Top notch service
I called to ask for advice and was put through to Dean. He spent a good 20 minutes, with no certainty of me placing an order, going over every detail of my project. Then, after all this he gave me a very good price for my choices. Delivery was timely and with good email communication.
Excellent customer service. I will definitely be using these guys again.

No info on oder 2 weeks after placing it despite 4 to 7 days delivery as standard. No updates, plants only sent after I called the office. I wouldn’t order again from them.

Very poor delivery experience
This is an update on a previous review where I reported a poor delivery experience of the plants I had ordered.
As a result of that review, Best4hedging contacted me and promised to take the matter up with DPD. They offered to replace any of the plants which were damaged and which may fail as a result of the boxes not being kept in an upright position by the courier. They also sent me a complimentary gift of a packet of biofertiliser. I have improved the star rating because of their responsive customer service, but am reserving judgement on the echinacea as they look quite damaged so I am not sure that they are going to thrive.
PREVIOUS REVIEW: My order was delivered by DPD and the standard of care was very poor. The delivery agent stood outside my house and flung the parcels onto the ground (this was captured on the video doorbell) even though the boxes had green arrows on the side stating that the contents were live plants and the box should be kept upright. When I opened the box I found that the plants and soil had fallen out of the pots and some of the plants were damaged. I have spoken to best4hedging and they have offered to replace any items that fail to thrive after planting in the garden so at the moment I cannot comment on the standard of the plants.

Very Disappointing!
I ordered 3 packs of "colourful mixed garden plant collection 2L pots x 16", 48 plants in total.
The listing stated that you were likely to get 2 of each plant from a list of 8 different hardy perennials and grasses.
Unfortunately, I only received a selection of 4 different plants, 18 of which were Carex pendula. If you know anything about Carex pendula, then you know that it is extremely invasive!
Whilst I was offered 8 alternative replacements, they were badly damaged in transit.
Yet again I was sent replacements, and again, these arrived badly damaged and I was eventually refunded for 4 plants.
I didn't need to return the Carex pendula, but they went straight into the bin because I couldn't even give them away.
Despite this disapointing experience, Customer Services were very helpful, but the packaging and/or the courier company were a disaster for the plants.

Terrible quality of plants
Terrible quality of plants. I have asked for refund but I’m still waiting for a response. I have bought plants from hedges direct but never from best4hedging and never again.

Good sized plants.
