Not that impressed with the mystery box.
The fat quarters were of poor quality and for me unusable
The rest of the box – pins, safety pins, a roller, some needles etc we're not that impressive
So, I regret to say that for me the mystery box was a fail

Ordered the mystery box and it is excellent value. It contained a huge amount of stuff including a box of aurifil neutrals. As I had also ordered a slightly different box of Aurifil separately I thought they had sent me the wrong item. On contacting them they confirmed that my other threads were being sent separately and this is part of my mystery box. Absolutely delighted and posted very quickly. Have used before and would highly recommend

I always get good service from this company and I enjoy Jon’s jokes in the newsletter. The mystery box was great. I received lots of goodies that were very welcome.

My order was despatched immediately it was placed and the contents of my mystery box, were incredible as well as being at a higher value than expected. So many things I use all the time as well as some new ones to me, which I will certainly try out.

Barnyarns are a great company , massive selection of craft / sewing needs , most important thing is if you get a problem they are very happy to help . I had an issue sewing with metallic threads ,Jon went out of his way to help me resolve my problem . If you subscribe to their emails they give you sewing techniques as well as all the latest products and offers . ( also Jon includes a joke each time , funny sense of humour 😂 )

Purchased 2 mystery boxes and I’m over the moon with the contents. There isn’t 1 item that I won’t use.

The mystery box was well worth the money. Very useful equipment for quilting. One item duplicated - clips to hold the seams in place.

Easy to use website, good communication and prompt delivery

I've just taken delivery of a couple of the Mystery Boxes (1 Embroidery and 1 Quilting) that were half-price for a short period. They both contained a lot for the money. I had a few of the items already, however, it was great to have several of the other items I would not normally have bought and I'm looking forward to projects I can use them for.
Delivery was actually really quick (it hasn't been in the past), literally a few days. I'm very happy with my mystery purchases.

Barnyarns stocks a wide range of items for happy sewing. I use them all the time for my thread needs, in particular, woollen thread for sewing wool applique. Their service is first rate, reasonably priced and prompt deliveries can be relied on.

Well hopefully I’ll love my mystery box items. I gave the unopened box to my husband to use as my advent calendar!

It was a good variety of items but I'm glad I didn't pay £50 for it ... £25 was sort of OK but £20 would have been better, considering I was helping them clear deadstock items.
