Fix Atlas, plus false advertisement

Positives: Very light weight, fixed my gaming PC, kept me from upgrading, RDR2 runs at 60FPS on a CORE i3 3225 paired with a GTX 1060

Negatives: nucleus co-op [GAMING PROGRAM] doesn't detect the other player when I have Atlas OS installed, I reinstalled 3 times, Atlas OS does something that doesn't cope with nucleus co-op,. but the thing is, I use nucleus co-op, to play video games with my friends every week, so I can't upgrade unfortunately, plus the processes go back up to 97 without anything but steam and 4 games installed

False Advertisements: Even after restart, it hangs at 78, despite the advertised 35, and on a fresh install, it only goes to 57, and only increases afterwards, it advertises 900mb ram usage, but even on a fresh install, it uses 1.2GB, close enough but, it climbs to 3gb after 4 days

Hello there,

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on Atlas. We genuinely appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve and deliver a better experience for all our users.

We understand your point about the advertised process count and RAM usage. While these figures don’t directly reflect performance, we get that they’re important to our users. So, we’re working on making this data clearer in our upcoming v0.3 release. Your input has been really helpful in highlighting this, so a big thank you for that!

Now, about the Nucleus CO-OP issue, we’re really sorry to hear that you’re having trouble. Nucleus CO-OP is a great tool for split-screen gaming, and we’d love to help get it up and running on Atlas. It might be a driver issue, so it could be worth checking with the Nucleus CO-OP developers to see if there are any specific drivers needed.

We’re here to make sure you have the best experience with Atlas, and your feedback is a big part of that. So, thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts with us.

Why you Should and Shouldn't use Atlas OS

I've been using Atlas OS for a while now. It's important to understand what you're doing if you want to use it. Some people complain about its security, but it's designed more for performance than security. I've been using customized versions of Windows since 2018. Even though I know how to handle security issues, I've used crypto wallets and credit cards without any problems. Now I have a high-end PC, but I still prefer these custom versions because they offer better performance and lower latency in games. Atlas is the best custom Windows OS I've found for maximizing performance. It might not be the most compatible option, but it works well for me. If security is your main concern, it's better to avoid Atlas and stick to the original Windows. However, it's worth noting that even the regular version of Windows isn't entirely safe due to potential hidden spyware from Microsoft.

Best os ever!

I had a really old computer which was 5 plus years old and it barely could open file explorer. But with atlas os? Its really good and now it can run minecraft at 155 fps before it was like 70-80 and it opens file explorer quicker than my high end computer lol

I use atlas os and it has helped my cpu!

I use atlas os and it has not effected my gaming, other than make my cpu run much much better in terms of usage, the idle usage of my cpu is decreased, letting apps take advantage of my cpu! there is no windows security but they are planing to add it in the 0.3.0 update!
