Beware and stay away from the agency

Beware and stay away from the agency. I brought all the below to their attention and received no explanation or apologies, and it’s been 2 weeks since I email.

Unacceptable quality of service and unethical behavior of the Voyage Belek Anex guide Mohammed Hamdi.

He refused to help saying he has “no power” when I asked to assist with insurance claim after my father had a seizure on the plane and the hospital reported it might be a stroke but the insurance refused to cover a CT scan.

We were left on our own with a family member who was partially disabled for the whole duration of the trip.

Knowing that, I asked Mohammed not to sell us any services. But he suggested what would be helpful is a CIP fast track.

Mohammed said that with that service my parents will only need to leave 3 hours in advance instead of 4, like the regular transfer.

He said that they’ll be accompanied by a guide that will be aware of their situation, that their arrrival stamps were missing because of the ER visit.

In fact, Mohammed said that he’ll personally let Rashid, the guide know about their situation and help my parents with bags at reception.

Mohammed, knowing the difficult health situation, he sold us “CIP fast track” service at the airport at $120 per person, while Antalya airport has the same service at $100. I was hoping with that up charge we were getting a service, but it was a lie, once again.

Mohammed said that he’ll share fast track info by 6p the day before departure.

We havent heard from him and instead received the general transfer information from the hotel.

When I spoke with Mohammed on the phone, he said, oh, that’s right, they’ll leave 4 hours in advance. But that was NOT the service he sold us, as the main appeal was a shorter time on the road.

My 74yo father who was diagnosed with epilepsy on the airplane to Turkey on Aug 3, and was still partially disabled on the day of departure today and my elderly mom were picked up 4 hours before their flight, and went to the airport on the regular tourist bus.

The guide, Ruslan, was NOT aware of their situation.

Nobody helped them to carry their luggage to the reception or the transfer bus.

This is simply unacceptable and outrageous. No one at the agency was held responsible for the guide scamming and taking advantage of the elderly and sick clients.

We bought a trip with Ana Maria in…

We bought a trip with Ana Maria in Turkey and it was horrible she lied regarding the food and drink. She also said we were gonna have fish we didn't have fish. We had to buy all the drinks in the trip. We finished the trip at 1 in the night because we spent a lot of time in a commercial centre she never said nothing regarding that. We were supposed to go to antique city which we did but it was 9 o clock in the night when we did and it was done in a rush. She was also greedy, after we payed for the trip she was asking for more money so that she could buy herself a coffee, like a tips. "Leave something for the girl" she said.

These people must stop working

These people must stop working. They are liers. We were trapped by Anex tour agent Timur Osmanov, he sold to me and my friends professional fishing for 1210$ but we received boring boat trip.

Avoid!

We arrived in Side with my family, and the next morning we had a meeting scheduled with our Anex representative, Ana Maria. She arrived late, behaved very arrogantly, and kept trying to sell us various excursions at double the price compared to elsewhere. When we refused, she started laughing, saying that if we buy excursions elsewhere, we will be cheated, left in the mountains, and so on. (I bought all the excursions through Viator and was very satisfied—no one cheated us and we saved a lot of money!). Ana Maria offered free transportation to the city, but that transport started taking us to fur, jewelry, and textile shops. When I didn't want to continue this nonsensical trip, she called me and mocked me, laughed, and said that it was my problem how to get back, my issues. On the last day, she said that there would be information about the transfer to the airport at 8 p.m. at the reception, but in reality, I had to leave at 7:25 p.m., and she didn’t inform us even though she said she would. I definitely do not recommend this agency, and especially that scamer Ana Maria.

All Inclusive Holiday in Crete

We spent a marvellous all Inclusive Holiday in Crete. The location was top and our friendly guide, Mr. Axel Steinmüller, was really kind and attentive and provided us with the necessary support and proposals without being too pushy. Try absolutely the Land Rover Tour to the south of Crete!

For us as a family was a really interesting experience. We will for sure come back again to discover other parts of the island.

Complaints are not even dealt with

Complaints are not even dealt with. They fly with Mavi Göck Ramp airline. You can pray in advance that you get from A to B because there are always problems with their planes. (see BILD.DE) Apart from that, I have been waiting for almost 10 weeks for a complaint to be filed. And the worst transfer from hotel to airport. You have to be there 2 hours in advance. We had to be picked up at 4:30 PM. Right on time. Be at the airport at 7:00 PM. What does the van driver do? Takes a mandatory half-hour break to eat. We were dropped off at the airport finally at 7:30 PM. That guy didn't speak German or English only some Russian. The only thing he had translated into German via Google translate was that he wanted a tip. We were also dropped off at the wrong point so we were forced to take a taxi so that we were dropped off at the right location. At 7:55 PM. We were the last to board. It was very hot in the plane. We only got a glass of water during the flight. PEOPLE DO NOT BOOK THROUGH ANNEXTOUR, cheap is expensive. In this case a lot of stress. To date, no response to the complaint that we sent.

canceled accommodation

They check the availability of the hotel, take the money from the customer, send him a voucher and the customer goes abroad. Within less than 2 days, they will cancel the paid voucher without compensation and leave him without a refund and without the possibility of accommodation for the next 3 days. They are not interested in complaints. After three-quarters of a year, they laugh at the customer for €15. Better to avoid this travel agency.

Strongly dissapointed

Strongly dissapointed, they are just liars. Their only concern-how to take the money from a client. They can promise you anything, but what you’ll get-it’s different story. The rest? They just don’t care. I do not recommend this company, you can complain you can explain-it doesn’t matter to them. You are not a person in their eyes, just a dollar.

We have spent our spring holidays in Crete with Anex. The transfer to and from our hotel was flawless and perfect in time. The hotel and especially the lovely staff there was awesome and the very polite and friendly guide helped us with the rental car and gave us supreme Information about the Island and locations to visit. Overall splendid😁

Anex Tour refund problems

After urgency they refunded whole cost. Stars changed from 1 to 3.

Anex tour is one big scam travel agency. We booked a tour, canceled it on the same day and still haven't received the money. It's been almost a year. Support replied that they were forwarding it to a certain department, but no response since then. We have been ripped off and Invia should be ashamed of themselves for delivering tours through such a dubious company.

Trip

we had a trip booked through an annex employee who gave us wrong information. after reviewing our complaint, they wrote to us from the annex that we should solve the problems with the agency through which we went on the trip, that they do not take responsibility. We were deceived by their person who gave us wrong information, because of which we had to pay extra for the trip! How can they say that they are not responsible. the change did not occur in the implementation of the trip, but in the information he gave us.

Wthell?!?

Wthell?!?! I wanted to book a trip with my friend to Turkey and I “paid” for it on Check24! Then I couldn’t find my booking nor the reservation number so I thought okay it didn’t went through so I didn’t care about it anymore but after 7 months they send me Mahnung for over 500€ that I have to pay but I’m like.. for fuckn what?!?! I didn’t go anywhere cause their system is fcked up!!!! Not normal!!!!!

I do not recommend Anex tour

My husband and I booked our holidays in Turkey with Anex tour. They offered us during the first day small daily trips.
The main problems were:
1) the prices were overrated compared with other local agencies. However we hadn't that information when we agreed for the trip, and they wanted the payment fast, in the same day.
2) after 2 days I canceled that trip because I wasn't feeling well because of the pregnancy.
I asked for a refund but they gave nothing. Firstly their argument to deny the payment was late notification, and secondly they ask for document to prove my sickness. I think that this agency wants just to steal money from the tourist.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND Anex Tour

I DO NOT RECOMMEND Anex Tour. In April 2023 we had a trip from Prague to Turkey through them and we got a delegate named Caglar K.

He robbed us of our money, then ignored calls and messages.

We tried to resolve the situation directly through the agency, where repeatedly no one answered the phone and no one responded to emails either.

We contacted Invia to help us ( they brokered a tour with Anex) and unfortunately nothing has been resolved yet.

Anex Tour and their delegate Caglar K. robbed us of 150€ for a trip that, through his fault, did not take place and there was no refund. It ruined the last 3 days of our trip and we still came home poorer.

Excursion disaster with Anex tour Sharm el Sheikh

I am writing this review while in being here Sharm el Sheikh to warn other tourists against buying excursions from Anex tour.
We bought an excursion from Anex tour for 340 dollars per person, the programme included: flight to Luxor, visiting the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, the temple of Hatshepsut, Karnak and Luxor temples, lunch, Russian-speaking Egyptologist!!!!. All this was promised to us by a guide from Anex tour company called Mizu. We have warned Mizu that we are aware of overestimated cost of excursion (within guides who just walk around the hotel this tour costs 215-225 dollars per person), but we expect qualitative service on history of Ancient Egypt.
On arrival at Luxor early in the morning we were met by our guide Dua, who began her story about the city itself. Her language skills left a lot to be desired, but that was not the main problem. The problem was that she rarely threw uninformative phrases about the cost of education in kindergarten, school, Luxor University, about the harvest of wheat, mangoes, papyrus and nothing of the great history of Ancient Egypt.
It even got to the absurd: when we asked about the statue of an armed man in front of the Luxor hospital, she said: "Just some man!".
At the first point of the tour, she recited a memorised text for 15 minutes, sent us to take pictures and sat in the shade.
She did the same at the second point.
So instead of allotted 1,5 - 2 hours on each point of the excursion, we finished in 30 min.
For lunch we arrived at 11 am!!! as we quickly galloped through the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, Hatshepsut's tomb and even to the souvenir shop at her insistence.
Then after lunch (it was closer to 12:00) she started persuading us to deviate from the planned itinerary, to buy a trip to the island of monkeys and a boat trip from her, because it is hot for her to lead the excursion now.
We refused the monkey island, she reluctantly took us to Karnak and Luxor temples, again 15 minutes of quick memorised text, again sending us off to take photos on our own.
Thus, we arrived at Luxor airport at 16:30 when other tourists who had taken similar excursions were arriving by 19:00. Our guide Dua proved herself to be unprofessional, lazy, greedy and most importantly, leaving an extremely negative impression of the country.
In addition, being in the same Karnak or Luxor museum, seeing how the guides of other groups work, strengthened the impression of complete deception on her part.

Conclusions include:
1. Do not take excursions from Anex tour as the price is inflated by at least 40% (this is after persistent haggling);
2. The ratio of price to quality of the tour does not correspond at all, as they take just locals who know Russian and are so lazy that they can't even read Wikipedia on the eve of the tour;
3. not to come to Egypt anymore, as the overall service is only getting worse, and rogue guides leave an extremely negative impression.

If this review will be read by Egyptian tourism representatives, please licence the activities of the guides. These unprofessionals are a disgrace to your history and your heritage and are creating a reputation of constant trickery and deceit amongst numerous peoples! We as tourists go back home and recount all our failures in Egypt.

Egoistic Drivers and Travel Agents who dont speak english

We stayed in Thailand, Moracea Hotel, when the Anex Tour Bus arrived they completely blocked all incoming traffic to the hotel and didnt care about shiet. We waited for our taxi and seen it but it couldnt get in. Travel agent stormed past us, they took all the their time unloading luggage mind you, the bus driver could have driven into the hotel parking spot. When we talked to him he ignored us.

Customer service is a big zero

Customer service is a big zero! I called the customer service in Düsseldorf. First, they kept me waiting forever till someone answered the call. Then, the woman (with very poor German) had absolutely no idea how to handle my request. She put me several times on hold, finally said, she would call me back as she need to speak to her colleague. When she called me back, she had a solution, all was good and settled. 10 minutes later, she called me back again and informed that what she said was not possible any more, our request would cost now more than 300 euros extra. Ridiculous!
