Damaged Item / Poor Customer Service / No Recourse
I’ve bought from this store multiple times & even recommended to friends, so I really did not want to write a negative review of ART. On the other hand, ART’s customer service has not made things right and now has completely ghosted me, and so I have no choice.
I ordered a scarf from ART that was listed as being in “very good” condition. However when it arrived I was disappointed to see undisclosed damage, ie a hole and large areas of staining. I asked customer service to make an allowance for a dry cleaning service. But they refused that and then ghosted me despite four or five follow up emails. I’ve spent $$$$ on their site many times so I was really appalled to see how poor the descriptions of items was and then the shoddy treatment by customer service. Really makes me question if I should make any future purchases.

Strong smell
Hi, I finally received the products, and thank you for sending them safely. They look very good overall. However, they have a very very strong smell. Unfortunately, it seems like they may have been stored somewhere in a basement, and the odor is really intense.
Since receiving them yesterday, I’ve had to keep them on my balcony to air them out. I hope the smell will go away soon. I would recommend avoiding storing these kinds of products in a basement or in places where they can absorb strong odors, as it really affects the experience.
update- i left the bag on the balcony for 1 week now and it still smells. This is very frustrating as i cannot wear it. It ruins the whole experience and i am NOT happy with this.

Really poor communication after the…
Really poor communication after the delivery date was not met with + 2 days, and no response on my questions. Then I receive a message they the product was not good with some defects!? How could they not know that from the beginning?? Are they posting products they do not know the condition of?? I was honestly skeptical ordering from…
I was honestly skeptical ordering from Retro Tale because the price on the Saint Laurent crescent moon necklace was SO much lower than other resellers. It almost felt too good to be true. But I’m happy to say the necklace is 100% authentic and arrived super fast. Packaging was great and the piece is gorgeous in person.
Only downside was having to pay $67 in duties upon delivery thanks to the orange 🍊 guy 😒 — but even with that, the total was still a much better deal than anywhere else I found. Would definitely shop here again!
