Binance.us is the worst platform to use to trade cryptocurrencies. This website stole my funds, blocked my access to their online chat service to avoid answering me, and blocked my whole account without any reason. Stay away from this platform if you want to keep your funds safe. Binance.US agents are too rude and do not solve the issues. Horrible support
Horrible support. It’s as if they know there’s a problem with withdrawing funds that have been cleared, but won’t release them until you send them an email. Then, a couple days later, they will respond to your email with a completely obvious rationalization, and condescending answer. By this time though, the problem has been resolved. They are condescending, completely irrelevant, and straight up lie to customers. Absolutely atrocious company. I would stay far away from them.

I've submitted the following complaint to Plaid which is the company that allows binance.us to link automatically to banks:
Hello, I'd like to report fraudulent activity by one of the merchants Plaid is partnered with. Binance.us accepted my deposit of 10,000 USD and then refused to allow me to transfer those deposited funds back to the account from which they were deposited. I was fully verified on their platform until I deposited, at which point they removed my verification and refused to transfer the funds back to the original bank account.
Plaid should consider the liability involved in partnering with companies that have a reputation of engaging in illegal practices. Binance.US is currently being investigated by US enforcement agencies. It is surprising that Plaid would partner with a company under criminal investigation. Does Plaid not vet their partners?
Says I am 'not verified."
I have had an account for a couple of years and never had trouble sending them funds or signing in. when I went to withdraw funds they tell me I am "not verified." No apparent way to verify and ZERO response from the support group on how to verify. Just auto email replies to me. They are totally unresponsive to anything. Unlike others here I can still get into my account to see it, they just won't let me do anything with it. I only hope that you do not get involved with them.
Inept morons
They screwed up their plaid integration so the only option to hook up a bank account is through manual verification of microcharges.
Then I completed their advanced verification and their UI showed that I should be able to deposit up to $1M USD. However, I was unable to deposit even $40K in USD -- they were still enforcing a $1K USD deposit limit.
Their chat and customer support are unreachable.

This is the worst exchange in the world. I sent my USDT (5 figures) in Polygon format from my Ledger just to convert to ERC-20 and send out. They blocked it for no reason. I can't send it out. Their online chat has been unresponsive for 24. E-mail gets an automatic response and NO ACTION. When this saga is eventually resolved, I will close the account for ever. I'm actually thinking of getting my lawyer involved if this is not resolved in one week.

god awful. You WILL encounter problems with withdrawls, not getting confirmation emails, etc and customer support is absolutely non-existent. They can take WEEKS to get back to you!!! That is insanity. Never using Binance.US again. Much better experience on Coinbase.

Do not use this platform. If anything goes wrong, they do not have phone support, charge outrageous fees, and any simple requests to gain their trust, they will tell you they can’t do it because it’s “too tedious” for them.
Poor Customer Service & Time Consuming Verification Process
In November 2022 I created an account with Binance.US. It took a little over two months for the account to be approved. It was in review for a long time. Unfortunately I missed a big part of the Bitcoin bear market lows!!!! I provided Binance.US with everything except for my DNA!!! Copies of my tax returns, Paystubs, Bank statements, Utility bills, Drivers license, date of birth, Social Security and several other documents. The fact that it took a long time bothered me, but I understand that Binance.US was just doing their best to know their client (KYC), and comply with regulatory requirements. I respect that aspect of Binance.US.
What really bothered me is that I linked a bank account to my Binance.US trading account and successfully processed two small purchases. Specifically, I purchased $55 dollars worth of Bitcoin and $55 dollars worth of Ethereum. I had no issues with the first two purchases. I was just testing things out. When I tried to process a third purchase, the third purchase failed. I waited for a bit and tried a few more purchases, and all of them failed. I linked another bank account because I thought that there might be an issue with the first bank account that I linked, but the second bank account also failed. I waited a few days and had the same issue.
My account was locked out and frozen. I contacted the online customer support team to see what I was doing wrong. I just wanted to invest a little more money. My two small purchases triggered a fraud alert and freeze on the account. It took about an hour for that to be figured out. I spent several hours working with the online customer support team. Fortunately, I was participating in an all day online training seminar. That is the only reason why I was able to spend so much time online going back and forth with the customer support team.
I basically had to go thru another verification process, which will take about 7 more days!!! I had to provide my drivers license again, take a video selfie and provide recent bank statements for the two banks that I used when trying to buy crypto using Binance.US.
I went thru four customer service representatives!! The first one cut me off after about an hour as he had to go to lunch and transferred me to someone else. I had to rewrite all the text messages over again to re-explain the issues that I was having. After about 40 minutes the 2nd rep told me that he would have to transfer me to another department as they would be able to help me. After another 30 minutes the account set up rep (i.e., 3rd rep) told me that he would have to transfer me to the fiat division! It was about three hours of back and forth, and research. I was providing them with screenshots of the error messages that I was getting, and they kept performing research on their end. After all the work and effort my issue still has not been resolved!!! The 4th rep told me that it would take about another 7 days to review my account again. This is after I provided them with my video selfie, drivers license and bank statements!
The only reason why I have not closed out my account with Binance.US is because I have already invested so much time (over two and a half months) to set up the account, and provided so much sensitive and confidential information, and data that I don't feel comfortable with closing the account with so much of my sensitive information being stored in Binance.US servers. This is the only reason why I am still doing business with Binance.US. I don't want this to have all been a total waste of my time.
I should have gone with Gemini or Coinbase. I am very unhappy with Binance.US. Their customer service team is not well trained, and you have to spend too much time trying to get issues resolved. It's weird that fraud alerts get so easily triggered when you are trying to purchase crypto. Just imagine trying to withdraw crypto.
If you decide to do business with Binance.US, keep in mind that you could run into many issues. One being not being able to buy crypto using their exchange platform because you are constantly being audited, and fraud alerts are easily triggered by you investing with bank accounts that you set up and link to Binance.US. That is what I find most troubling. I linked a bank account to my Binance.US account, and successfully processed two transactions. Why would ongoing, recurring transactions be flagged as suspicious! Does not make any sense to me, and none of the reps could explain that. I wanted to make sure that I process things to conform with whatever procedures Binance.US has in place. But they can't even articulate what they need from me to avoid any ongoing disruptions.

Less than 1 star. After accepting $9,000 dollars and my purchase of Bitcoin they locked my account and asked for a video of me holding my drivers license 5 times and copies of my bank statements plus the front and back of my drivers license. After I did this several times they totally locked my out of my account, so I assume now that they have all my information and my bitcoin their going to try and steal my identity. I'm going to have to close my checking account and pay for identity protection.

I could never imagine any crypto exchange, or in fact any business entity, as worst and inefficient as Binance.US. I have been trying to get my locked money out from them for past 3 months now - more than a dozen reminders on the support ticket over a period of 3 months ! Nothing has worked. Their online support folks would say some one will work on it and I would get a resolution on the email support ticket . This has never happened. And my account continued to be disabled leaving me no way to withdraw my balance and close the account!

This is a horrible site with little security.
It seems you can not change email addresses. Once you bind your SSN to an email it is impossible to change the email address. This is a huge security risk and so I do not use that email and now who knows what they will do with the account as I can not access it. Please understand I do not want to use this service I am just worried that my information is compromised on their system as I have lost control of the account email which is tied to my SSN.
Not sure what else to do other than try and figure out how to contact an attorney or someone that is able to communicate with this company. GOOD THING I DID NOT USE THIS EXCHANGE!
