The booking process was clear and simple until I encountered a screen informing me that the fare I'd selected was no longer available. I was offered to accept a higher fare which was disconcerting.... See more

Don't, simply don't book with Aunt Betty. I booked two separate flights through their website. Both tickets on the website and in the booking confirmation emails had 23-kg check-in luggage included. The issued tickets didn't. After requesting a re-issued ticket including the luggage, the response I've received was that the customer-service would be happy to help me booking and paying for add-on luggage. I replied by referring to Australian consumer laws requesting again a re-issued ticket but haven't received any communication within the last 4 days, not even an acknowledgement that my emails were received. Mistakes can happen but should be rectified. Given that the same issue occurred with two separate bookings makes me suspect that this is business practice and not a mistake.
I found it fairly straight forward to make my booking and add what was needed, first time booking an international flight
Aunty Betty was a cheaper way to book my flight
Easy website to use, seamless integration with airline, tickets issued within hours.
The booking process is stress-free, super easy and one of the cheapest option on Skyscanner. I highly recommend Aunt Betty. I have booked several times with them without any issues although I did not need to change my plans or flights were not rescheduled. The last time I used Aunt Betty I did need the customer service as the airline kept rescheduling flights leading to missed connections. The wait for the chat is super long and you have 3 minutes to react, once - 4 to 6 hours after you have started the chat - someone answers to you. Calling was easier and the wait much shorter but it is only for flights leaving in the next few days. However, I contacted them a few times via their chat to sort my problems out and they were great, Yuki and Vince were especially amazing and I felt they listened and helped as much as they could. They did solve my issues. I got a full refund within 5/6 weeks.
It can depend who you get though... Avy, Avy, Avy... What a terrible person. I waited over 4 hours, they sent me a message asking if I was still around. I reacted immediately, within the same minute. They had already ended the conversation. What an immense lack of respect for customers and their job, utterly unprofessional, very upsetting when you have waited over 4 hours. This person is the reason I took 1 star off. I wish I could add the screenshot that I took of this conversation. Anyway overall, I find that Aunt Betty is a great third party.
First booking with Aunt. Good price and easy simple
Hope follow up as good as booking

I must confess that I'm a book directly through the airline type who is wary of third party sellers. I found a great deal via SkyScanner and I chose the Aunt Betty option as the Flight Centre brand gave me confidence that all would be well. The booking experience was very smooth and easy even though my bank called me to check that I wasn't being scammed by a travel agent with a funny sounding name. While my final verdict on Aunt Betty remains pending, I think access to incredibly cheap airfares during peak season feels like a great travel hack.

Easy, straightforward.
The only complaint is the attempted upselling of add-ons.

Extremely hard to get to talk to someone.
I've been trying to use the customer support chat for a couple of days. Day 1, I've waited for 4 hours (!) then closed the chat. The following day, I was waiting for an hour when someone replied asking if I was still there; after a few seconds they closed the chat as I was not quick enough. Just a few seconds after an hour wait?! I arrived 1 minute after their message and I had missed my spot in the line, now waiting for another 75 minutes.
I don't have all day everyday to wait to talk to someone to resolve my issue.

Extremely disappointing experience with Aunt Betty.
My return Qatar Airways flight was cancelled, and on 11 March I was advised the refund process would take up to 12 weeks. On 22 March, Qatar Airways confirmed the refund had already been sent to Aunt Betty. It has now been nearly 16 weeks, and I am still waiting for my refund.
Throughout this process I have had to repeatedly chase updates, spend hours on hold trying to contact customer service, and most of my emails have gone unanswered. I have also received conflicting information and no clear communication about when my refund will actually be paid.
The lack of transparency and customer service has been extremely disappointing. I expected a travel agent to keep customers informed and process refunds within the timeframe they advised—not leave customers waiting for months without answers.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend Aunt Betty.
