Au pair world is a very easy and comprehensive platform to use. I found that it really helps you start your au pair journey with little to no hassle. As well as helping direct you in the contract proces and visa process. Would definitely recommend.

Useful and recommended
The website is very accessible and easy to use. It also offers the contracts, requisities, and basically all the information you need to become an Aupair. I've contacted my 2 host families in Germany through Aupair world.
I'll be using it again to find my host family in Belgium!

Poor service
Poor service, you can't find families for any reason and those on the platform don't even respond.
My profile was deactivated without notice, and I couldn't respond to the chats I had pending, I've been contacting support for days but no one has answered me.
Painful service I would like to understand why you say you are the best au pair platform if you treat your users like that.
Please reactivate my profile because in a week you have never answered the e-mail I sent you.

utterly unprofessional
Au Pair world removed profiles of au pairs over 30 all of the sudden without any warning stating they were too old to be au pairs. We explained to them that legally there is no upper age limit for au pairs in the UK. They said they have been always following this age guidance which is not true. The age limit used to be 64, anyone who knows this page for more than a month will remember that. They treated us with utter disrespect removing our profiles all of the sudden in the middle of conversation with host families and without any valid reason.
ANSWER to the comment below:

If families were able to find au pairs over 30 on your website up until 3 weeks ago,
If I ( 33 and you removed my profile just 3 weeks ago) was able to get in touch with host families from the UK and Spain on your website for the last 3 years
This means that you HADN'T followed 'the European Agreement on the Au Pair Placement from 1969' up until you deleted my profile 3 weeks ago.
You decided to follow it now that this agreement is over half a century old and obviously outdated. Not only is it totally outdated and does not take into consideration how the times have changed in over 50 years nor the laws and customs in the UK but also it cannot have the power you attribute to it if you had successfully ignored it up until now. So quoting it is a very weak excuse. Evidently you don't have any valid explanation for your decisions.

First and foremost, we would like to clarify that the age limits for au pairs, which range from 17 to 30 years, are in line with the guidelines outlined in the European Agreement on the Au Pair Placement from 1969, specifically Article 4. This agreement has served as the foundation for many au pair programs across Europe and has been the basis for our basic idea of au pairing and terms of service since our company was founded.
We understand that you have seen variations in practices in different countries, such as the UK, where there might be more flexibility around the age of au pairs. However, while we recognize the unique circumstances surrounding the au pair market in the UK post-Brexit, we must maintain the regulations that we’ve committed to.
Please note that the au pair stay does not correspond to a job, and is very different from a nanny position, which of course has no age limit. Au pairing, however, is a cultural and linguistic exchange programme for young persons. In this context, both au pairs and host families must meet a set of requirements. The age limits for au pairs form part of this set of rules for our platform.
We are sorry that we cannot give you a positive answer, but we sincerely wish you success in your future endeavors.

We would not recommend AuPairWorld at all. We have written to over 90 people with practically no answers. The ones we received were mostly one line sentences that all sounded the same. All people stopped communication when asked for a video call. We were under strong impression there are many fake profiles that are being managed by a few people to keep the business going.

Waist of time and money
As others have written, there seem to be far more families looking than au pairs. I contacted around twenty young people whose profiles interested me and received no reply. Even if I wanted to decline, I'd find it beneficial if there was a feature asking you to reply.
It's a waste of time and money.

I appreciate the ChatGPT answer, however my profile was detailed and complete. With pictures and everything that reflects the nice experience that we can offer an aupair. I made my messages personal, polite and inviting. In a word... I wish I had done directly with your competitor where there is so much more au pair looking for an opportunity and who are actually answering messages.
