I ordered a shed in November 2022…

I ordered a shed in November 2022 ,conformation email of order then nothing.
Took it up with my Mastercard to be told I failed on fraud and know failed on a dispute case against it how can this company get away with this even the website didn't work for me with in 24 hours of the order.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.

I ordered chairs in March which I still have not received. I have tried phoning, emailing and even wrote a letter, and received no response.

Disgusting customer service I would never recommend Benhomes. Online my chairs still say soon in stock this has been since March. I just now want a refund

No one there

Ordered 4 dining chairs which were delivered promptly but 2 had defects and 1 was the wrong design. Emailed multiple times over the past 21 days and called 5 times but no one ever picks up the phone. Seeking refund via credit card company. Shame because the chairs are actually really beautiful!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ILLEGALLY WITHHOLD PEOPLE'S MONEY.
They are using false product images with a different more 'on trend' blue to the colour they're actually selling. When discovered I gave a fairly straight forward request for a refund, which was within the 14 days cooling off period. They stopped responding to me.

SOLUTION: I paid via debit card, and was able to use the chargeback service to get ALL MY MONEY BACK. Google your bank chargeback service and you will be able to do the same. DO NOT LET THEM KEEP YOUR MONEY.

As for this disgrace of a company and directors - I do not know what they hoped to gain here. They were NEVER keeping my money. Maybe they are banking on people who do not know about the Chargeback scheme for debit and credit card purchases. As I can see below a review of someone who gave up chasing them.

They are being reported to trading standards and a legal case is being built against the Directors. They will likely be banned from being Directors of a registered company and the company will be forced to shut down. I would advise you all to use the chargeback service and get your money back ASAP.

Avoid avoid avoid !!!!!
Terrible really , spent £600 on chairs in early June was told be deliver first week in august, that come and gone, called them four days in a row three times a day and no one answers the phone!!! Asked them to call me back on website and no response, emailed them twice and nothing back not even an automated response. Feeling very anxious as this is a lot of money for us , have now had to contact the credit card company to try and recover the money , waiting nervously!

Chair OK - however if you may need to return don’t bother

I ordered 1chair to check if it would fit and the quality. The chair was ok; seat hard and did not suit our table . I’ve emailed and called many times to try and organise a return . I received 2 emails back saying they could pick up am or pm the following day - I confirmed back immediately both times that I was at home . No surprise no one turned up to pick up . They do not accept returns by customers . Now I know why . So for the price the chair was ok, just not quite right for us . The customer service shocking - don’t believe they had any intention to collect the chair.

3 month wait for 6 dining chairs

Ordered 6 dining chairs, 2 were delivered straight away but I had to wait 3 months for the other 4
Terrible customer service, they stopped answering calls. Received various emails at different times with terrible excuses including blaming shipment on the Suez Canal twice.
They wouldn’t swap the chairs for some they had in stock because I had had the 2 chairs they had sent for over a month.
When I was finally given a delivery date 3 months later they only delivered 3 of the 4 chairs.
Would not recommend this company at all!
Using deck chairs for Christmas dinner is not ideal.

Never use

I ordered 4 dining chairs in May, which was then in-stock and even now. Soon after the order, I received an email saying 4 weeks delay. After 4 weeks they said another 4 weeks and it's 2 months now since I placed the order and there is no updates, no response to my emails, no one picks up the call. I would never ever recommend purchasing from Ben homes. Their service is horrific.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! Similar to other reviews, we have not received our chairs that we ordered back in November, had some communication in March but now no reply, no calls answered and left waiting. I suspect they may have gone bust but it’s disgusting how there is no communication at all! We spent £800 and I doubt we’ll get it back!

Great communication and beautiful product

I can’t rate Benhomes highly enough. My email query was answered almost immediately - over the weekend - and advice offered that lead to me ordering a chair which arrived beautifully packed 2 days later. The chair is beautiful.

Purchased 6 off dining chairs

Had an issue with the payment of the items initially after being charged twice, but the issue was resolved very quickly and the communication throughout was excellent.

Items received within 3 days in great condition, very happy with the purchase.

Poor communication

Not yet received order and never had a response to my emails. Phone number was not answered when I rang. I eventually spoke to someone very helpful on the live chat but I have never actually received any correspondence about my delivery being delayed.
I'm hoping to receive my chairs at the end of March.
I am not worried about the delay as I understand that due to covid there have been difficulties but the communication has been poor.

All went quite well...

There was a minor hold up with the order due to coronavirus but not too long to be fair. They answered my emails giving as much detail as possible and my items arrived well packaged and as described. Overall I'm very happy with the service
