Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 124 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Consumers face endless frustration navigating the poorly designed website and clumsy mobile application, frequently experiencing severe technical errors and endless login lockouts. Many desperate buyers waste several hours trying to secure tickets while the flawed system incorrectly mistakes them for automated bots during checkout. Reaching out for assistance is equally painful because customer service representatives remain completely unresponsive or unavailable to speak with users. Some reviewers were happy with the platform, mentioning that certain initial orders and direct ticket purchases proceed quite smoothly without experiencing unexpected technical trouble.

So frustrating

So frustrating. Various tries to get onto the site, texts from them, then re-did password and still have "restricted access" to buy tickets. I'll just give up as I have toggled this and that and gone through all the ideas offered online. So no Sandringham Show for me.

Would give it 0 stars if I could.

Would give it 0 stars if I could.
Got sold a resale ticket that clearly stated it was Early Entry Golden Circle but when the tickets came through it wasn’t. Official resale through the AXS website. Got told my customer service, they don’t verify the information the seller puts up for the ticket so could lie about the details and also increase the value of the ticket. Customer service also said they can’t do anything about it as no records are kept. Honestly a scam

One star because I can't give zero stars!!!!

The only reason this excuse of a company is getting one star is because I can't give it zero. They make Ticketmaster look professional, words i never thought i'd utter! Tried to get Olivia Dean tickets for my daughter. We tried on three different wifi networks and three different 5g networks between us. On about 6 occasions we had tickets in our basket, went through the payment process only to be told there was a problem with our payment method. We used 4 different credit cards so there clearly wasn't. We kept seeing tickets popping up, putting them in our basket and then getting a message that tickets werent available! To make matters worse I lost count of the times I had to verify I was a human being and yet after about 5 attempts to find tickets it would throw me out saying they were trying to prevent bots! I'm not, I'm a dad trying to buy a ticket for my daughter. I've no issue with trying to stop bots but this is just embarrassing from AXS. The most frustrating and unpleasant experience I've had in a long time. Like Ticketmaster they don't care about the buying experience for customers, it's all about the money. I don't know the name of the AXS CEO but he should be marched out of their HQ by security with his belongings in a shoebox. Incompetent is too kind a word for this shambles.

Worst ticket buying process

This was the worst ticket buying process that I've ever attempted. Phoebe Bridger pre-sale became unwieldy and prohibitively convoluted very quicky. Despite signing up and following the process and waiting patiently I got removed from the waiting room with no way of gaining readmission.

This app and website seems to have been designed with the intention to upset.

Thanks AXS.

You're abysmal.

I purchased tickets through go tickets…

I purchased tickets through go tickets and they were transferred to AXS. I am 10 hours now trying to even get logged in so not holding out hope of ever getting my tickets . The site and app is awful, the worst I’ve experienced and has reduced me to tears

Utterly useless

Utterly useless, error messages, says session ended, no verification email, etc. The worst online ticketing system I have ever dealt with.

Rip off merchants

I purchased 2 x tickets via AXS in October 2025 for Lewis Capaldi’s concert at Roundhay Park in July 2026.
As an Amex cardholder, these were marketed as exclusive pre-sale tickets for Amex customers and I upgraded to the VIP exclusive package.
Come June 2026, I receive another exclusive Amex cardholder offer this time offering VIP tickets for the price of general entry. This means I paid over £200 over the odds for the tickets for a VIP experience that will be anything but.
AXS refuse to help or offer a partial refund, directing me to the event organisers, Roundhay Park Festival, who in turn direct me pack to AXS.
The only “solution” AXS have offered is to buy 2 tickets at the current cheaper rate and try to sell my existing tickets at the inflated price I paid for them. Not something I think will be successful or that I will be doing.
This sort of ticketing behaviour is a disgrace especially when specifically directed at Amex cardholders and marketed in such a way to suggest exclusive pre-sale offers that are anything but.
Never again. Whole experience tarnished and any loyalty to Amex as a customer has now been lost.

Very poor system

Very poor system. Incredibly exhausting and poor booking process. Tried to use PayPal to pay over 3 months, money has been taken from my account but no tickets received. I find this disheartening and incredibly poor customer centred service. Do better.

We booked tickets for the FIFA World…

We booked tickets for the FIFA World Cup England v Croatia in November 25 with AXS.
We booked Category 2 seats, FIFA list 4 Categories, Category 2 was mid terrace behind the front rows.
The price at that time was $1800 each but they could not give us seat or row allocation as yet, but we booked them, expecting good seats as we were early booking and the fact I am somewhat visually impaired.
We trusted that we would be treated with respect as we have dealt with AXS previously, only to find that:
1. AXS charged us $4861.00 for tickets that were $1800 each.
2. The seats allocated were in Category 4, at the very back of the stadium where it would be hard to see the game easily from. As with all ticket sales, you get the option to accept or cancel your seat selection. In this case we were not offered the choice.
3. FIFA reduced the price by 24% but AXS did not offer us a discount or a refund when we complained about the location and charge for these tickets.
4. When I contacted AXS about this issue, they responded with you have what you book, Category 2, but that is not according to FIFA, we were not advised the seat location or an option to refuse them.
5. AXS charged a huge transaction fee of over $1200 for these tickets.
We have been well and truly ripped off by AXS.

Blocked form account access

Blocked form account access and told by support to "try again in a few days tour event isn't until July".

I have access to my account with login details stored in a secure password manager. They confirmed my email address is verified and we went through multiple password resets with no success. This is clearly an issue with them and support was so unhelpful.

I need to access my account to transfer and resell one ticket.

Such a pain. Can't believe they sell on behalf of a venue like the O2.

Utter rubbish and app is just as bad

It doesn’t matter whether you have the app or sign in, it still doesn’t filter location to nearby concerts. It doesn’t allow you to go back and look at different dates without thinking you’re a robot, it doesn’t like it when you look at different prices without thinking you’re a robot, click to fast robot. What is the point in having my full address, name, email etc if you still think I’m a bloody robot then block me from using your site

Awful ticketing platform

Awful ticketing platform. After checking that you're not a bot it then get you part way through the ticket queue and then kicks you out for no reason or shows an 'oh no' screen with no further information. When you do eventually select tickets for an event, no 'buy' button appears and you scroll around the page trying to find it and accidently refreshing the page, it then kicks you out again even though you have tickets in your basket!

Abysmal ticket buying experience

Abysmal ticket buying experience. 8 attempts to get through to the actual website to order tickets "You're not a real fan" over and over again.

When I eventually get through it's not possible to select and purchase tickets on the O2 arena map. As soon as the seats shown as available on the map are selected they are suddenly not available and are removed from the cart. Finally get two tickets in the cart and it's not possible to check out.

And this is supposed to be an "O2 Priority" sale. I shudder to think how they could deal with demand for general availability ticket sales.

An absolute embarrassment for any brand or artist associated with this.
