Tried to buy a refurbished phone for my partners birthday. She chose the colour, Coral. Order confirmed. Imagine her disappointment on opening the box to find they,d sent black. Tried to contact them, the web site phone no. doesn,t work and the reply to my email was in French. Trying to contact them through the order acount you end up with a chatbot that does not answer your questions. Can,t recommend this company.

​I ordered a Samsung Galaxy S24 FE on Back Market and it has been a complete nightmare from start to finish. The first phone arrived faulty with a broken fingerprint scanner and blank APN settings. I spent my own money on bus fares into town and printing return labels to send it back. After nearly two weeks of waiting, the replacement arrived, except the seller sent an overseas US model! It wouldn't update software properly and had blank APN settings again.
​I asked to exchange it for a proper UK model, but the seller refused and forced a refund. Because of this, I lost my £15 introductory voucher. To make matters worse, because this ordeal has dragged on for a month, I am now on the verge of losing my entire phone backup on Samsung Cloud due to their 30-day deletion limit. I am facing the loss of my personal data purely because of Back Market’s seller failures.
​On top of all that, Back Market has repeatedly broken its guaranteed 24-hour response time. I was left waiting 3 days for a return label, offered an insulting 5% gesture, and now support has gone completely silent and ignored my messages for days. I've been sent faulty goods twice, I'm out of pocket on expenses, I lost my discount code, I'm facing total data loss, and customer service has left me stranded. I want Back Market management to reach out and fix this properly.

Swift delivery, good range of products, fair prices. This is the second time I have bought a phone from them, the first being 5 years ago, and I’m hopeful this one will last and perform as well as the first.

First phone l received from back market had to be returned as faulty immediately.

I was issued a replacement.

After having phone for 3 months, stopped working- faulty with black screen x2 occasions first time had to fully restore to restart second time was not repairable using Apple guidance, screen remains black will not turn on.

Apparently they are going to repair or replace which leaves me without phone for repair period and l have no confidence this will be end of issues.

I will not use this company again.

I bought a Garmin watch and battery ran down immediately. I returned it and got a full refund.
