Hello , I bought a ring from Astrari an year ago after a bad experience with a different company , sadly recently died , the support received from Astrari was excelent , helped me going trough the steps of figuring out what is the problem , did all checks on multiple phones and it turned out to be the ring stopped working , the company was kind to sent a replacement and let me change size for safer day to day conditions, the ring is a bit fragile as ceramic but looks great , it works great on all shops where I went and also showed off to my friends and was great , best model of ring and easy to set up with applications like curve and all , thank you for all.

Very disappointing customer experience.

Very disappointing customer experience.

I pre-ordered an Astari Metal Ring and encountered delivery issues despite providing a complete and correct shipping address. After multiple follow-ups, ASTARI confirmed that my address was properly formatted but simply directed me to contact the courier myself.

The problem was that the courier's phone line was constantly busy and unreachable. Instead of taking ownership of the issue and coordinating with their shipping partner, ASTARI left me to resolve the problem on my own.

I've successfully received many other online orders through the same courier at the same address, so this was clearly an exception that required proper customer support. Unfortunately, no meaningful solution was provided, and my order remained unresolved.

The product may be good, but customer service is tested when things go wrong. In my case, the support experience fell well below expectations.

First of all, we completely understand your frustration. When a shipment encounters an unexpected issue, especially when the address has been confirmed as correct, customers quite rightly expect us to help drive the resolution.

In this particular case, we did verify that the address information provided was complete and correctly formatted, which unfortunately left us with limited options from our side. The courier required direct contact with the recipient regarding the delivery, which is why we advised reaching out to them. However, we can absolutely understand how frustrating that becomes when their phone lines are difficult or impossible to reach.

As a small but fast growing company, we sometimes find ourselves dependent on larger logistics partners whose processes are not always as flexible as we would like. While that does not excuse the experience you had, it does explain why we were not able to intervene as effectively as we would have wanted.

We always try to work with our customers to find a solution when issues arise, and we are sorry that in this case it did not feel that way. Feedback like yours is important because it helps us identify where we can improve our escalation procedures when courier partners are not performing as expected.

If the situation remains unresolved, we would still be happy to take another look. Please send an email to info@astariwearables.com with “Trustpilot Review” in the subject line, and I will personally review the case to see whether there is anything further we can do.

Set up was easy

Set up was easy, used the curve app. I chose the white ceramic ring, which looks nice and goes with everything, used in my local pub for the first time recently and it worked perfectly

Not simple to setup but once done it’s great.

Firstly, I love the Astari ring I bought. It works well and gets lots of interest whenever I use it.
The main issue I had was the confusing setup procedure. It requires two apps to operate and the process to get them both working correctly wasn’t helped by the lack of clear instructions.
However, having stumbled through the procedure the ring now operates well and within seconds the Curve app messages me to confirm my purchase details.

I love the ring

I love the ring. I have the silver one and it looks great.
I set up the ring but couldn't get it to work.
I emailed customer service and they took a while to reply.
When they did they were extremely helpful and my ring now works well.
I recommend them

Always gets comments from store staff

Got my ring just over a week ago. It’s a great fit and I always get comments from store staff when using it to pay for my items. It didn’t work whilst trying to pay at a store today but I think it was an old terminal and that’s why it didn’t connect to authorise. Other than that, which I believe was a blip it’s a great bit of kit

We’re really happy to hear that the fit is spot on and that you’re already getting comments from store staff. Those reactions are honestly one of our favourite things to hear about and never seem to get old. There is something fun about seeing people realise payments can happen from a ring.

You may very well be right about the terminal. Some older or handheld terminals can occasionally be a little more sensitive when it comes to NFC positioning or detection. In some cases the contactless reader may simply not be as strong, meaning the ring needs to be held slightly closer or approached with a different hand gesture to get the best connection. (perhaps you can try this next time)

That said, it should still work reliably in the vast majority of cases, so we are glad to hear this seems to have been more of a one off than a recurring issue. If it does happen more often, please feel free to reach out to our customer service at support@astariwearables.com. We should be able to help optimise the payment technique and positioning to make sure you get the smoothest possible experience.

To many of my Astari ring payments fail...

My ring arrived in the UK in a reasonable time, I believe it came from the Netherlands. I'm disappointed with my Astari ring because after 5 weeks of ownership and numerous communications with Astari and the Manage Mii App team I'm still finding that some payment terminals won't accept payments using my ring. I try all positions on these terminal more than once but they reject and cancel payment so I have to pay using my mobile phone. Payments using My mobile phone have never been rejected so I'm finding the inconsistency of my ring payments frustrating. When I bought my Astari ring it was to save getting my mobile phone out for payments but I'm still having to get my phone out to make payments to often. I've recently had a few days away during which I'd say my ring failure rate was circa 20%.

One important detail that can help us narrow this down is whether the ring is being recognised by the terminal during failed payments or not. For example, does the terminal react and then decline the payment, or does it not recognise the ring at all? This helps us determine whether the issue may be positioning related, terminal specific, or something else within the setup.

Unbeknown to her, last September my wife bought me an Astari contactless payment ring for our anniversary. I - sorry, she - had ordered an Atlantis metal ring in silver. I received the sizing gauge within a couple of days, did the needful, and returned the information. I received an email saying that there was going to be a delay. Then another email. Serious supply chain difficulties. If I wanted a different ring or a refund that would be absolutely fine. This kept happening up to Christmas, then into the new year, and then a final email came saying that the rings had shipped to the UK and would be sent to me within a week. It arrived last Wednesday. I’d set my Curve account up some months before; last September in fact.

There were other setup bits and pieces to do, including installing the Manage-Mii app. The process is simple: add your wearable in the Manage-Mii app by holding the ring near your phone. Ping. Add your Curve card details to the app. Add your Curve card to your phone wallet. That’s it… except I couldn’t make it work at the shop terminals. It turns out there is a way of presenting the ring to the terminals that I hadn’t quite mastered. There’s even a video to show you how to do it. After an email exchange with a very patient and courteous Vincent I’m away.

The ring is excellent and stylish, and works perfectly. Payments are simple. The customer service is faultless. I can happily recommend Astari. My wife made a great choice.

The best Customer Support when it's really needed .

Highly recommended.

Highly recommended.

Initially bought two rings and have been happy with the purchase, as it removes the hassle of taking out your phone when paying especially when your hands are full (not to mention the curious looks you get as others who have it have mentioned here).

However, had to return something when I re-purchased, as intended as a gift for someone in the US. The support given from start to finish for the returns process was brilliant (shoutout to Vincent). I would gladly use their services again in the future. Many thanks

Very straightforward order

Very straightforward order, ring sizer received quickly and once size confirmed, actual ring also received quickly. Set up a bit fiddly, but once done, all great! Enjoying surprising shop staff: one yesterday exclaimed “Is it in your ring? That’s so cool!”

Absolutely love my Astari payment ring - the looks I get are priceless! 😁

I absolutely love my Astari payment ring. It took a while to arrive as it was shipped from America, and the technical setup took a minute to figure out, but once it was done it worked flawlessly. My favourite part is the confusion and amazed looks I get from cashes and people in the queue when I tap my hand to pay. It's brilliant, convenient, and I highly recommend it!
