Hello!
This is a scam of the highest level!
I bought an item on 2025-08-10 for 78kr.
I discovered today that for the last 3 months I have been charged 189kr for a membership I have never approved and was not aware of.
Do you have any documentation that proves that I accepted and committed to paying 189kr monthly for this membership?
Please immediately refund my Amex 189×3=567kr
Sincerely, Ove Olsson

I bought a couple of lip balms from these scammers and months later they charged me 14.95 and refused to refund it. I had to cancel my charge card but what a rip off. I am also mad at my bank for allowing this. Update: I have researched further. By law companies are not allowed to mislead you into purchases with small print. (I have demanded proof that I ever agreed to this in any way but they have not sent it). Secondly, vendors are required to confirm a purchase in writing / they never did. Third - if a consumer demands a refund within 14 days, the vendor is required to return the funds. I have lodged a complaint with the authorities and I recommend others do the same against this illegal practice. Search for degeschillencommissiezorg.

I too have experienced a charge of 189 sek. No response from bazta after 2 messages.
No response from customer support.
I have now understood that the charge is due to membership. No information in the order confirmation regarding membership fee. This is probably on purpose. The 1 star review still holds because this is really bad busniess practice and you know it.

It is not clearly stated on website about subscription! Scam! I’m really angry!
Unauthorized Charge
Unauthorized Charge of 189 SEK
Dear Bazta Support Team,
I am writing this as both a public review and a formal notice.
An unauthorized charge of 189 SEK was made from my bank account after a one-time purchase on your website. I was never informed that my order would include a recurring paid membership, nor did I give any explicit consent to ongoing payments.
Your checkout process fails to disclose any recurring subscription, which constitutes a violation of:
EU Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights (Articles 6–8),
Directive 2005/29/EC on Unfair Commercial Practices, and
The Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (2005:59).
When I contacted your support team, I was falsely told that I “actively accepted” the membership. I have full documentation and screenshots proving that no such consent was ever given.
This charge is therefore unauthorized and illegal. I have already cancelled any possible subscription from my side to prevent further misuse.
👉 If I do not receive a full refund of 189 SEK within five (5) business days, I will proceed with:
A formal complaint to Konsumentverket (Swedish Consumer Agency) and ECC Sweden (European Consumer Centre),
A chargeback request through Visa/Mastercard, and
Submission of all evidence to relevant EU authorities for deceptive e-commerce practices under EU Regulation 2018/302.
Please confirm the refund in writing.
unauthorized subscription and an illegal charge
Dear Bazta Support Team,
I am contacting you regarding an unauthorized subscription and an illegal charge of 189 SEK that occurred after a one-time purchase on your website. I was never informed that my order would include a paid membership, nor did I give any explicit consent to recurring payments.
This practice violates multiple EU and Swedish consumer protection laws, including:
Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights, Articles 6–8, which require traders to clearly inform consumers of all payment obligations and obtain explicit consent before charging.
Directive 2005/29/EC on Unfair Commercial Practices, which prohibits misleading omissions and hidden subscription models.
Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (2005:59), which enforces the same obligations for online traders selling to Swedish consumers.
Your website’s failure to disclose that a purchase triggers a recurring paid membership constitutes a misleading and unfair commercial practice under EU law. This may result in:
Administrative fines and public sanctions from the Swedish Consumer Agency (Konsumentverket) and the European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net),
Loss of your merchant account through Visa/Mastercard in case of multiple chargeback reports, and
Formal investigations into deceptive e-commerce practices within the EU Digital Services framework.
Therefore, I am formally demanding that you:
Cancel any existing subscription immediately, and
Refund the unauthorized charge of 189 SEK to the same payment method within five (5) business days.
If I do not receive written confirmation and a refund within the stated period, I will submit full documentation — including screenshots, invoices, and transaction details — to Konsumentverket, ECC-Net, Visa/Mastercard Fraud Department, and my bank for chargeback proceedings under EU Regulation 2018/302.
Please treat this as a formal notice before complaint submission.
You can find the copy of this latter at your e-post and answer there.
Best regards,
Alisiia

Scam website
Scam website – hidden subscription and unauthorized charges!
I made a purchase on BAZTA.com, thinking I was simply ordering a product. Shortly after that, my card started getting charged regularly under the name “Europe eCommerce”, even though I never signed up for any subscription or gave consent for recurring payments.
Their customer support does not respond to emails, and there is no clear information about subscriptions or cancellations on the website.
Update 14 oct 2025
BAZTA.com, your reply sounds like a generic template and judging by the many similar complaints from other customers on Trustpilot, I’m clearly not the only one who “missed” this so-called membership. If so many people are experiencing the same issue, maybe the problem is not with the customers but with how unclear and misleading your website information is.
To this day, I still have no idea what product or service this “subscription” is even for. That alone says everything about how hidden it is.
And no I will not contact your support again. I already did, several times, and received no reply at all. If you’re genuinely committed to “excellent customer service,” then respond to the existing emails in your inbox instead of sending canned apologies on public platforms.
Update 16 Oct 2025
Fortunately, I use Revolut, and they refunded all my money within just three days after I filed a complaint. Apparently, they also understand very well that Bazta.com is a scam website living off hidden subscriptions.
No one ever replied to my email to BAZTA.com support no response, no apology, no attempt to fix anything.
All their “polite” comments under reviews are just a show for the public.
In reality, they act as if nothing happened, as if everything is “completely legal,” and as if the customers are to blame for not noticing some hidden subscription.
BAZTA.com it’s a blatant scam!

I ordered on October 1st, and it was shipped from Denmark on October 3rd. Since then, there have been no tracking updates at all. I also sent an email but got no reply. Very poor communication — I still don’t know where my package is.
Update: I have received this order today, but email still not responding.

Be very careful with this one!
Like other customers I have been charged for a membership to which I did not subscribe. This is s SCAM! Avoid!
On complaining to AMEX,my card company, their investigators received info from bazta which looked completely legit but was nothing like the website I bought from.
They're based in Estonia, are run by Danes and have bank accounts in Dublin....does that sound like a genuine business? No? It ain't.
