Bought as a replacement an own brand (SIMPLY) soft close toilet seat. The girl at the till asked if I wanted a receipt in case it was unsuitable. HOW TRUE !!!. I bought it as it said quick and easy fitting owing to my mobility issues. FALSE. The manner of fittings stop this item being attached as it comes loose every time. I could descend to toilet based puns in this review about product suitability. The HONEST point is that the item is not fit for purpose and should be taken off the shelves.
I took item back with receipt, refund no quibble so as a firm review is 3*but product 1*

I use Warrington Riverside, parking is easy, generally always well stocked, staff ok although not over enthused but can I recommend the whilst you have a huge selection of mops and floor cleaning products that selling the mop buckets would be a real winner

Visited your store in prudhoe to buy a pot for a memorial rose after the recent loss of my dad. Helen in the garden centre was amazing. Very caring, helped me select the right tub for it, gave advice on planting and after care, showed me to the plant food and explained which would be best and asked me to let her know how I got on! First rate customer service and better than several large national garden centre chains I’d visited who weren’t that helpful. Well done Helen. A credit to your store and team!

If I was only reviewing B&M Customer Services I would vote 5 STAR for Lisa & Krista - however I have to take into consideration why I contacted them & for the B&M store in Govan it would be a 1 STAR (& that's being generous)
Visited the store, 2 tils on, 1 rudely waving her arms pointing her finger shouting no, go to him, "him" had already waved his hands to not serve me noting both tils were just finished serving customers. I went back to 1st he was not happy to serve. Next thing the woman who'd shouted & pointed her finger was over in my face complaining she'd needed the toilet for ages & ran off shouting, I don't really know what! It was absolutely bizarre behaviour from both. I really should have left as I was spending a lot of money but I was feeling confused & a bit upset my young daughter was upset. Then I was overcharged by £10.50 the manager tried to tell me I was getting my money back as a "gesture of goodwill"?? No, you overcharged me & returning my money otherwise it would be called stealing. Maybe it was just a bad day for them but honestly it was awful.
While I was being served there was another woman waiting to speak to the manager too. I think a lot of training required. And by the way - no apology from the manager!
But Customer Services ladies Krista & Lisa were SUPERB!

Even though there was an incident with a product, the customer service waited two weeks until I was able to gain the correct information and still helped and supported me through it. I was grateful for the patience and time they gave me. It was resolved within the day I managed to get the information required.

Three members of staff went over and above by helping us with our purchases. They carried them and loaded them in the car. The two desk assistants couldn't have been more pleasant and the young man who loaded the car was amazing. Main thing was not made to feel condescending by asking for help. Thank you all.

Very impressed with the quality of the outdoor plants at B&M Aukland Road Southampton. Its clear they are being well looked after by staff with real knowledge who I witnessed giving such helpful advice to other customers. So much better quality than other chains selling summer plants. I have purchased all of my tubs and visited 3 times already for more plants. Well done!!

Second time I have looked online for a particular item and found it at B&M (in my local store). Once more I go there and find they don't even know about this item. Previously I wanted nothing more than some nails, was directed to the area but only found screws.

Fantastic Customer Service!
I was shopping in my local B&M (Whitehaven) after work yesterday evening and had picked up a basket rather than a trolley. I’d picked up quite a bit of shopping and my basket was getting really heavy, I asked a nearby member of staff if there were any trolleys available, he couldn’t have been more helpful and fetched me one and unloaded my basket into the trolley for me. He’s a credit to your store, so helpful, obliging and polite. Great service, thank you so much!

I primarily writing this to highlight how wonderful the staff at the Lancaster branch of this store are. The service there is so consistently lovely I think the staff deserve recognition for all they do.
They are always professional but helpful, friendly and so warm and genuine it makes it the store a pleasure to visit, even when its busy. I'd particularly like to praise the young people that work the tills. They are so pleasantly welcoming I always come away from shopping there with a smile.
I hope the staff know how much the pleasant atmosphere they create in that store is appreciated.

I recently experienced a problem with an item I purchased from a B&M store. I contacted the Customer Service department and dealt with Jane from the team, The quick and efficient manner that my problem was dealt with was very impressive and I am fully satisfied with the way this was handled.

Spoke to customer service as couldn't find my receipt and had a hard time finding my details for the transaction which included my the item I wanted to return. It took a little time to locate but the advisor was really helpful and patient and sent over the receipt so I can proceed.

Bought a candle in a jar,paid cash and lost receipt candle is clearly faulty only burnt to a quarter and won't light no wick left.Shop will ony refund if you pay on card or have your receipt therfore discriminate against cash buyers very bad policy.Regarding your reply if you can prove the product was purchased at b&m you don't need a receipt for faulty goods.The b&m label was stuck under candle so I'm done I'll use one below and home bargains for similar purchases.
