Exploding paddle board

It exploded. Burst at the seams. Super dangerous. We had it in the shade blown up ready to go and it exploded. The noise was insane and it was so lucky we were round the corner. We spoke to aquaplanet and it was out of warranty (by one year). But in all honestly I believe it shouldn’t happen at any time. They were so unhelpful in trying to resolve it - almost like they have a standard speech for this scenario. So disappointed and would never recommend.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. I am sorry to hear that you have experienced a failure with your paddle board and that we were not able to provide a resolution to your liking.

We do provide a 1 year manufacturing warranty on our boards and it does sound like you are outside of this period. Over time, depending on how the board has been cleaned and stored, the materials can degrade, which is why we are not able to provide a lifetime warranty. There is a company called SUP Services that provides a repair service so I would recommend that you get in touch with them.

Excellent quality boards at great…

Excellent quality boards at great prices, I’ve purchased 2 Aquaplanet SUP boards. My son and myself have had loads of fun on them this summer, both in the sea and freshwater lakes. Loving our father and son time, thank you Aquaplanet

Fantastic customer service.

I was bought a paddle board for my 60th from my gorgeous son. Had quite a few paddles but discovered that one of the seams had a tiny air-leak. I got in touch with Aquaplanetsports and they were amazing. These things happen and they were incredibly supportive and have sent me out a new one, even though they haven't received the leaky one. Very good customer service and I'm looking forward to years of paddle boarding to come. Thanks Aquaplanetsports. Allison

Quality all the way

Aquaplanet has a unique ‘which board’ section on the website which means having input various info they will direct you to the right board for your needs/budget.
Loads to choose from, good quality boards with all the kit included. Great easy to use rucksack to carry all the kit. And very good customer service.
This is the 2nd board I’ve bought from them (one for me one for my husband) and I would highly recommend.

Replacement hose

Had issue with pump hose and repair kit on a new paddleboard. Hadn't noticed when first bought as I used a different pump but when I did come to use the included pump, the hose had a cracked. Contacted customer service with a photo of problem and they sent a new one straight away. (Even had the confirmation email before the actual reply! ) excellent service and excellent board.

Substandard tether

When I received my board initially I was very pleased with it however after using the board a maximum of 6 the tether cable detached from the plastic securing mount which is ultimately attached to the ankle strap. it is clear that the glue / fixing used is not suitable for the job and is substandard. The board is just over one year old and the response from Aquaplanet is that it does that to prevent injury to the user. I was simply stepping off the board onto the beach and if I had been out then the tether would be pointless and the board drifted off. Aquaplanet response is to say it isn't our problem and to offfer 10 % off a new tether from them. I'm not interested in buy further substandard equipment that will fail again and I am off to but a replacement on from a reputable supplier.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. I am sorry to hear that the ankle leash has broken. I can see that my colleague did explain that you are outside of the 1 year warranty period, but provided you a discount off a future purchase. As with any items, materials can deteriorate over time, regardless of the number of times used. There are many factors that can impact the leash, such as how it has been cleaned, stored and the pressure it has been under when in use. I appreciate the time it broke you stepped off the board, but it could be that this had been under more pressure on a previous trip. I am sorry that we were not able to resolve your query with a positive solution.

Great experience.

Great experience from looking at the very helpful and easy to navigate website, to the arrival of my order.
The website was very informative and helped this complete novice to choose the paddle board best suited to my needs. Delivery was speedy and I was kept up to date by regular emails. Well packaged, and high quality goods. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Aquaplanetsports.

Paddleboard seems great

Paddleboard seems great - and is beautiful, arrived very promptly with all the bits. So I can’t fault the product or service - I am annoyed though that since I ordered it I’ve discovered that it is £30 cheaper on Amazon! I thought I would be doing aquaplanet a favour by ordering directly through your own website but I feel quite annoyed by how much more I’ve paid by supporting you as a company rather than Amazon’s profits.

I love my new board

I love my new board. It arrived quickly. It feels and looks good. Decent quality. Would defo recommend to anyone looking. We are looking at ordering again to get one for my husband, had the board out a few times and it has been so much fun.

Leash attachment.

Brilliant service even after owning the Max for three years, it's definitely had it use but unfortunately I broke the leash attachment, but Sarah sent me a new patch and glue for free.
So a tenner in the local charity box! I'm back up and running or paddling again.
Thank you.🙂
