I would give 0 starts if possible

I would give 0 starts if possible. They not only sent me the wrong parts, when I returned everything, they claimed I only sent one part back and gave me half the refund minus restocking fees. So, for a $139 order, I received back only $47. I call this modern day piracy. Horrible experience. I would never order anything from these guys.

Waiting for parts over 30 Days Now. Still have not received part.

We are a small family owned business. Purchased an "IN STOCK" part form AutoNation for our 2020 land rover, the 25th of November. Its been over a month now and still have not received the part. Called a few times and never received a conclusive response on where my part is.
The small amount of money you save is not worth the hassle!!! Also, they obviously don't have the part in stock, Id have it by now.....

DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM AUTONATION USA

If you are in the market for a vehicle, please do not purchase from Autonation in general but more specifically, Autonation USA, located in Charlotte NC. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING said to you by GM Cameron Hudson, as well as GM Colin Rundell, for they both are dishonest. Autonation sold me a faulty vehichle under false pretenses. Please, don't take my word for it, check reviews, not only on Google, but also on Yelp, BBB, Consumer Affairs and Reddit. Autonation USA, customer relations is also a joke, for they do not return calls nor do they respond to emails. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, unless you want to be cheated.

Dishonest group

Dishonest group. Agreed to a price for my car and was assured the hour drive through traffic would result in the purchase of my car at the agreed upon price. I met with Austin, and as I predicted would happen, he gave false information about my tires, which are still under warranty, and offered me $1000 less. Another hour drive home in traffic without a sale. Thank you, Austin and AutoNation Chrysler Jeep West for reminding me why salesmen and dealerships are not to be trusted, especially by women.

Salman Haq sold an unsafe vehicle

Salman Haq sold an unsafe vehicle. It was rusted out in 2 spots on the frame. One spot was filled with bondo. This was verified through OMVIC and MTO. These places, along with Consumer Affairs, BBB, Autonations CEO, lawyer and facebook daily posts have all been contacted. Mr. Haq just recently got off his second probation. What does it take to get this dealer's licence pulled before someone gets killed?

Terrible dealership

This company can only improve by closing its doors. The dealership owner is shady. He unlawfully sold us a truck which is unsafe and not road worthy, he is now denying to take any responsibility, were currently getting ready to take the owner to court. This review is to save others, do not go to autonations car sales in windsor. I will make sure that all evidence and posts are cycling through this internet to save anyone else from buying any garbage from him.

Purchased a Toyota Tacoma from…

Purchased a Toyota Tacoma from AutoNation Toyota Pinellas park a few years ago. The paint is peeling off while the truck is still under factory warranty. Toyota it would appear is trying to keep a paint problem quiet. AutoNation just blames the problem on Toyota.

How long has Toyota known about their paint peeling and were vehicles at Toyota dealers sold knowing there was a problem?

Per warranty Toyota says to work with the dealership for issues and the Toyota customer care number is not helpful. Be careful it seems AutoNation just wants to sell vehicles and be done with it. Over two months and I am now seeking legal assistance.

This is a much larger story. Search the internet for peeling paint Toyota Tacoma and also just Toyota peeling paint.

Average price to replace a transmission $4,000 to $7,000. Average cost to paint an vehicle correctly $5,000 to $20,000. You might want to research another manufacturer that stands by their product.

AVOID!!!

We purchased the car 60 days ago (or so) and we have had to replace all four tires and now a battery. The car has 20,000 (18,500 when we purchased it) miles on it and we have not hit the threshold of the 90 days or 4,000 warranty that the dealership offers not to mention the extended warranty we purchased. There is absolutely no reason we have had to spend $1700 on repairs on a car that we purchased less than 3 months ago. The dealership is refusing to help us and basically said “we checked the battery” and “the tires were fine”. Honestly avoid this place. The people who helped us initially are great, but sold us a lemon and won’t do anything about it. I've also reached out to their corporate office EVERY DAY for the past 7 business days and every time I call they say "someone will call you back in 48 business hours, that's 6 business days"....I've called them 8 times and also emailed them 8 times with absolutely no response Auto Nation is a joke and won't do the right thing. Please go to a certified dealer.

Horrible Customer Treatment

Tried to purchase a vehicle from this company and were advised they wouldn't sell to us since we couldn't close the deal before month-end. The salesman followed up after the first of the month stating the vehicle was still available for purchase, then took another buyer and pulled the vehicle from the site. The deal with the other buyer fell through and the vehicle was relisted on the site. We tried to purchase again and asked to confirm shipping costs. Three days later, with multiple inquiries to confirm shipping, they sold vehicle and only notified after we followed up. Horrible customer treatment and experience all around.

Automation of Colorado Springs is shady, buyer beware!

I bought a 2020 Ram 2500 Laramie from Autonation on Austin Bluffs in Colorado Springs. I traded in a 2021 Mercedes C300 and a brand new motorcycle that had 21 miles on it. Initially my experience was ok, not great.

When it finally came to going over the numbers and signing paperwork, they purposefully only show me what my payment would be, but not what they were giving me for my trades. If they were a stand up dealership they wouldn’t have tried to hide the fact that they were screwing me. On both vehicles. When the salesman got payoff on my Mercedes, he just looked at what was owed on the financial company’s app which was on my phone, rather the do their due diligence and actually call the bank it was financed through to get a 30 or 45 day payoff like any other dealership would do.

It wasn’t until I checked to see that the vehicle I traded was paid off that I noticed a small balance left of approximately $230 that Autonation still owed. When I called to inform them or the difference, there management immediately blamed it on me and said it was my fault for the discrepancy and refused to take care of the balance. So I called upper management, and as expected they blew me off and didn’t care what I had to say.

So I called corporate, which got me nowhere. Finally I left the General manager and long voicemail. At which point a sales manager called and said they’d take care of the balance like they were doing me a favor. That was 8 days ago, they still haven’t paid the balance.

Needless to say I will never do business with Autonation again. They are shady at best, so buyer beware. Lessoned learned, Make sure you know what your vehicle is worth before trading it in, make sure they show you the numbers up front before signing any paperwork.

False & Misleading advertisement. NOT SATISFIED AT ALL!

I purchased an item that was listed and appeared to be a tire repair kit. This is/was a deceptive advertising tactic and I fell for it. I tried contacting them via the website and by telephone. I still have received no response. I see the importance of reading a series of reviews now. I WILL NOT, WOULD NOT give any recommendation to use Auto Nation. They failed to respond in adequate time to my return request. I therefore spent $122.xx for an overpriced and unusable can of tire sealant. The only way to use it is to purchase and air compressor that is also advertised as an item in the online description.

Trash

Trash. Absolute trash. Takes forever to get in touch with anyone. They also claim certain packages you purchased are non refundable which is BS. Wanna hear something funny? I just got an email saying the theft protection package I purchased is nonrefundable. As if that doesn’t constitute theft in and of itself lmao. I know I’ll never see a dollar of what I paid for that, but figured I’d post out of principle. Avoid this clown show like the plague.

Great Experience

We had ZERO intention on buying today…ZERO…but we did…and couldn’t be happier with our experience at AutoNation Toyota in Fort Myers! Our family has had 3 Toyota 4Runner’s. When it came time for us to look at new cars, we knew what we wanted to stop by and look and the new models, but we were still considering other cars. After talking to Tommy (what a legend) in truck sales we decided that today is the day! He is incredibly knowledgeable and was able to answer the MILLION questions I had. He also made us feel comfortable, with a ZERO pressure experience that is NOT found at other dealerships. His very personable approach made us feel like we were working with a friend, rather than a salesman. I would also like to thank Chris Scalfani for getting our payments to a reasonable number that worked for our needs and budget. There are plenty of dealerships that you can chose from when purchasing a car, but the experience is what makes AutoNation a GREAT dealership! They have made a customer for life!

Parts

I'm looking for certain Part for My car and I asked him, could he please give me the part number where I can find it online. And he said they wasn't able to give it to me if I'm not purchasing one of their items. How ridiculous is that this place should even be on the market

My husband bought a 2021 Chevy Spark…

My husband bought a 2021 Chevy Spark for me thru Autonation and its been a nightmare. Broken wipers, transmission problems, car still reeks of smoke no matter what I do and the interior was filthy - I had to scrub the ceiling of the car and all the seats before driving it. Now having to go thru their useless customer service to get tranny serviced - good luck with calling or the website - both are useless unless you live in MD, TN or FL...

my car broke down before my first payment

I bought a car from them last month and it broke down in the remote West Texas town, it was 106 and my 87 year old aunt was in the car. She is ok no thanks to either my insurance or this awful place who couldn't have been worst- the attitude of the jerk we talk to was you should have bought a full warranty. OH really this is their attitude you should have expected one of are cars to break down when you haven't even made your first payment.

What a terrible experience. Carmax, and AutoNation Honda continue to ignore requests to fix a real issue that they created.

2019 Ram Promaster purchased new under one of our companies, of which I am the only Officer. I'm on the purchase agreement as a guarantor.

In February of 2024, I decided to sell the van and didn't want to hassle with a private party. I chose two companies that take trade-ins (Autowest Honda in the Roseville Automall and Carmax in Roseville, CA).

On February 13th, I visited Autowest Honda and was greeted by Salesman Thomas Condon who provided an analysis of the trade-in value of the van. To make a sale, Thomas indicated that he needed some additional items from his manager, but his manager was unavailable. He then asked to check back in the morning. I informed Thomas that I would be taking the van to Carmax.

I left and took the van to Carmax. Carmax essentially offered me the same trade-in value and indicated that their system could title and pay off Chrysler Capital directly with a wire transfer. We then made the sale. They wrote me a check for positive equity and sent me on my way.

On February 27, 2024, I discovered that Autowest Honda initiated the purchase of my van without my approval, the van, or any paperwork. They also paid Chrysler Capital the payoff amount.

On February 27th, Carmax contacted me via phone to indicate that they have not been able to complete the payoff with Chrysler Capital, and as a result of Autowest Honda's involvement of contract interference, they wished to back out of the sale.

I called Autowest Honda and asked to speak with the General Manager. Gary Pistochini identified himself as the GM and listened to my interaction with Thomas Condon and Autowest Honda. He was completely shocked and said that he had never even heard of such a thing happening in the auto business - and that there were processes in place to prevent such a thing- and that he would address it immediately and call me back with an immediate solution. I have heard nothing back. Reaching Mr. Pistochini was impossible and so I tried to speak with the first salesman Thomas Condon for an update and learned that he was no longer employed there.

I then contacted Carmax to explain the situation about Autowest Honda and that they should attempt to contact Autowest Honda directly, and attempt to try and pay Chrysler Capital directly to pay off the van.

I contacted Chrysler Capital and they indicate that the van was initially paid off by Autowest Honda on 2/16/2022 and then reversed that payment on March 22, 2024 - a full 38 days after initially paying it off.

On June 1, 2024, Chrysler Capital indicated that the van was approaching five months delinquent and scheduled for repossession. I noted the issues with Autowest Honda and Carmax.

Carmax has been very aggresive with certified letters. Van has been on their lot for six months.

I have attempted to resolve this issue with both automotive companies and both are pointing fingers at the other. Carmax has been very aggressive. Autonation is hiding.

Be careful folks. This is as ridiculous as it gets. Van is officially in repossession, my credit has been seriously damaged, and these big companies are heartless.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM - AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Valencia

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! Stay away!

They sold me a lemon! I purchased this vehicle one year ago, in May 2023. Over the last year, I have encountered nothing but issues, including frame and body, engine malfunctions, and wheel and suspension breakdowns. I've tried communicating with the store manager and service department but have had no resolution. When I purchased the vehicle, I trusted the advice of the sales and finance associates and invested in an extended warranty and maintenance contract, which I was told would cover the vehicle bumper to bumper; however, the only response that was ever provided was "it is not covered." The poor customer service and lack of concern displayed by the store staff and the poor quality of the vehicle sold to me have left this experience to be nothing but dissatisfying.

This store took advantage of me and sold me a vehicle that was not in working condition. I have had to make several repairs out of pocket already, and now I am being told that additional repairs of over $2500 need to be made for my vehicle to be safe to drive!

The sales manager always claims he didn't receive my messages, be it phone calls, emails, or letters I have sent. This business does not care about the customer's safety, nor will they take responsibility for their failure to deliver a quality product. They run the business and behave like a small dealership, leaving me feeling frustrated and helpless.
