. I spent 5 hours straight trying to finish it to end up not getting my certificate or my refund, waist of time and money.

Passed, paid, but no card.

Never received my permanent card. Email address for help comes back undeliverable. PA Fish and Boat says call the examiner. No one answers. I just want the card I should get for paying and passing the course.

I paid $34.59 On this Test First time Passing It took Only 3 - 5 Weaks i recieved my Florida Boating Perment Card on July 2and

On 2023-02-02 I paid for and passed the…

On 2023-02-02 I paid for and passed the exam and was emailed a temporary PCOC which expires after 60 days after issue. I was advised that I would receive my permanent card in the mail. It is now the middle of June and I have still not received my card. All recent attempts to call into 1-866-688-2628 to report my problem, over the course of the last two days, resulted in a recorded msg. stating that they have experienced an outage and to try back later.

I bought the exam and started the…

I bought the exam and started the course. The next day I logged in and the course is gone. Customer service said I have to do the course on an iPhone with the app. Which is fine, just wish there was an online version for my laptop that worked.

Unresponsive page

I was provided with login and coupon to apply (after paying for the full course through safeboat) . When applying coupon the page became unresponsive and customer service was available ("due to outage")
Tried to log in and it required another duplicate payment after which the page was unresponsive and course material did not load.
