Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re naturally disappointed to read your comments and feel it’s important to provide a fair and balanced account for the benefit of others.
Our holiday clubs operate from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and these hours are clearly communicated during the booking process and in all pre-arrival information. On the day in question, our team contacted you at 5:00pm—our scheduled closing time—to ask for your estimated arrival, and your child was collected at approximately 5:20pm.
While we understand that delays can occur, this was not an isolated incident. During our Easter holiday programme earlier this year, your child was collected around 5:45pm. These repeated late collections place additional pressure on our team, who have their own families, commitments, and contractual hours to honour.
You have suggested that we should offer flexibility to suit your working hours, noting that you finish work at 5:00pm. While we sympathise with the challenges working parents face, our organisation cannot extend its provision beyond the registered operating times. Our staff are not only educators and carers—they are individuals who also deserve certainty, boundaries, and time to rest and recharge after a full day of delivering high-quality childcare.
With regard to your other concerns, we take all feedback seriously. Toilets are checked regularly throughout the day, and any issues flagged in a respectful and constructive way are dealt with promptly. We are also confident in the professionalism and caring nature of our team, who consistently receive positive feedback from the families we serve.
We remain proud of the safe, enriching, and fun environments we provide across all of our venues and are always open to discussing concerns directly in a respectful and productive manner.
Kind regards,
Ben Mills
