Jacques In Southampton and her amazing team took fantastic care of my 5 cats, they made sure they were so well looked after whilst l was on my family holiday. I got photos, texts and daily updates. This was so reassuring and l can’t speak highly enough about their service. It’s 5 stars. I will definitely be booking again next time l go away again :)

Just wanted to thank Charlotte for her friendly, professional and compassionate service in respect of our pet cat who sadly passed away so suddenly. The service was prompt, efficient, with costs and options clearly explained. I would not hesitate to highly recommend the service operated by Charlotte. My pets ashes were returned on the same day as he was collected, lovely memorable box, with his ashes, piece of his fur and a memory paw print. Charlotte made a very sad situation much more tolerable, so thank you Charlotte.

On a very sad day for our family( the loss of our beloved dog Betty) we called upon animals at home to collect her and take her for cremation. The service and compassion we recieved was second to none. Thankyou so much for taking such good care of our girl and bringing her back home to us.

Had my Hamster picked up for cremation today by Jacques at A@H down in Southampton and the whole experience was exceptional from head to toe. Despite being WRONGLY warned off this company by an evidently jealous competitor. The experience I received, which began at 9pm on a Friday night, was top tier all throughout. I cannot thank Jacques enough for her hard work, compassion, and commitment to the business. I hope she can be duely rewarded. Credit to your company!

I have telephoned and messaged four times over the past few years enquiring about pet transport. I have left numerous messages but they have never contacted or acknowledged my communications.

Clearly an unreliable and unprofessional business.

UPDATED 13.12.23: The owners of Animals At Home contacted me about my review and experience and investigated the issue at hand. They have now implemented further training and education because of this.

My cat passed away at the weekend and I wanted to use this company for cremation and memorial. However, they’re extortionately priced compared to other businesses (nearly double). This wouldn’t have been a big of an issue if the way I was spoken to made me feel like they wanted to help me, rather than take my money. I was only given a response when I wanted a price, having sent multiple emails over the course of the week previous. When my cat did pass away, I emailed them again and got an instant response - only to be told there was nearly £100 more in charges due to it being the weekend, even though it’s advertised as 24/7. Clearly this company and its franchises only care about one thing - money. Would avoid where possible.

I had a bad experience with this company. I bought a carrier from this firm. First time I used it at our vets, the handle part broke, and and it fell to the floor with our cat inside. I did not have a receipt, and they refused a refund even though it shows on our bank statement. Make sure you are aware of their policys before you buy. Any returns you will have to pay for.

I live alone & sadly lost My Jack Russell called Dec.Found myself desperate & alone , unsure of what to do.But after calling Jon , it was so Lovely to find the Care & help I needed that day.Then the aftercare , including Jon’s wife was just totally EXCEPTIONAL .

Cannot thank animals at home enough after my beloved dog passed away late at night at home. Jon came out to us past midnight and treated our dog with the utmost repsect and brought his ashes home to us a couple of days later. Incredible service that made a heartbreaking situation that bit easier for us, thank you

My mother and I recently had Damian from Animals at Home, Croydon, London visit my mother's home, to transport our gravely ill dog Sky to the vet.
(Unfortunately Sky was too sick and aged to be saved.)
Damian was absolutely lovely, helpful and
so considerate and caring of our poor old pooch Sky. He was very professional, making a very sad occasion less sad, especially for my elderly mother.
I would just to express my gratitude to Damian. I would recommend his service to anyone needing a genuinely caring approach to their pet's welfare.

We used Animals at Home Isle of Wight to pet sit our two labX boys while we attended one day of the IOW Music Festival, and they were fabulous. Donna and Andrew responded to our sitting enquiry within moments of sending an email--and that was on a Saturday morning. Boys were to stay at a holiday let which is unfamiliar to them and they are fairly mellow and behaved inside the house, but they do like to return-bark any 'woofs' they hear in the area, so we wanted to have a sitter for the unspecified amount of time we would be at the festival into the evening, for peace of mind that they were not disturbing the whole quiet neighbourhood. Donna came by our holiday let the day before the festival to meet the boys and they got along fabulously—she is an absolute dog lover/carer. She ensured that all paperwork & agreements were in order for petsitting. She arrived on time on festival day, sent us a pup-date email during the evening, and stayed late when we were slow to escape from the festival grounds at midnight. We would use Donna and Andrew again when we have a chance on IOW and would look into other Animals at Home-vetted sitters when we travel to other parts of the UK. Well done and a lovely caring sitter in Donna!

I am very sad to write this and have given it great thought, but I think awareness must be raised, my dog stayed for 4 days boarding at the beginning of august, when I picked her up I was told all was fine. on getting her home, I took her harness off to find her skin sweaty, inflamed, fur missing, red raw skin that had bled a little as well. I was told her harness was left on all day for one of the days, with no reason as to why. I believe this must of been left on longer, due to the damage that was done on her skin and the loss of fur. They were very apologetic and advised that they did not see it. I personally found this hard to believe, I was given a refund for two of the days. however the damage had already been done and I no longer felt comfortable taking my dog there. I sent them pictures of my dog and asked that if they are leaving a harnesses on then they need to be aware of the damage that can do over long periods of time. I hope that this was taken on board so it does not happen to any other dogs.

Wonderful experience having my VERY nervous dog transported for a vet checkup. My dog has very bad anxiety, especially around new situations, but Liam (the driver in Torbay) was very patient with her, and in the end she was able to get safely and relatively calmly to her check up. I will definitely use their services in the future, in fact I already have her next transport (to a boarding kennel) booked!

Animals At Home North Warwickshire were simply amazing. We used them for a cremation for our beautiful little cat. Verity was sensitive, caring and looked after Molly so well. We would recommend them to anyone.

Not a service at all, been trying to contact these for transport to Raystede for a cremation, been trying all morning, no reply to emails, phone goes straight to answering machine, reall fed up with this.

Great service from Hayley in south hants bringing a puppy home to us. Excellent communication throughout and she is a very professional and dedicated person who went out of her way to reassure us . Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful, kind, compassionate are just a few words to sum up Jeff! Naturally we were worried about Halle & needed to get her to the vets as she was unable to walk but without drawing attention to that Jeff made sure we were calm & relaxed with his kind words & caring nature towards us & Halle! He was safe at all times using Covid safety precautions & ensuring Halle was looked after. I would highly recommend to anyone! Thank you Jeff!!

Amazing service and lovely people with this COVID 19 I am home alone with my dogs. My Greyhound Jacob died in my arms had either a stroke or heart attack they came out late and took my boy for cremation he is back where he belongs today.
Staff so compassionate and understanding mI cant thank them enough real hero,s front line workers for our pets .
