“I highly recommend not using Bitget platform. It’s always lagging, extremely slow, and has memory issues. Settings don’t hold, indicators have to be reloaded constantly, and overall performance is terrible. Plus, the customer support is very poor. It’s not worth the hassle.”

I highly recommend NOT using this platform. I have spent the last 2 months trying to withdraw my funds, they are more than happy for you to deposit money but when you need to withdraw it's a different story. I couldn't tell you how many emails back and forward to resolve the issue and it felt like I was on ferries wheel going round and round. Save yourself the headache which I been dealing with and stay clear from Bitget.

Warning to all P2P sellers! My bank account (Public Bank) was frozen for fraud investigation after selling USDT to buyers Virushi and UdahMYR on 16 Jan 2025.
Bitget support is ignoring my official bank evidence and refuses to provide trade receipts because the orders are "archived."
Orders involved:
1263582619544412161 (RM 999.98)
1263581094583558145 (RM 3,999.961)
How can we trust this platform if they don't help when bank accounts get blocked by dirty money?

So I wanted to sell USDT to Rubles. There was a verified seller with 99% completion and multiple positive reviews. I did the transaction, the seller said it was their rule that I should release the coins before they deposit the fiat. Now they are unresponsive. The transaction is 1391574723162464257. I have sent inquiry. Will update when Bitget will somehow refund my USDT from such scammers.

My funds have been stuck for over 6 months. When I asked them what was going on, they blocked my account. This is a scamsite. Please don’t put any money there. I was stupid enough to fall for it.

I used Bitget as an experienced investor and placed multiple spot limit buy orders before a strong market crash on October 10.
These orders were clearly visible in the user interface and reduced my available spot balance accordingly. After the crash, all open orders disappeared simultaneously.
No trades were executed, I did not manually cancel any orders, and there are no entries in the order history, cancelled orders, or trade history.
I contacted support multiple times and described the situation in detail. After several weeks of communication and escalation attempts, Bitget informed me that there were “no system records” for these orders and therefore assumed that they had “not been placed in the system.” The case was then closed without any technical explanation.
From a user perspective, this is very unsatisfactory.
If orders are visible in the UI and funds are blocked, their later non-existence in system data raises serious questions about system stability, logging, or reconciliation under extreme market conditions.
I do not allege intent or manipulation.
However, the lack of transparency, the unwillingness to provide a technical clarification, and the ticket being closed without comment have significantly undermined my trust.
Under normal conditions, Bitget may function adequately — but in my case, it became clear that when a problem occurs, the user is left on their own.
Update: Bitget responded here on Trustpilot by referring to an email I had already received. Unfortunately, that response did not provide any technical clarification, and the issue remains unresolved.
Hinweis in Deutsch:
Sichtbare Spot-Orders verschwanden während eines Marktcrashs vollständig. Bitget schloss den Fall später mit dem Hinweis, es gebe keine Systemaufzeichnungen – ohne technische Klärung.

I strongly advise against using the P2P platform on Bitget. My current experience highlights significant deficiencies in buyer protection and support efficiency.
The Incident: A buyer falsely marked a transaction as "paid" without actually sending any funds. Additionally, the buyer attempted to manipulate the officially listed exchange rate within the chat to my disadvantage.
The Support Process: Despite involving support and submitting all requested evidence (bank statements), the resolution has been excessively delayed:
Initially, screenshots were requested and provided immediately.
After 24 hours, support demanded a video of my bank account showing sensitive details (name, account number). This was also provided.
Another 24 hours have since passed without any response from Bitget.
Current Status: The buyer has already admitted in the chat that no money was sent and has agreed to cancel the order. However, my assets remain locked for over three days. Support is failing to react despite clear evidence and a direct admission of guilt from the counterparty.
Conclusion: Bitget does not provide adequate security in its P2P department. The processing times are unacceptable, and the procedure is unnecessarily complicated even in cases of obvious fraud. I will be avoiding this exchange in the future.

Just organized criminality. Bitget allows p2p. No warning for steem/Hive. Fake aml check, they will ask to transfer the same amounts each time. When the amount will become a huge amount of funds, then bitget will steel it all. Just scammers. When you will email them, they will simply say . ....we dont support steem/ Hive. This company should be forbidden to exict. I am using now Mexc for a while and never got any problems with mexc. So i dont understand why He bitget is still allowed

One of the best CRYPTO EXCHANGE
I'm using bitget around 3 years and completed more than 2000+ p2p trade as Marchent. To be honest, i never faced any issue with them. Their p2p appeal handling is smooth and very quick. If you talk with the support they escalate your issue and immediately you get update! Which is really cool.

Do not use this exchange unless you want to lose your funds!!! I wish someone had warned me. I have to reset my 2FA. They ask you to send video proof of your transfered funds on other exchanges and wallets, you have to show video proof of logging into those wallets! or you can't reset your security options and they will withhold your funds unless you do that . It is an unbelievable and a complete invasion of privacy. I have spent weeks trying to resolve this. Awful suppport team. Just an awful exchange. Avoid at all costs.

I experienced a serious and unresolved issue on Bitget while trading ETHUSDT in cross margin mode I only added 10 USDT at first and the margin slowly reached around 60 USDT then suddenly without adding any funds the margin jumped by itself to around 361 USDT this forced me to reduce my position to avoid liquidation later after switching leverage from 100x to 10x without adding any money the system automatically expanded my margin again to around 900 USDT even though my available wallet balance was around 1100 USDT so how was almost my entire wallet forced into margin without my approval this created extreme liquidation pressure and forced me to close positions under stress and in total I lost around 800 USDT and paid more than 100 USDT in fees I contacted support many times and they kept giving only general explanations about cross margin and mark price without ever providing a clear technical explanation or showing system logs they also could not confirm what caused the first jump from 60 to 361 and only said it is possible this is not transparency and not acceptable risk handling for traders I am sharing this to warn others to be very careful with cross margin and leverage changes on this platform

Update after Bitget reply #1
Their answer completely ignored the real issue which is the sudden abnormal jump in margin
No clear technical explanation was given
This confirms my concern about serious lack of transparency
Extreme caution is required when using cross margin on this platform

I am extremely disappointed with how Bitget/OSL Pay is handling my case. It has now been over 20 days since I submitted my complaint, and I have not received any response, update, or acknowledgment.
They repeatedly write in public replies that they “responded” or “followed up,” but this is simply not true. I have checked my inbox, my spam folder, and all communication channels, there is no email, no message, absolutely nothing.
My issue is very clear and documented:
• I made a deposit on October 28th from the same verified bank account I have always used.
• OSL Pay placed an internal EDD hold without any external authority request.
• The deposit was released only days later, after I submitted additional documents for an account that was already verified multiple times.
• Because of this unnecessary delay, my active position on Bitget was liquidated, causing a real financial loss of around 16,700 USDT.
I contacted Bitget and OSL Pay multiple times. Instead of helping, they keep pointing to each other, and now both have simply stopped responding.
Meanwhile, on Trustpilot, they pretend to be helpful and claim they are “in communication” with me, but this is misleading and factually wrong.
The reality is:
• 20+ days of silence
• No investigation results
• No compensation offer
• No explanation
• No timestamps
• No accountability from either Bitget or OSL Pay
This experience has been incredibly frustrating. As a fully verified customer who used the same bank account every time, I expected at least proper communication. Instead, I was ignored after suffering a loss that was not caused by market conditions, but by their operational failure.
I am now escalating this issue to EU regulators, MAS, consumer protection authorities, and public channels not because I want to, but because Bitget and OSL Pay refuse to take responsibility or even communicate.
I hope this review helps other users understand the risks involved when a platform publicly claims to offer support but privately ignores customers for weeks. Unacceptable
