Our business relationship started off very well but quickly became problematic during the pandemic and beyond. Their stock levels stated online are rarely accurate, their billing is antiquated and they don’t seem to have any recognisable process or system for dealing with complaints.
Eventually the internal sales manager became threatening having not dealt with the issues we’d been raising for a very long time and the director, with whom we’d worked for a very long time from his previous company right through to Bluestar, helpfully blocked our email communications.
With Amazon and Shopify moving into the distribution business this year companies like this are going to struggle if they don’t modernise their processes. Little wonder that only 66% of their employees are confident in the future of the business on Glassdoor.
If you are seeking to distribute hardware look elsewhere. Great when it’s going good, shockingly bad at dealing with issues.
UPDATE!: They are trying to bill us £620 in restocking and shipping fees to return an order of just over £2500 that was made in error due to a lack of training on their staff's behalf. Unbelieveable.
