My wife and I bought a Super King zip …

My wife and I bought a Super King zip and link Grandeur bed, made by Relyon, cost £1400.
From day 1 it looks very used with massive dipping in the long length of both mattress.
After 4 days, after going back to the store , we were told to contact Customer services. A week later they advised us FIRA would visit. Another 2 weeks.
Guess what!! FIRA says bed is on limit of settlement but no manufacturer defects.
After 6 months ( in which time we have not slept on bed), Bensons offered is a more expensave bed.
However, bed is in Tewkesbury warehouse. If they deliver it and we cannot get on with bed, they want £760 to cancel the order. They will jot let us go to warehouse to try bed.
Everyone who has seen the bed says it's disgusting how we are being treated.
We would be more than happy to exchange our useless bed for an alternative within their store, but we do not find one that is suitable.
DO NOT BUY THIS TYPE OF BED. CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FIRA are NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE

Excellent help

Great help from Leila at the Colchester Branch today, as the decision of choosing the right bed which suited both me and the other half we felt was not going to be easy. But after having our body profile looked at on the bed station both our needs were met, Brilliant help from a knowledgeable staff member highly recommend this store

Unacceptable and inadequate customer service

Spent £2000 on a mattress. It arrived with a huge stain on it? Awful delivery team too who just dumped it where we did not want it. We were unsure if it was even brand new. I first emailed them on the 14-12-15 and dud to the horrific customer service it is still not resolved. I have accepted a voucher for £150 as I can't see an end and I now have a newborn. Avoid at all costs. I should have gone to dreams.

Pay for dissapointment

I am extremely dissapointed. Bought a bed with the mattress on new years eve. Closest delivery was 25 days later. On delivery day first off all van was late as they had an issues. When they finally arrived there was half of the bed missing. Drivers were confused as they thought to give us another mattress that was size too small. Ive accepted the base but still had to contact customer cervices to see what was happening. After 2 days of phone calls and discussions they said that they have to reorder. Now 2 weeks later i have no news about the mattress. That is discusting services and disrispect to the customer. Would not suggest to shop with this company - Definatelly not worth it!!!!!!

happy

I went into your Blackburn store only looking that day on meeting the lady she made me feel welcome from start to finish and walked out with a new bed. So happy with it and now love going to bed. Outstanding service and would recommend to others to pop in and see the lady in Blackburn. Fab service from the delivery men.

Polite staff, but very poor service delivery

bought an Airflow 2000 bed with memory foam mattress on 14 Oct. It was delivered on 30 October. By mid November I still couldn't use it because the chemical spay used on the mattress was so overwhelming. Customer service staff were very polite and we agreed to exchange the mattress. After numerous telephone calls, today 3 December I have been informed that the new mattress will arrive "sometime after Christmas" - which I assume will be January. Bensons has had my money since 14th October ! Sorry Bensons, but I cannot recommend you.

Dispcable After Sales Service

We bought a Benson for beds Super King Divan and Mattress for £1200.00 after only 7 months the Memory foam collapsed leaving huge craters in both sides of the bed and a huge lump in the middle.

Benson were rude on the phone when we rang to tell them about it. The store would only divert us back to there customer support line.

We provided photographs showing how bad the bed was and stated we were not happy and the bed was not fit for purpose.

Bensons for Beds sent a Fira inspector out who lay on the bed for a couple of seconds in my crater, bounced up and down. Then told us that the bed was fine and that none of the pockets were damaged.

Evidently the bed is not fine as you can no longer roll over as you are stuck in a rut. and the is a HUGE mound in the middle of the bed.

There are thousands of complaints of the same nature on the Benson for beds Sydney Bed online and all customers are having exactly the same issues and been given the run around.

Those that scream loudest seem to get there 1200.00 bed replaced. But Fira did an inspection on our Bed by giving it a 2 minute massage.

Benson's for beds rang us a week later to smugly tell us they were not going to do anything with our bed as FIRA had said there was nothing wrong with it.

We now potentially are having to look at binning the £1200.00 mattress and having to spend the same again.

Its disgusting.

Only if you like sleeping on the floor!

7 years ago we bought a wooden framed bed from Bensons together with a Sealy Postureped Ultra mattress. They were not cheap .
After less than a year, the slatted base which supported the mattress collapsed. I went to the showroom where the assistant showed total disinterest. I contacted Bensons direct and finally received a new slatted base. However a year later as my wife sat on the edge of the bed the whole side gave way. It appeared that what looked like a solid side was pieced together with zig-zag joints and one of these had given way. Incidentally neither of us are of large build ( about 10 & 12 stone respectively) and as pensioners the bed did not have what could be called any "rampant" activities!
We could only consign the bed frame to the tip and buy a divan.
Meanwhile, the mattress has developed a central ridge to put the Pennines to shame and this now needs replacing.
