Simple and Effective Tool for Outreach

I like using Apollo.io. It was recommended to me on Reddit, and it has been a good addition to my outreach workflow.

One of the things I like most is the large database of leads available on the platform. It makes it much easier to find potential contacts and companies without spending hours searching manually. I also appreciate the amount of information Apollo provides during outreach, such as whether an email has been delivered, opened, or bounced. That kind of feedback is very helpful when running campaigns.

Another feature I value is the outreach automation. Being able to set up sequences and follow-ups reduces manual work, minimizes errors, and frees up time to focus on other tasks.

There are many features on the platform that I do not currently use, but even with just the tools I rely on, Apollo.io has been very useful for my needs. Overall, I have had a positive experience with it.

Poor customer service and mediocre product

The setup has been a nightmare and customer service is less than helpful. I have been in touch with 4 reps who give generic replies and there is no way to speak with anyone over the phone. I have used this tool in the past and can say that other tools are just as good without all the extra feature bloat.

Great product

Great database of contacts + other adjacent services like email cadence. UX is ok once you get used to it. Definitely recommend it.

Terrible service, scam company

The UX is truly terrible. But that's not the worst. What's even worse, is their service. They removed my credits before the day was over (and they were actually due). And then, when you try to reach their customer service, you don't get any further than a stupid chatbot that does nothing but upset you even more.

Bye Apollo, I will look

scam

This feels like a scam. They suspended a premium paying customer account without proper explanation. There is no real support, only generic templated responses. When we raise a ticket or try to escalate the issue, there is no proper resolution or human response. This is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable for a paid service.

Most negative reviews here are true

Most negative reviews here are true - I have also faced problem with them on credits and they cheat you to the core - no proper support team - no one in their team knows answer for the questions related to their own product or dashboard.

companies like this are not tech companies - just some scamsters disguised in the same as Tech.

Hi Helan, so sorry the experience has been frustrating. Credits and billing should be straightforward, and it’s on us if you weren’t able to get clear answers quickly. If you message us your workspace details (or email tied to the account) and the specific credit issue you hit, we’ll escalate to our support team to review.

Reliable but still finding itself

I like Apollo, I really do. Database and enrichment are fully relevant, keeping pace with other well-known competitors (you still find almost all leads and at least one contact reference at Apollo), and it's managing to stay relevant with new, more GTM tools (and a bunch of AI wannabes).

My major frustration is that there is too much effort put into making Apollo also sort of a CRM with functionalities no one is asking for, and it is still not great at integrations.

Awful experience

Awful experience, they say unlimited leads and in terms&conditions you see that it's very limited. avoid.

Hey Joe, thanks for the feedback, and sorry for the confusion. Some plans describe specific feature access as “unlimited,” but there can be usage limits tied to others (like credits) that are detailed in each plan's terms. If you send us your plan + what you were trying to do, we’ll clarify the limits and help resolve the issue you're experiencing.

Great Platform and helped me in my outbound lead generation and marketing + automated workflows for outreach and follow-ups.

The only downside is the pricing for many Africans - which is a bit in the high side for many Nigerians & Africans that earn less than $150 per month to afford a $59/month tool.
