This place is a scam and Kevin is the biggest lier I have ran into paid for a transmission over 4 months ago after being lied to from Kevin fir 2 months I lost the job and had to give my customer his down payment back they told me they was still going to send the transmission out id told them I wanted a refund well still lied to by Kevin I have to call off different numbers each time I call cause they have caller ID u would think it would be easier to refund my money and move on nope its going to cost them more cause this is going to court thanks Kevin your doing the owner a great job
My name is Keith Donnelly order #9941 on Aug.26th 2020.1160e tranny on my credit card.ive emailed from 5 accts.ive called from numerous numbers.i can't even say what most have said about broken promises and lies except for once in these 3 yrs without being shipped the tranny I paid for in full in advance.one time 1 1/2 yrs ago I had a brief email with Kevin who told me the tranny would b out that Friday and I'd have it by 3/1/21.didnt arrive.

It took over a month to get a transmission for a food truck vehicle. Because of him we are now selling off everything we can to make ends meet just so we don’t loose our buisiness. He said 2 weeks, 5 weeks later we didn’t know if we were burned and still waiting on the mechanic to see if it even works. Order from here if time doesn’t matter.

I bought a 700r4 transmission from “a transmission” 8/5/20. A week or so later I emailed and asked if I could keep some type of update, and no response. So I let it go for a little bit then about a month later I called and talked to Kevin and I was so so patient and nice to them, but every time I called back I go the run around. “ oh Covid has it delayed” “I’ll give you your tracking number in one week if not give me a call back” after three or four months I called and told them I needed my money back and they said okay we’ll put it back on the card, and ofc never anything. Well I got a new card maybe a month or two after and I told Kevin “ hey man I got a new card so what can we do” and they said that they would send a check. I called back and back and the same thing. Our accountant works from home this and that, it’s been nearly a year and never got a transmission. Never got a check. Never got money back into my account. Not an email or a phone call from them. I understand a little delay of transmission due to COVID but taking peoples money is absolutely b.s.

this is my 2nd review on my "A"transmision experience because my other review has gotten so long you will get lost in all the bull.... reasons why they cant get your transmission or stand behind their own warranty {thats not worth the ink}. Ordered a transmission in february of 2020 {was promised transmission more times than can count} by these THIEVES. BEWARE LIARS and THIEVES. I like their reply. Not interested in finding out who it is, to make it right just B.S. ?????????

Purchase transmission 4L80E on or about July 2019 - Received by 9/2019 & installed.
I drove truck for 9 months under normal conditions and babying it so not to have to go thur this again. Oh well kevin - Up graded due to delays from 5 year warranty to unlimited mileage & lifetime warranty.
So now I call Kevin told him transmission blown up and he gave me no issues with 2nd transmission replacement. Also I change shipping address to my house for 2nd transmission. Cause need time to fine a different repair shop to install 2nd transmission, So I hired Transmission Works. 265 South Main St, New Britain, Ct 06051. P# (860) 225-7797 (owner Ron) - When this 1st transmission blown up, I wanted to know why. (Without opening transmission) also I just knew it was a factory issue. So I talked to Ron explained issue I had and that I wanted pics of
anything he see that's not right and this pic that is attach is from Transmission Works from Ron's cell phone.
After installing 2nd transmission which was towed from my house with transmission in pick up bed of my 1999 GMC Sierra 2500 4x4 pickup. Transmission 4L80E to Transmission works, I then was called by Ron to pick up my truck that it was all done. That was on September 10th 2020. Now I am having issues with transmission number 3 and he started to avoid my phone calls after informing him when issues 1st started yesterday. Been checking transmission fluid level, color, and smell and have no issue with any of above list.
NOTE Pic attach is pic of the 1st transmission
they also where to take back this transmission and told me that they won't pay for return shipping and can't get rid of it and now I going to have a 2nd bad transmission on top of a 3rd being built.

is this resolved NOW!! All I looking for is Fairness and for EXCUSES TO END. To all concerned I lost a lot of work and money to this company. Now I be lucky if I ever see another transmission from these guys.
It many have to go to small claims with audio, text message, and documents from both installers as well as consumer complaints. No doubt I win. Just longer process as well as more headaches.
I believe A Transmission thought if they string people along long enough they get feed up and go away. NOT ME! I paid for a working transmission I well get a working transmission.

Just strings the customers along for months on end. My 1st trans only lasted 9 months. Metal thur out transmission inside. Waited 3monthes and was told time after time it would be shipped and come to find out it never got shipped. Week after week
and month after month this went on. Then I got Trans #2 and that only lasted 3 months and reverse gear is gone

Useless liars who are won't be honest and own up to the bad bussiness practices. Only way I am going away is if I get my transmission, my money or a win in small claims. I am waiting on the courts to service the company w/ my law suit. That in less these MORONES call me and man up!! This has been on going since june 2019. This is my reply to there reply.

I called and spoke with Kelly the main Atransmissions representative on Friday October 30, 2020, about the faulty transmission I purchased from their company. She in turn gave me Kevin’s name, Atransmission’s company mechanics specialist. I gave Kevin’s name and number to my mechanic, so they could troubleshoot the issue. After their conversation, my mechanic told Kevin stated it was likely be a weak pump that possibly messed up the new torque converter. His, Kevin’s, only resolve was to ship me a new transmission.
That being said, I ordered my transmission and paid for on August 21,2020....It took nearly 2 months to receive it and then it didn’t come completely. Once it finally all showed up and after $700 to install it; I only got to drive it for about 1-1 1/2 Weeks. Now it is STILL down. I realize it is covered by my 5 year warranty, but I was told that I have to cover shipping costs on top of having to REPAY ANOTHER $700 to have my mechanic to REINSTALL A PRODUCT Atransmissions GUARANTEED. I told them I felt that the labor cost should be covered by their company considering it didn’t even last 30 days. I was willing to negotiate, but something needed to be done. If they were willing to ship me a new transmission with a return label that covers the shipping cost, we were willing to negotiate the cost to reinstall. I just felt I should not have to cover any let alone all these costs AND I DEFINITELY DID NOT WANT TO WAIT 2+more months for another transmission. THAT WAS THEN....now I am joining in on a lawsuit to get my money back and then some!!!! Pain and suffering! Lawyer fees! I am DONE MESSING WITH THEM!

I’ve never dealt with such horrible customer service. This company needs to be shut down! It’s going on 2 years of lie after lie. I bought a transmission from them and it never worked from the start. I contacted them and they’ve promised they would send another and it’s yet to happen. But because I’m joining a lawsuit with Bob Thompson I will be getting my money back soon!
