Beware the subscription trap!!!
I wanted the bike which is good, I had to subscribe to the Apex rides app for 12 months, which were average and largely unused. The subscription trap is what gets you - no notification of payments, no cancelation on-line, only pause, conflicting information about how to cancel which is hard to find. I cancelled the app, ended the iOS subscription but the money kept flowing out of my bank. Beware!

I have had a terrible experience with apex rides !
They refuse to cancel my subscription in spite of 3 emails requesting cancellation and continue to take my money illegally!
Apex is.... OK
Bikes....ok, apps....ok, but I paid for live classes which there are none so pricey for just having pre recorded classes.
New great classes every week
New great classes every week, fun and motivating. Great customer support when needed. I have been doing their classes fir over 5 years and never bored.
Uncancellable Subscription
Got them to confirm that my subscription had been cancelled but then seems to be a common theme that they continue to take your money after supposedly confirming that they have cancelled. Awful service and pathetic to have to resort to disputing charges with the bank.
Great service all around
Great service all around.
Loving the fact I can use Zwift and my wife can use Apex.
Wish I'd never bought a Peloton and now i need to get rid of it.
Poor Quality Bike, terrible customer service
Bought the bike, broke on numerous occasions in the first year. Continued taking the monthly subscription when the bike was unusable despite telling me it was suspended. The last time it broke the engineer was sent the wrong part on 3 separate occasions. The bike was out of action for months, it took 6 months and an email chain of 83 emails to get a refund. Anyone else having issues with this company I suggest telling them you're making a formal complaint otherwise it goes nowhere. Finally got a refund but refused to pick it up despite acknowledging they'd sold me faulty goods. Go for a more trusted brand is my advice.
Awful company
Awful company. Don’t subscribe. Even after emails and online chats to cancel my subscription they continue to take £29.99 from my account.
Apex rides, can’t fault them.
Apex rides are great. The classes are varied and I’m yet to find an instructor I didn’t like. My favourite would be Emily. A tough class but worth it. None of the instructors are insincere or annoyingly over enthusiastic, like another company I’m reluctant to mention. Rhymes with heloton. The bike itself is quality. Very sturdy. Dead easy to set up. Honestly, can’t fault them.

Original owner from Covid times and very satisfied with the bike and app
Ongoing health issues mean I can successfully pause membership
Know peloton owners who pay more for bike and app and have had to replace a bike already

Update on Apex
Apex have no customer support team, and ignore messages that are sent with regard to maintenance and subscriptions. You'll find it very hard to cancel your membership once signed up. Just think very carefully before signing up to this company as I have a feeling that internal operations might be struggling/failing/being closed down as no one seems to work there. There's not even a telephone number to speak to someone and their online chatbot is just AI and doesn't even bother to respond either.
Ignored my cancellation request and…
Ignored my cancellation request and continued to charge me for the subscription. Have never dealt with a company who make it so hard to unsubscribe.
The customer service for this Company…
The customer service for this Company is appalling. I purchased my bike with a 12 month warranty and after it went faulty in May, they still have failed to fix it, 3 months on. Lucie in their customer service team is entirely unhelpful and refuses to progress matters. I would avoid this company.
Bike has stopped working and it’s been 2 months and still no sign of it being fixed
Bike has stopped showing RPM’s. Paid £100 for an engineer 2 months ago and had no update, no parts sent and no engineer to be seen. Had the bike for less than 18 months and it’s already stopped working and the customer service to get it fixed it awful. They’ve clearly stopped making them because there are issues with it but that’s no good for the people who dropped £700 on this not even that long ago. It has completely disrupted my fitness journey and goals, and it’s not like I can afford to just go and buy another bike.
The bike has broken after 18 months and…
The bike has broken after 18 months and got quoted £110 for a fix and that it would be done in 2 months. 2 months later down the line, they haven't even ordered the parts, absolute terrible support. It's a real shame because the classes are good, just the support is terrible. It's a sign when a company doesn't have a phoneline to contact
Fab range of upbeat classes - ALWAYS worth the effort!
I've had my Apex bike for nearly a year now. The saddle could be more comfortable, but otherwise really happy. The classes are great. Wide choice of instructors, class type, length and intensity, music genre - I reckon something for everyone. Don't use it as often as I mean to but when I do, it is ALWAYS worth the effort. Excellent customer service - helpful and quick to respond.
Love the Apex workouts
Love the Apex workouts, a wide variety of music and instructors to suit everyone. Having a new class to do everyday is great to! Highly recommend!
Great alternative to Peloton
Really good looking and solid bike. I did have a few snagging issues which took a little while to resolve but engineers sent out and helped fix. Good range of classes and reasonable soundtracks noting music can be very subjective. Really pleased overall. App can be a little temperamental.
Love it! And still loving it after a long time !!
I have had my Apex bike for two years. It's honestly the best investment Ive ever made in myself. I love the classes, I can choose how long I spend on the bike depending on how much time I have, it's super convenient and I kinda weirdly feel like I know the instructors now, I know their focuses and what I will get out of each class. Genuinely couldn't have better things to say about Apex, it is fab !
