They ship quickly so that was a plus. I ordered a XL balconette bikini top and there was definitely no support for my 32DD frame. They have a terrible restocking fee and you have to pay for return shi... See more

First off, my suit is gorgeous and very well made! I had an issue with my top sizing and Emma in customer service went above and beyond to assist me with an exchange. Thanks to her I’ll be wearing it all summer - 5 stars and more. Thank you all!

“Only gave it a 1 star to be able to write a comment”
Just a heads-up to anyone considering purchasing from Ark Swimwear.
The customer service is rude and dismissive, and the whole returns process feels deliberately difficult. If you want to exchange an item, you’ll have to pay out of your own pocket to send it back which is pretty disappointing given the price point of their products.
If you’re hoping for a refund, don’t bother. Even if you return the item in perfect condition, they’ll look for any excuse to deny it and will only offer you a store credit not a refund to your original payment method. And if, like me, you’ve lost trust in the brand, store credit is completely useless.
What’s also telling is that their website doesn’t even have a review section which says a lot. There’s no real transparency, and clearly, they’re not open to honest customer feedback being seen.
I won’t be purchasing from them again, and I strongly recommend others think twice before doing so.

The customer service for this brand are very helpful. I was having some issues finding the correct size and they helped me with finding the correct size for me personally it definitely makes all the difference having someone available to help.

The bathing suit bottoms don’t cover the pubic area whatsoever. I’m 5’2” and 110lbs. If a size 0 feels like there is not enough fabric in the size sm there is an issue.
Julia from the brand sent multiple emails to update when the package was on its way, but has not responded to any message to offer any accommodation for the fact that their pattern cut and sizing is severely flawed. That paired with their predatory return policy leads to a terrible customer experience.
They charge you back 10$ shipping PER PIECE, plus a 20% return fee, and you pay your own shipping back. Leading to getting Maybe $50 back on a $90 bathing suit top, etc.
Save your money and DON’T order from Ark Swimwear!!!

This is by far the worst return policy I’ve ever encountered. Not only are you required to pay for international return shipping yourself, but the company also deducts 20% of your order total PLUS a $10 fee just to issue a refund. This is incredibly unfair and feels like they’re penalizing customers for returning items.
I regularly shop from international brands, including those based in Australia, and I’ve never come across such unreasonable practices. I will never purchase from this store again and strongly advise others to stay away.

I just have to rave about the outstanding customer service I received from Emma at Ark Swimwear. After receiving my order, I had a question about a possible fault with one of the bikinis. Not only did Emma respond quickly and kindly, but she also went above and beyond—sending me comparison images, providing in-depth product info, and even recommending alternative sizes and styles based on my fit concerns.
What really stood out was how personal and thorough she was. She understood the urgency of my situation (I need the bikinis for a photoshoot in just two weeks!) and is personally keeping an eye on my return to ensure the exchange is rushed and seamless.
Emma’s support has made all the difference and truly reflects the quality and care behind Ark Swimwear. Can’t thank her enough!

Listen to all the other bad reviews. I was really excited about this swimwear but the sizing chart makes absolutely no sense compared to any other brand and you are forced to order many different sizes to figure out the correct sizing. “Free returns” is a lie as there is a huge restocking fee. The customer pays for their highly inaccurate sizing charts. I tried it on once and left all protective stickers on and they did not give me my money back for the multiple suits I had to return. Scam of a company with horrible customer service. Buy elsewhere.

I am based in US and had to return some items. They were responsive when I had issues and quick to help resolve my issues. They were very pleasant. The bathing suits are nice quality. I bought several, and I’m happy with my summer vacation wardrobe refresh.
My experience has been frustrating from start to finish. The sizing guidance on their website is completely inaccurate — I followed their fit guide carefully and even referenced their customer support recommendations, but the item I received was far too small and unwearable.
To make matters worse, the return and exchange process is unnecessarily difficult and feels intentionally designed to discourage customers from getting a resolution. The policy is rigid, there’s no flexibility for honest sizing issues, and communication from their support team was slow and unhelpful. For a premium brand, I expected a much smoother and fairer customer experience.
Sadly, I won’t be ordering from Ark Swimwear again — it’s not worth the hassle or the cost.
These suits are H&M quality at four times the price. While the shipping was quick, and each encounter with a customer service professional was professional, their business practices are seriously questionable. I completely understand the need for return policies, especially in the event that items are damaged and unable to be resold, however, I do not agree with returns used as a way to subsidise business costs. Their fee for returning their products is the highest I've encountered 20% + $10 + return shipping. When asked for clarity about what these costs are for as the item was repackaged and sent back in perfect, resalable condition I was told the fees are "in place to allow us to continue to offer our swimwear at a lower price point for higher quality, as well as provide free, expressing shipping." So if you buy a suit from them and it doesn't work out or you disagree with the quality you as the customer are effectively subsidising their business costs to keep their prices "low". Many businesses cover return shipping or use express post without charging additional fees just to repackage and restock items that are returned in perfect, resellable condition. This company is profiting from a product that has been returned to them in pristine condition and can clearly be resold, while I am left without the item I need and out of pocket almost $49 - a refund of $102 from the original cost (140) + 10.95 to ship from AusPost, simply for engaging with this business. Buyer beware.
I am a US based customer and I wish I read reviews before ordering! I followed the size chart and weigh a fit 135 lbs and ordered two medium bottoms. They are like xtra smalls! I have not clue how much it costs to ship back to AUS and they have a horrible restocking fee and if you choose credit, and buy something else, its going to get sent via snail mail which can take months. SCAM SCAM SCAMMMMY company that does not work with it's customers.
Incredible customer support! They were extremely quick to respond and were very helpful. I bought a swimsuit that was too small and started a return. When I went to ship the item back it cost double what the swimsuit cost. The representative I was emailing with was so helpful in finding solution that worked for me. I returned my suit and received my store credit within days! Highly recommend based on great quality swimsuit and excellent customer service!
Got the typical no-reply email on order confirmation but also got a second email from a customer experience address. Glad I did, I made a mistake in delivery address and it was immediately fixed by this person.
Order was shipped next day and delivered from AUS to USA in two days without expedited shipping! Incredible. Former wicked weasel customer but changing after this experience.
These reviews about minimal coverage and return policy confuse me. You're buying from a company that specializes in minimal/micro bikinis and complaining that they barely cover...um, isn't that the point? And you knew the return policy before you ordered. Dont like it then don't buy and complain later.
Keep up the great work ark!
Loved the products and customer support! Emma was super helpful in walking me through my return process and very prompt with responses.
Their bikinis are top quality and have beautiful colours, and the customer service is very helpful. Although they could really approve with offering free shipping for exchanges. It's a bit annoying you can only return with a store credit (which adds time to getting a new bikini) or losing a % of your purchase. I hope when the brand grows they will consider this service as it would greatly improve the customer experience. (Australia based)
I had a genuinely terrible experience with Ark Swimwear. I followed their team’s sizing advice exactly and ended up with two out of four items that don’t fit me well. The products didn’t stretch or conform as promised, and I was left with swimwear that is unwearable.
I wanted to love this brand, but the return policy does not work with their advice that the pieces stretch with wear when wet. It's clear they are just trying to avoid returns in the first place, but after wearing wet to stretch the items you are left with something you are unhappy with. I would not recommend buying from them.
When I raised the issue, I was met with dismissiveness and zero accountability. Despite their claims about product performance and support, they refused to offer any resolution or even acknowledge that the advice they gave led to the issue or offer me anything to compensate.
This is not just bad service—it borders on misleading conduct. I’ve since had to escalate through my credit card provider to seek a refund.
Emma is a Bot I think - she's the head of their customer service :(
Based in Europe - I order two tops €130 (carefully using the measurement tool) as they first scared me with their return policy of deduction of 20% + $10 when choosing for a refund. The tops barely covered my nipples - chose S (bra size 70A). To return your package you have to pay €52 shipping costs. So all in all you get €42 back if you return these nipple covers. They cover up themselves perfectly, but this isn’t a shopping experience for EU based customers
I bought 2 tops. One was too small and the 2nd did not have enough coverage. Emma and Julia were so helpful with the return and ordering the correct sizes and style.
I entered the wrong email address when ordering and contacted Support. They assisted and fixed the issue within the hour. Thanks Emma!
I also ordered from Ark last year and the service and the swimwear are incredible.
I wish I knew sooner the bathing suit is coming from Australia. For customers for United States it’s not convenient. Please don’t do it. I’m so sad and highly disappointed. I spent money for the bathing suit that they didn’t fit me, especially the top. They asked me to return it, I spent Crazy money on returning it, now I have to pay again for a new bathing sit. They take 20% restocking fees.
Btw shipping and restocking fee . It’s crazy money. Doesn’t make a sense I wish I knew sooner it’s coming from Australia and reads some reviews. Also, the quality to be honest-It’s very poorly made ,the material and strings and straps are so thin and soft that it will break after going to the ocean few times. Doesn’t seem like it will last me long I would never order from them again. And costumer service suck too
