Part of order was out of stock.
Bax just pushed order forward 2 times.
I had paid in advance which was a huge mistake.
I got no answers whatsoever from customer service.
Had to threaten with police to get in contact and my money back.
This is not a functioning company as far as I saw.

Big warning

Big warning

Big warning

I returned my Fender strat due to a repair issue. It was completely dent free. However when it came back it was a huge cut on the short side of the body. And the cardboard box wasn't damaged so it has happened at Bax. I've been meticulously careful with this guitar and I've only used it at my home.

I will give you a follow up on this case.

Warranty returns for repair

I have bought a few things from Bax Music & all has gone well until I needed to return an item under warranty.
I started the process on 07/12/2024 & I am wrighting this review on 01/04/2025.
1st they charged me £20 to return a faulty item, then after I paid the money & received the invoice I then got an email saying the return had been cancelled as I had not responded in time (I paid within 48hrs of receiving the payment link)
After long waits in telephone queues & long conversations with customer services I got the return reinstated & they sent me over the return label & instructions.
The instructions stated I needed to put my completed return form in the package. I hadn't been sent this.
Another long call to customer services I finally got the return form emailed to me.
I packaged up the item back into its original packaging along with all the accessories & sent it off on 27/12/2024. So far the process had taken 20 days through no fault of my own.
I waited a couple of weeks which they tell you the return process could take but I heard nothing from Bax so it was another lengthy call to customer services who told me that the package I sent to Kent then gets processed & sent to Holland for assessment & repair & this could take another couple of weeks.
On 27/01/2025 I finally received an email from customer services to say my item had been received by the repair centre in Holland & how much they would charge me before they sent it back if they couldn't find a fault. It is now 01/03/2025 I I have still had no other communication from the repair centre or customer services. I tried to phone today but all I got was an automated message saying they were closes even though It was well inside the advertised customer service hours.
I have sent an email to customer services asking for an update (I have done this before but had no response.
I will update this review once I get some sort of response out of them.
My advise is avoid buying anything from this company that you may need to return under warranty at some point

Stay clear of this company if you know…

Stay clear of this company if you know what's good for you, don't get me wrong they have a good selection of gear but if you need to return or exchange anything then just say goodbye to your money, this is by far the worse customer service I have ever dealt with, had to raise a claim with my bank as they now just ignore me.

Order not received

Ordered a modular case and received order confirmation immediately. After a few weeks I emailed them to ask whether they had problems with the shippment (item was listed as in stock) but I neither received the item nor did I get a shipping confirmation. They answered that they had delays of 2 months, which they did not deem important enough to tell me without me asking. Well delays can happen, so I decided to wait the two months. One week after the given due date I received from the company (2 months after the initial order) I emailed them again asking for the status and received a very similar answer again. Shipping problems and again I should wait 2.5 more months. Why does this company not communicate such information with customers from themselves? I cancelled all pending orders and will not buy there again. It feels very suspicious and a very bad communication & customer support.

My first time using Bax

My first time using Bax, I got my daughters first synth for her birthday (The DATO Duo), which is a big deal. I ordered on the 28th of Nov. using the Black Friday sale. A few in stock. Her birthday was on the 7th of Dec. Plenty of time according to delivery 2-3 working days on the website.
I am still waiting for the tracking to be even updated. Item advised since the 29th of November. I took my daughter for dinner as a present and I'm crossing my fingers so it could be her Christmas present now.
Bax if you are reading this. make amends, and make a little girl happy for Christmas.

Bax Music - False Marketing

Bought a b-stock guitar + gigbag. Ad said manual and allen key was missing, nothing else. When arrived gigbag was not included? On complaint of incomplete order I recieved a rude response; "You want to return..." Bax Music is not a serious player, instead of taking responsibility for their own mistakes, they blame the customer! Lousy!

Bax Music service is a disaster

Bax Music service is a disaster, with errors at every step and no real attempt to fix them. After endless miscommunication, I received a damaged package with missing parts. They admitted fault but refuse to honor their promises to fix them.

I've endured weeks of circular conversations, broken promises, and blatant disregard for their own policies. Don’t make the same mistake—shop elsewhere and save yourself the headache.

Warning to all customers!

Warning to all customers: Do NOT shop at Bax Music, they're not a serious company and will make it difficult to solve any errors that may (and probably will) arise at delivery/return.

After two delays and lots of communication errors with Bax Music support/DHL, I finally received my delivery. Packaging was subpar, with items loose and pieces of broken styrofoam everywhere. On top of that, half of the items of the desk I ordered was missing.

Bax Music admitted this was their fault (after many e-mails back and forth), and that I could return the item for free and receive a refund. Due to the weight of the package (31 kg), they promised to send someone to pick up my package. According to Bax Music, they do this if an item weighs more than 25 kg.

"Good" I thought. I'm not able carry it to a drop of point doe to a back injury, and the package doesn't fit in my car.

First promised date: No pick up.
Second promised date: No pick up.

I get an e-mail, Bax Music has decided to not pick up the item. The first person I call hangs up in the middle of conversation. The second person leaves a message to administer a pick up.

At this point, knowing the MO of Bax's support, I'm either expecting a reponse where they refuse to pick it up again (in contradiction with their own regulations ) or a new support employee forcing me into another round of copy + paste of earlier conversations with screenshots of their apologies, admittances, and broken promises.

Why? Because I've already endured weeks of exactly that.

All of this so that Bax Music can get their useless pieces of PVC wood back and issue a refund. And I'm using the word "useless" here in its proper sense: there is not even a remote possibility of assembly with so many items missing.

No one in their right mind would knowingly purchase such a sorry mess, so either they're gonna get the items back and pull this scheme on someone else, or willfully draw this process out until I'm not eligible for a refund.

I'm guessing they're gonna respond to this review the same way they do to others: lie. Perhaps they'll say all the items in the product ad was in the package (althought they have already admitted it isn't so), or that I have to take the item to a dropoff point—even though this isn't possible due to weight and size. In fact, they told me two times pick up was booked, before changing their minds: changing their minds not to follow their own policy.

I'm not exaggerating when I'm saying the back and forth with this company have given me stomach ulcers: it is truly a process worthy of being called a "Kafkaesque nightmare". For the sake of your own health, do not shop at Bax Music. Let people you know not to buy anything from Bax Music.

Squeeling pickups

The guitar is ok built, feels a little cheap but that’s to be expected. The biggest issue with this guitar is that the pickups squeel really bad with the slightest bit of gain. It was so bad i couldn’t use it in a real amp at all. I sent the first example back to Bax Music and they sent me another example they claim had been tester before leaving the warehouse but it had the exact same squeeling problem. I dunno if it’s because the pickups are not wax potted or because of crapy electronics but this issue renders the guitar practically useless. It’s a shake because it ruins what could be a decent guitar. I would also prefer a pickguard on this guitar, after market ones do not fit and Bax never got back to me if they have any.

I would save the money or buy something else, no more Fazley’s for me.

Total waste of Time 😢

Hi All. Received guitar with a very good service to the door. BUT on opening Wrong Guitar similar model Tele copy totally different finish to the one I ordered .Company Fault No 1 finally got through to customer service after a few attempts and a long wait for the usual All lines are busy now please hold .does this suggest a LOT of unhappy Customers.

Although I sent a online email and photos of the wrong guitar before the phone call with no response at all.
So my view on this situation is ..No 2 is that this guitar will do it's similar 🤣 send it anyway 🤭
No 3 now I have the inconvenience of it's return
By the way it is a nice guitar for your Money
But it's still the wrong item .so it's down to me to deal with it..so in my opinion this inconvenience is the result of Bax's Incompetence in quality Control with regards to customers ordered items.this so called mistake will always fall onto the shop floor staff shame😡
