Staff not helping

Load of rubbish

Load of rubbish . 3 times I’ve asked them to add my new car to my existing policy and they just can’t seem to do it. They’ll tell me it’ll be done within 24 hours but it’s never done. How hard can it be!

I’m totally fed up I’ve emailed Axa…

I’m totally fed up I’ve emailed Axa phoned again emailed all to no avail. This accident happened in July last year and it’s still not sorted spoke to Rizwan he was excellent to begin and now he hasn’t bothered to get back to me. Axa are absolutely disgraceful. Im totally and utterly frustrated. They leave me hanging for over 20 minutes as it’s an 08 number I’m charged on the landline. Spent 20 euros last month. All I want is to get this sorted The last time I gave them a low score they got back to me as I was just in the car I couldn’t take the call promised to ring the next day I stayed in. No call the reference no is 231207288/001. Let’s hope someone finally sorts this. I wouldn’t even give a star but unfortunately have to

Do not go with AXA

Do not go with AXA, they are good until you make a claim!!! I have an third party claim against someone with no liability, haven't gotten a single update about my claim unless I call and wait 30 minutes on the phone for someone to pick up!!!!!

Someone on the other end of the phone

Just on to AXA regarding my sons car ins, got talking to Jude who went above and beyond helping me out over a problem that really had nothing to do with AXA, my own ins was not answering the phones on Bank Holiday Monday (they obviously think people don't have emergencies on BH) Jude and his manager sorted a big problem for us and I am so grateful to Jude and AXA, means alot when you can ring and talk to someone on the other end of the phone.....thanks again Jude

Beware!

With Axa for years. This years quote an outrageous €899!
Went with OLeary Insurance in Cork, only €549. €350 cheaper identical cover!

If it could be 0 stars it would be.
Unfortunately my experience has been very similar to others. Straight forward claim, bo payout months later even after sending me a letter saying my claim was settled. I am now in debt over their mismanagement of my claim and they are asking for another document 4 months later whilst getting all the details wrong their side, I caught them out lying to me about the timeframe and dates when I sent documents into them.
This is the worst customer management experience I have ever had, as if its not bad enough being in an accident, they put you through this pain. It was a single car accident no other parties involved. Looking forward to updating here in the coming days on what they hit me with next, I am looking at legal avenues now also..

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. Van wrote off mid December 2023.
Pretty straight forward case but still no payout, van hasn’t been collected. Every time I get through to someone they ask for another piece of paperwork but never reply to any emails. It’s been almost 10 weeks and the van is still sitting at my home.
Will never ever renew with AXA again. Not worth the hassle.

I meant to write this review ages ago about a lady i dealt with regarding my daughters insurance policy. Her name was Michelle Calvart in the Cavan office. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with, so helpful and friendly. She is a credit to your company and i will most certainly be renewing Lauren's policy with AXA. Best Wishes

Absolutely most shocking insurance…

Absolutely most shocking insurance company i have ever dealt with!!!
So rude and not helpful at all would not recommend and i also had to beg them to send me my documents. They wouldnt take any of my calls and blocked me out of getting into my axa if you can stay away from this place absolutely shocking.
Not to mention how rude and inconsiderate the customer care employees are!!!!!!

If i could give 0 stars I would.
Second to all in terms of help after being involved in a car accident where the other party was at fault. NEVER contacted me to give me updates , in the end I contacted the other parties insurance and they couldn’t have been more helpful, they were able to sort everything for me and went above and beyond to help me get things in order. I was then relaying information back to Axa and they still couldn’t give me any help it seemed as if they weren’t bothered and as if I was the one in the wrong. Avoid at all costs

Shocking customer service

Do not touch this company unless you want bad service and an uncooperative customer service. I tried to make a temporary vehicle change to my policy as my car sat down on me and I got a loan of a vehicle to continue working. The company doesn’t allow certain policies to have an online account and the department that deals with it closes at 5pm on a Friday. Although their customer service department opens on a Saturday they refused to help me and make a temporary change. Because of this I’ve lost a substantial amount of money from work. They couldn’t have been more unhelpful even if they tried. Honestly I wouldn’t have gave it any stars.

Crazy car insurance price hike on renewal

Decent pricing for my first year with them for Car Insurance.
Renewal for second year was more than €500 higher than previous year.
No factors had changed during this time to contribute to a higher premium. Seems like they don't want business.

Profiteering

AXA have increased my home insurance €449.36 in 2023 to €612.63 for 2024
We have had no claims.
One would expect their premium to reduce based on no changes to cover, no claims and for customer loyalty.
This also happened on our car insurance despite the Government's Action Plan for Insurance Reform which has reduced claims amounts for Insurance Companies and those savings were aimed to pass some of those savings onto the consumer.
AXA have not only saved on their claim pay-outs they have also had increased profits in 2023 and out of pure greed have not only decided NOT to pass some of these savings onto the consumer but to increase renewal premiums - pure profiteering!

AXA are slow & hire loss adjusters to slow it more

AXA are imo not on your side
PROADJUST were hired in by AXA to look after my claim. Claim is in relation to an out of work claim in relation to Covid times closure. My own 2 cents on this, is it’s simply been a delaying measure. Policy was taken out via OBF Brokers, who imo have always been helpful. But in relation to this claim. It appears, they all collectively are looking out for each other first and us the clients involved last. It’s coming up on 6 months. No resolution, no clear pathway to a resolution. Very little communication. Even the person I have hired to assist in the process seems more interested in keeping relations sweet with ProAdjust and AXA for the future, VS doing their job and getting this resolved in a timely fashion. Didn’t expect this to be easy, but neither did I expect it to be this slow. Dealing with AXA has been frustrating and Pro Adjust are only involved to serve whomever is hiring them. In this case it’s AXA. I lodged a complaint against the Claim Handler who’s not handling things well before Christmas. She responded on the 29th December, back dating it to the 25th for effect. Saying it would be answered within 15 working days. It’s now day 23. They are in my opinion, not here to look after YOU nor ME….. RE:23PO5354

Renewal of car insurance very…

Renewal of car insurance very disappointing - got different information from agents on two calls - have been with Axa for years but changed this year for a much better price with same cover and additional driver. Definitely shop around. I do have to say though the staff in Axa are second to none.
