Beyond Words is my preferred photography bookseller
I have been using Beyond Words for several years as my preferred photography book seller. It helps they stock books covering photographers I am interested in, especially Michael Kenna's work (and his calendars). Over the years, I know that the proprietor, Neil, does a good job to update me about the status of my orders especially if there is a delay from suppliers. Highly recommended.

Excelent service, with prompt, clear and friendly response to all the inquiries I made. The books I ordered were very carefully packaged, this avoided the bent covers and damaged corners and etc that many times happen to this kind of (photography/arts) books with less careful dealers. The collection offered is very varied and very interesting. Will buy again, in spite of having to put up with the UK to EU price differences and customs delays&hassle.

Helpful and honest
I bought a photobook from Beyond Words which initially said in its description that it was signed by the photographer. Turns out they didn't have a signed copy left so they messaged me to ask if I still wanted the book or a refund. I really appreciated them reaching out and for being honest and as I like to support small businesses I accepted the order and was very happy with their customer service and the book itself. I would definitely recommend this bookshop and I would imagine I'll be shopping there again.
