In Out Job Done!

I've been with Benenden Health Care for over 21yrs. It's a joint membership and we have only used their services a few times. When we have used it its been brilliant and so easy to use. When I tell people the process they say "Sounds complicated or long winded" but I tell them that you soon get used to the system and it becomes second nature. My last use only took 24hrs to see the consultant. The offer of an operation was within two weeks. Great service and very pleased with the result.

I contacted Benenden Health via my app…

I contacted Benenden Health via my app and had treatment arranged for the same day. By being provided with such a fabulous service I was back to work a lot quicker than if I hadn’t used Benenden Health. I would highly recommend anyone to use this service.

An excellent service was provided from the time Benenden were contacted. Swift action was provided after receipt of approval letter and it is clearly understandable why so many thoroughly recommend Benenden to family and friends .

I have been a member of Benenden since…

I have been a member of Benenden since 1995 and used them infrequently
I have sent numerous e-mails over the past 2 days attempting to send the referral letter from my GP to no avail and I asked that a complaint (1) be raised however this issue remains unresolved. I will start again tomorrow
I was given the postal address to send my referral letter. I couldn’t believe that with all the technology today that they were unable to help me.

Several emails have been returned with a message saying they couldn’t be delivered and to check the email address I was using!!
I was given numerous links that didn’t work
I raised another complaint on 24/6 with the agent about my difficulties in contacting them advising, that had l felt pressured to close the complaint as in their view the issues were resolved.
I naively agreed to this. I advised that I would attempt again this morning

I wanted to review why I wasn’t sent an invitation to the AGM and was told that it is because I didn’t verify my contact details.
I never received any request to do so.
A very poor service to date
I am extremely frustrated / disappointed that the issue still remains unresolved.

We completely understand how disappointing this must feel, especially given the time you’ve spent trying to resolve the issue.

I got an appointment quickly with a wonderful doctor/consultant. I got an mri scan & examination & he was happy to refer me back to my GP

Access to advice online or over the…

Access to advice online or over the phone was very helpful.
The triage system was very thorough and once I finally got a response from my gp, which was the longest hold up, things went smoothly.

EXCEPTIONAL

Benenden Health is really exceptional. For a modest monthly premium, the service is so easy to use, and affords peace of mind and swift diagnosis and treatment (if eligible).

The customer service is excellent, empathetic and efficient.

Contacted them to cancel - no response

I have contacted them several times on the recommended email address to cancel this useless insurance plan (they never pay out, after 40 years paying in) and they ignore cancellation emails, what a surprise

NEVER EVER USE BENENDEN HEALTH

NEVER EVER USE BENENDEN HEALTH. My two last requests as a member of Benenden Health were rejected just because, and both rejections were expresed in quite a rude way. If you have a membership and you are not willing to go (and pay) private, forget about it.

Fantastic service

Fantastic service sent my doctors referral in one day and got a message back the next day saying I could book an appointment. The selection of places and doctors I could pick from was very helpful. Very fast service and was delighted that it was so easy to organise. Would definitely recommend to anyone
