Horrible coffee and horrible service

If I could give negative stars then I would do just that. I ordered 3 box subscription for 50 percent off regular price. I received 2 out of 3 boxes. I reached out to customer service via email. They were apologetic and said that they would send out the missing box. I received the “missing” box today and it was a duplicate of one of the other coffees that I already had. The coffee is not even that good to go through all this hassle. I should have come to trust pilot before even ordering with this company.

Put my first order on hold without even asking

I never even made it past my first order with Atlas Coffee Club and here’s why.
The “first bag free” promotion is not what it appears to be. In big bold letters they advertise a free bag but the fine print reveals it’s actually 50% off a two-bag order meaning one bag is only free if you commit to buying two. That’s not a free bag, that’s a buy-one-get-one. Call it what it is.
Then when I reached out to customer support about a specific coffee origin they had been actively marketing to me Honduras I was told that origin was no longer available. The problem? I received an email from Atlas that very same morning promoting Honduran coffee. Whether that’s a system error or just careless marketing it left a bad taste and made the whole experience feel like a bait and switch.
Finally, the customer service rep closed their response with a line that felt dismissive rather than helpful the kind of thing that makes you feel like a transaction rather than a valued customer.
Three strikes in the first interaction is more than enough. I cancelled immediately. If a company can’t be straightforward about what a promotion actually means before you’ve even received your first shipment that tells you everything you need to know.
Would not recommend.

I had an issue with my order and…

I had an issue with my order and reached out for clarification, specifically requesting one coffee with one creamer per order. Instead of clearly communicating any limitations, there was a delayed response, and my order was processed incorrectly (two coffees and only one creamer) without giving me a chance to adjust it.

What made this worse was the interaction with their representative, Jordan. The communication felt dismissive and unnecessarily rude. I was simply trying to resolve a straightforward issue, but instead of being helpful, the response lacked basic customer service and respect.

As a paying customer, this is unacceptable. Good products alone are not enough—customer experience matters just as much.

I hope Atlas Coffee takes this seriously, improves their support, and ensures their team communicates professionally. I would still like to speak with a manager to resolve this situation.

Ordered coffee to be shipped to alaska and delivery date is 3 weeks. Totally unacceptable. I get shipments from lower 48 all the time in about a week to 10 days. Shipments from China get here faster than 3 weeks. Hopefully the coffee will be worth the wait. I canceled my subscription due to long wait time. Thanks

NEGATIVE 5! The coffee is as horrible as their Customer Service!

I ordered the Atlas Coffee Club “Superblend” because of their prominently advertised 30‑Day Risk‑Free Money‑Back Guarantee, which states you can try the product and get a full refund if you’re not satisfied. Unfortunately, the product had a strong horrible chemical/bitter aftertaste and was unusable. I only opened one bag; the second remained sealed.
When I contacted customer support to request a refund under their risk‑free guarantee, I was told I would have to pay for return shipping, which directly contradicts the meaning of “risk‑free.” After several emails, the company continued to cite internal policy and Terms & Conditions instead of honoring the guarantee they advertise on their website.
They also attempted to reframe the issue as a “quality investigation” and asked for lot numbers and photos, even though their guarantee does not require any of that. I repeatedly stated I was willing to return the product with a prepaid return label, which is standard for any risk‑free or satisfaction guarantee. They refused.
In the end, Atlas Coffee Club would not honor their own advertised guarantee unless I paid out of pocket to return the product. This experience was disappointing and misleading, and I’ve filed a formal complaint with the BBB.
I hope this review helps others make an informed decision.

Trust me.. Don't bother trying this "coffee"

I'm a coffee snob, I've had amazing coffee from almost anywhere you can think of... this coffee isn't it. I was really excited to try it so I purchased 3 boxes, hoping that even if this coffee is half as good as they say it is, it should be worth it. It's not worth it, i tried 1 from each box and each time I took 2 sips and threw it away. I was disappointed to say the least. I contacted the company who laid out all of these bs rules.. you pay for return shipping, it has to be within a certain few days after you contact them for a refund and also if you jump through all their hoops, you only get a partial refund. When i read that, nuff said.. if their coffee was truly a good as they claim, they would stand behind their product, not get all snippy in their email response.. I was cordial when i emailed them that i wanted to cancel and was not responded to in kind. I wish I would have known about Trustpilot before I ordered, I wouldn't have had to taste their God awful liquid dirt they call "coffee"

I love their coffees from around the world

I have been using Atlas coffee club for a few months now. My son who loves coffee as much as I do also participate with our subscription I can’t say enough good things about this company. They have good follow through questions. They answer their emails. Respectfully their coffee is amazing very fresh never bitter. There’s always one or two that may not taste as good as the others but that’s OK. They are so much better than the kind you can buy on Amazon or at the grocery store, they never sit on the shelves for months on in before being sold so they don’t get stale or moldy, and I have experience that with purchases in the past even at a quality food store you’re never going to get this with Atlas coffee their packaging is beautiful, gorgeous boxes with postcards and explanations of where this coffee is made. Don’t listen to the negative reviews. Just try it for yourself and you will see how good this coffee is and the best part is, it is not as acidic as most coffees out there and if you are doing intermittent fasting, your stomach is not going to burn from having a wonderful cup of Atlas coffee from around the world

I had just choked down a few cups of this nasty stuff before I received an email saying another bag was charged & shipped! I emailed back within minutes & said I didn’t want it & they simply said “tough luck & if you do try to send it back then we won’t give you your money back”. Horrible coffee but even worse customer service!

Extremely frustrating experience with…

Extremely frustrating experience with Atlas Coffee Club. They sent a marketing email promoting a discount code, which I applied successfully through their own website while placing my order. After that, they delayed my order and later claimed they wouldn’t honor the promo at all.

What made it worse was their customer support — absolutely miserable. They don’t listen, don’t take accountability, and don’t even offer a proper escalation process. It felt like talking to a wall while my time and money were being wasted.

I’ve decided to take my business elsewhere where customers are actually respected. Very disappointing service and company standards. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Buy Elsewhere

Hi elsewhere. Unable to control what is shipped and for those of us that have severe food allergies such as tree nuts, so of their coffees include those items. No way to incorporate this into your preferences. They have a non refundable policy and in our circumstance, we received coffee made with almonds that would literally kill us due to anaphylaxis.

Will never purchase again. Bones Coffee is the better option for us.

Non existent customer service. Poor shipping and processing system.

I'm here to save anyone interested in trying this brand. First of all, I can't attest to the taste or quality of the product as I didn't even get a chance to do so. I originally order the starter set with gifts and two bags of the coffee. I also set up a monthly subscription and was excited to about the added probiotics that isn't available in for example RYZE. Over the course of two weeks I hadn't received any notifications of a shipping date even though my payment was processed. After the first week, I attempted to reach out via email to support to inquire if there was an issue with delivery address or payment. I received no response. The week after I again attempted to email support and again received no response. By the end of the second week I attempted to call the company and was just put into a wait lobby and was never able to speak to anyone. After 45 mins on hold I gave up, cancelled my subscription, and emailed customer support to cancel my order. They did follow through with the cancellation the following day, but I still haven't received any email from customer support to apologize or explain where the disconnect was. Some of the worst customer experience I have ever experienced and hopefully this info will keep others from having to deal with it.

BUYER BEWARE DO NOT BUY

Let me save you all a lot of money and trouble. I bought their coffee on a trial. 2 bags which should have lasted 2 months according to the serving count.
I threw it all away after 2 weeks.
1. Taste : like powdered milk and instant coffee. BAD 0 stars
2. Cost: For what you get its a rip off not worth 5 cents.
3.Sneaky: They signed me up without my knowledge for automatic renew and sent me 2 more bags in less than 30 days and charged 58.00.
4. Return: they dont allow returns on the second order no refunds and they NEVER answer their phone. I have yet to see the new delivery even though they claim it was delivered. I had to dispute it with my credit card becuse the email responses are automated. COPY and repeat from the last email. I alao never got any emails to show I signed up for auto renew or terms and conditions.
5. Customer service:lWhat customer service there is none.

I DONT EVER WRITE REVIEWS MAYBE I SHOULD -100 pointes and zero stars ON ALL POINTS SAVE YOUR MONEY YOUR BETTER OFF MAKING THIS AT HOME. WITH INSTANT COFFEE AND POWDERED MILK

Mass Mail-Order Slop

Their entire business is package delivery. They promised a specific delivery date but ended up delivering it 5 days early and ruining a gift surprise.

Don't sell things as holiday gifts or promise a specific date if you're just going to do whatever you want with the order.

Really terrible and bad customer service

ordered Atlas mushroom blend. Its the only one I've tried so far that I couldn't stomach. It tastes and smells so bad, its inedible. They kindly canceled my subscription but did NOT refund (which most of the other brands guarantee). I actually liked all the others that I've tried so far. This is BAD and the customer service is terrible. Mud water is better and doesnt even taste like coffee. The cheaper brands on Amazon are all also better than this. Its also not vegetarian which didnt occur to me to check. It smells like dead animals

The Atlas+ Latte tastes like a coconut…

The Atlas+ Latte tastes like a coconut husk. If you really really love coconut then maybe you will like this but I don't love it. The taste of coconut overwhelms the coffee taste. If you like coffee then this is not what you want. I couldn't stand the taste and asked them to honor their "30-Day Money Back Guarantee: Love the coffee or your money back" but I was told I have to pay for shipping to send it back. "Devin" from their customer service said their fine print does not really give a 30 day money back guarantee. Be warned, their customer service is horrible and this product has no coffee taste, it is mostly coconut husk ground up into a powder that tastes really bad.

I'm disappointed with Atlas Coffee Club

I ordered Atlas Coffee Club’s Superblend and it was one of the most disappointing coffees I’ve tried. When I asked for a refund, the company hid behind its “Terms & Conditions” and required me to pay to ship the product back, follow strict packaging rules, and ship it within just 7 days of their email to qualify. For a first-time customer, that’s an unreasonably short window and a very unfriendly return process. If you don’t like the coffee, expect to spend more money and hassle just to get your refund.

Beware of Their Fake Affilate Program

Atlas Coffee Club reached out to me as a travel blogger, giving me a special code for my readers, as part of their “Affilate Program.” I would make a commission based on readers signing up via my link. Well, I’ve sadly come to realize that their “Affiliate Program” is likely a scam. After months of trying to contact them, repeated emails with NO response, & no ability to access my Affiliate Dashboard ~ I’m giving up on them, & wanted to warn others not to waste time signing up with their “Affiliate Program.” Like me, you’ll probably never see a dime from them.

Lukewarm Brown Water

The coffee is watery, thin and completely lacking any robust flavor or aroma. Lukewarm brown water with zero taste. Taste as if someone poured hot water over coffee beans. Worst coffee I've ever had!
