From the moment I stepped into the showroom at Washington Steve lansley sales executive lead me through the sales process professionally explaining all the actions I needed to do once I had decided on the car of my choice.
He arranged for work to the car I required and it was delivered on time which was important as I needed it to go on holiday.
Even though paper work is via computer he arranged for me to sign at kia Washington which was a great relief not being conversant with computers.
In all a very satisfied experience.

While the sales team were very pleasant and helpful, understandable they were selling me a car. The service department were rude, unhelpful and never returned my calls

This is a great KIA dealership. They get warranty work done without any fuss. They lent us an EV6 while our EV had a new part fitted. Big thanks to Dean & Rebecca for providing the correct coolant. Great place to get an EV with fantastic support. Around 800 family miles driven a month for only £14 of nighttime electric!

Very pleased with my purchase at the washington branch of kia, Matt was very accommodating, polite, friendly lastly smart and overall highly professional. Even after having a slightly negative welcome from another sales chap. Matt took on the sale and nothing was too much hassel for him to look into or sort out he made me forget about the negative start. Exceedingly happy with the vehicle and will be returning in the future. I would recommend the washington kia garage highly to all.

AVOID Birchwood Skoda, Eastbourne: Utterly appalling service & disrespect

My experience at Birchwood Skoda in Eastbourne was frankly insulting and a complete waste of my time and money. If you value either, go elsewhere.

I brought my car in for an ABS light issue, using a 20% off voucher. Despite being upsold a service I didn't need the day before, I agreed, hoping the voucher would soften the blow.

I arrived before 9am as instructed, having travelled from out of town with a car that wasn't in good health. After an unpleasant 2+ hour wait in a nearby cafe - no call from the garage as promised - I walked back to find my car untouched and no one interested in looking at it.

When I dared to ask if anyone had even started the promised diagnostic check (which, by the way, costs £139 + VAT), the middle-aged male staff member with dark hair was utterly dismissive. Instead of an apology for the 2 hour delay and broken promise, he lectured me that "it says the wait is anytime from 10 til 4pm" and there were "other people waiting too." Why tell me to be there before 9 am then? Why promise a call after an hour? It's bafflingly inconsiderate.

This isn't an isolated incident. My previous dealings with another specific staff member at this branch (woman, middle aged) was consistently rude, unhelpful, and completely lacking in basic customer service. They give zero shits, and it shows. The entire place radiates bad vibes.

I cancelled the service, thoroughly disgusted by the disrespect and blatant disregard for a customer's time, especially one who travelled with a compromised vehicle. What's worse, since leaving, I've noticed new issues - my interior light flickers, and the boot won't lock. This whole ordeal was dangerous, wasteful, and deeply unprofessional.

Birchwood Skoda, your staff are a disgrace and are actively driving customers away. Avoid this garage at all costs.

The salesman Dominic was brilliant, gave me plenty of time and space to inspect the car before purchase and allowed me a test drive, got a great deal which included a great warranty, the best Ford Dealership i have dealt with !

Have had 4new Kia’s from this garage with very good customer service.However y husband bought a new Kia in March 2024 on finance.He sadly passed away in October 2024, and I immediately took on the repayments.However Kia finance wouldn’t allow this and said I had to re finance at double the repayments or trade the car in which I wasn’t prepared to do.Even. Though Eastbourne Kia had initiated the finance they didn’t help me in any way.After months of being harassed by Kia at avery sad time, I paid the remaining sum off, but felt it was very unjust as I had continued the repayments every month.Kia Eastbourne need to point this out to any buyer using finance as it was never explained to us despite Kia at Eastbourne knowing my husband was seriously ill.Very upsetting and disappointing as we had always had a good relationship with this garage

Just tried to park at their Kia Eastbourne branch. After driving around the large car park not one space available. Full of new cars, used cars, cars waiting to be serviced and staff cars. It isn’t rocket science - inadequate customer parking results in unhappy customer experience. A designated parking area for the sales department’s customers clearly signposted should be available. I couldn’t find a space on the industrial estate either as every space was taken. Hopeless location. No new Kia for me!

Got to say so pleased with this garage we lived 3 hours away dealt with mathew sale to do a deal on kia ceed gt line from start to finish great service drove down Saturday to pick car up and it was just as described mathew great job highly recommend this garage tha ks again mark

I'd definitely recommend Birchwood Kia Chichester to friends and family because the service was 11 out of 10. David was polite, helpful and understanding that I needed the car for a certain day. He made sure everything was ready for that day.

I recently purchased a new car from the Washington branch of the Birchwood Group and couldn’t have been happier with both the car and customer experience provided by this dealer.
The Sales Executive (Matthew Hemingway) was both knowledgeable and attentive without being pushy which isn’t always the case under these circumstances.
I’m sure the after sales support, servicing etc will to the same high standard as retail side of the business.
