I purchased the HP Care Pack (1 year) in November but provided evidence that the Laptop was purchased and collected in January '26 so the warranty start date needed amending. To date I have had no response whatsoever to two online requests for assistance.

They have not fixed the problem, they promise to contact me on Friday last they did not. I tried to ring them on the number they gave me and after -2 attempts to ring them, no answers. I still have a laptop and printer that doesn’t work and wonder if I’ve been scammed.

technician. She explained at each stage the set-up process and was very patient when I went away to
follow her instructions.
Let's be honest, HP is all about maintenance & ink supply contracts by giving minimal information on print problems. This information is normally framed around, reboot, reset, & re-install. They've even pulled their "print doctor" software that resolved printing issues.
Yes, I paid to resolve my issue with my HP Officejet 250 mobile printer which will print from my mobile phone perfectly but not from my "State of the Art" Asus ZenBook? I was then taken through everything I'd already tried over the phone with a HP "Agent" to no avail. Now, in order to use my printer at home, MY work around is sending everything to my iPhone to print from there.
Net result, paying HP to talk you through everything you've already done is a waste of money!
Update.
I (quite rightly) called out HP & in so pointed out what I felt was wrong & a waste of money. In doing so, I have to be fair & catch them doing something right. Their decision to reimburse my costs (& not prompted by me) was very much appreciated & the right thing to do. Thank you HP.

I arranged a repair for my laptop after experiencing power issues. The agent on WhatsApp quickly arranged the repair for collection the next day. I was worried when the estimated return was stated as 2 weeks later but relieved to find the laptop delivered back home in working order just 2 days later! On this basis I would use this channel again to repair my HP Laptop.
I remain deeply suspicious that some code or other was sent to my printer to making stop working, just as I was apprised the time before when my previous model ceased to function.
I rang the helpline and got some assistance but had then to pay £25-ish for what I contracted for which was to get me printing.
Happy enough with the assistance but it took 2 hours and rather stressful as I know nothing (and want to know nothing) about tech.
In the end I was told my HP printer cartridge needed replaced as it was depleted. Yes, it was low but I have plenty experience of this. I had as the last thing printed before the error reports came instead was a lined and grayscaled document which was perfectly and uniforamlly represented. The error reports were perfectly printed too and did not refer to the cartridge. HP did not solve my issue as promised. Neither did it send me a cartridge to test its hypothesis but expected me to shell out £55 for a cartridge that might never perform or be useless to me thereafter, or cut my losses and just buy a new printer for £110. This is probably what's behind it all? I'm no green zealot, but so much for all the eco stuff when programmed redundancy is such a big thing across industries.

Website was easy to use when placing order and no issues with the product.
I contacted you regarding a catastrophic breakage in my laptop. My machine was out of warranty but the only way to get some support was to pay for a telephone call. The service was perfunctory at best and although he did connect with me live the scan quickly determined a problem where upon the adviser suggested using a local technician. The whole experience was disappointing and I was left without meaningful guidance or support. I then wrote to HPCase on 30 December but have had no acknowledgement . Bearing in mind i have had HP 3 laptops with HP and 5 printers for various businesses this I have found to be the worst customer care experience.

I extended my HP warranty without difficulty and it went through straight away. The new expiry date was shown on HP Support Assistant and I also received email confirmation.
