I am disappointed.

The order processing and email response times are extremely slow. However, the customer service quality control department resolved my issue immediately when my parcel was delivered to the wrong address.

Very poor customer experience

Very poor customer experience. Can't choose shipping method. Expensive item (2000€) sent internationally via Deutsche Post instead of carrier. After 7 days still no sign of package.

Six-year customer — order arrived in unacceptable condition, refund from earlier order still outstanding

I have been a Bike24 customer for over six years and this is the first time I am writing a public review. Two unresolved issues across recent orders:

Order 226596980 — handlebars arrived in a box that had clearly been previously opened. User manual missing. Most of the supplied hardware does not match what should ship with this product, and the computer mount hardware is missing entirely. As delivered, the item is not usable. The combination of opened packaging, missing manual and incorrect hardware raises a legitimate question as to whether this was sold to me as new but had in fact been previously opened or returned. The brake set in the same order also arrived with a disconnected line and brake fluid leaked inside the packaging — I absorbed that one and bled the system myself, but it points to a pattern.

Order 226452024 — item SRA520787 was returned to Bike24 several weeks ago using their own prepaid return label. The refund has still not been processed. The returned item was unused, unopened.

I have raised both issues with customer service directly and am awaiting a response. I will update this review based on how Bike24 handles the resolution. After six years and significant spend, I expected better.

Returns from certain countries are first collected and then shipped together to Germany. Some packages wait several weeks to be forwarded. Delivery time

I love you're wide specter of products and prices but shipping takes too long. You used to have fast delivery which was awesome but waiting for 6-10 working days is too much.

Bought a wetsuit that was on sale

Bought a wetsuit that was on sale, received the package very fast but item had a small cut in it so contacted customer service. Got a fast reply that I could return the item and get a full refund or keep it as it was the last one in stock and instead get a discount on my purchase and some wetsuit neopreen glue which was a nice gesture. I can recommend bike24

Started using GLS, big no for me

Unfortunately Bike24 started sending shipments via GLS, with whom I have had several horrible experiences the last months. DHL or DPD can deliver shipments from Germany to The Netherlands in 2-3 working days, GLS takles 4-6 working days (if the package is going to arrive at all, which with GLS is about a 50/50 chance in my previous experience). My package hasn't moved for two working days now, somewehere in Germany. My next order will be with Bike-Discount, who use DHL.

Best bike shop ever

This is the Online-Shop where people not only do their work well but they care about theirs customers!
I’ve ordered a helmet for me and wrote in addition a email asking to deliver it to me as soon as possible (as we are having a family biking weekend). And you know what - the helmet was delivered in unbelievable short terms to Switzerland, even a couple of days earlier than I’ve asked! Thank you very much for that
And as well with the great service and support from the team you receive better price. Sincerely recommend to make shopping here

Shipping is very expensive

Shipping is very expensive, more over they use DHL, that always reports your parcel to customs so DHL could charge there part.
Not all products are shipped to Canada.

I completely understand that you find the shipping costs too high, and I apologise for that. In fact, we aim to keep shipping costs as low as possible. However, the current economic situation has also led to increased transportation costs. Unfortunately, this means we have had to raise our shipping rates.

Additionally, every package shipped from Germany to Canada must go through customs. This cannot be bypassed and every shipment must be declared to customs.

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship all items to Canada. Such restrictions are generally the result of strategic decisions made by Bike24 brand management. Please visit the manufacturer’s website for more information. You will usually find information there regarding distribution to your desired destination country.

Worst online shopping in recent years

I needed some parts to arrive in two to three weeks time. In my opinion plenty of time for anything to arrive from Germany to Croatia (read: inside EU). After two weeks of waiting the parts werent even shipped and I found a better deal with my local shop since I needed my bike ready for a long bikepacking trip.
I couldn'd cancell the order anymore and wrote several emails stating that I don't need the parts anymore and for the order to be cancelled and got nothing but generic bot answers from the customer service. After three weeks they finaly sent the parts that are (probably?) on their way. Parts that I no longer need.
Absoulute worst online shopping experience I had in recent years. I would have a better time ordering bike parts on Temu.

When you placed your order, you were shown an estimated delivery time of up to 11 working days. This means that your parcel should be delivered by 26th of May at the latest (taking public holidays into account within this period).

Due to our automated logistics processes, subsequent cancellations or changes to orders after they have been placed are generally not possible.

In the event of an unwanted order, you can simply refuse to accept the parcel or return it and/or parts of the order to us free of shipping costs using the return label. Once the return has been processed, your money will be refunded automatically and you can place a new order directly if required.

Worth the wait

Hi,
I made an order on 29th of April.
There was delay with the dispatch, but the Bike24 team helped with accurate information on all my questions. Got proper tracking info and expect to receive it on 21st of May. Hey, the support team gets paid whether they're supportive or not

Could not get an order through due to consistent showstopper errors on their shopping cart. I asked for help completing the order and instead was made to go through a chain of troubleshooting steps for alternate ways to trick their shopping cart, which all failed & were documented with screenshots. Rather than help the customer make the order, was told "I can therefore only assume that the error lies on your end". As someone who has been head of customer & technical support at a business, I can say unequivocally that this is a terrible attitude to have in customer support - terrible for the customer and terrible for the goals of an honest business. They've solved neither the problem of getting the order through, nor uncovering & addressing the bug in their system (because, of course, if different use cases than mine can order successfully, it must mean there is no bug, merely PEBCAK /sarcasm).

Completely disorganized delivery and lack of communication

I ordered a bicycle saddle and bicycle oil on 28/04/2026, and at the time of purchase the delivery time was stated as 4 to 8 days. Today, after 20 days, I still have not received the product. According to the order tracking, the parcel was supposedly handed over to Croatian Post on 06/05/2026, but I was officially informed by them that the parcel was not actually received, only a notification was created. This means that no one currently knows where my shipment is, neither the seller nor the post office.

I am extremely disappointed, not only because of the delay, but also because of the complete lack of serious and responsible communication from your side. I sent emails and called the customer service, but nobody responds to my inquiries. I have paid for the goods, but have not received them, and you act as if this were some minor issue that will sort itself out. I do not accept that responsibility is being shifted from one party to another, while my money is being held without any clear information about whether I will even receive anything.

I expect to be treated seriously as a customer, rather than being forced to chase answers that you should be providing yourself. For now, I cannot recommend this store to anyone until you handle such situations in a proper and professional manner.

Really good selection of items

Really good selection of items that are actually in stock. Price is also very good. They have tools that are produced and sold in my country and they're cheaper here than directly from the manufacturer.
