First representative did not explain the loan, as it was funded, spending 3 days and multiple hours in the phone- marginally condescending - transferring documents and was told I would be funded in 10 days. After about 14 days I started calling with no response multiple times to find out I had been ghosted.
A new rep Johanthan Stewart called and to inform me the first rep was no longer around and he would be taking over - provided a reduced closing cost and said he put his most responsive team on it. He was very helpful- his team was difficult to reach. When working with them they were helpful- but don’t leave messages- you will not get a call back- if you do- it won’t be related to the message. My first closing I sent the Notary home- we did not get past the first page. Had questions- tried calling and left messages all day - did not get calls back until after the notary was gone- the notary had tried to get answers but the offices were closed.
I received follow up calls the next day and had to explain the whole transaction from the beginning- including the initial contact- and was told that is the only was the loan worked 🤷🏻‍♀️ I was already 2 months into the process and 500 for application fees.

I moved forward and signed. After signing I had questions about transfer of funds - send an email- no response. Was supposed to get pay off checks. Those finally arrived one day ago. Over a week after signing.

This company came highly recommended. I thought I asked all the questions- over and over.
I have def had better experiences.

Cassandra and Ray were suberp at thier jobs. They held our hand the whole way. They helped to over come obstacles on our part. Thier communication and follow thru was impeccable. Thank you so much.

Both were quick to respond to emails and were consistently available to answer my questions—even while on vacation and over the weekend.
When an issue arose with the title company involving a missing document, TJ remained actively engaged on both Saturday and Sunday to ensure my Monday closing stayed on track. The process was a little on the slow side. Started the second week of January and closed in the middle of April. Other than that I am very satisfied. Kristin Whitney did a very good job.

Overall excellent. Found that certain documentation requests became a bit frustrating, but the people were terrific and the goal/results were achieved

I still don't have my checks to pay off my debts which means I have yo make another payment while waiting for someone to return my calls or emails

Online process for gathering documentation was laborious and redundant at times but the phone back up support was good and, in the end, you generated a decent mortgage.

The Title Company held up the loan processing for nearly 3 months. Why! Because they went back 20 years to make sure mortgage was clear. Amerisave called me finally with what actions needed to be done. The title company knew what they wanted to verify months ago. The title company should have talked to Amerisave to clear up this issue. I, the client found out eventually what they wanted and I myself called to get information on lease sent from Fifth Third Bank. It took one phone call to verify information from me ( the client). Information was called back to Amerisave. Amerisave gave instruction to Title company that they had to call Fifth Third Bank within 25 hours (next day) to get release of information. I ( the client) gave specific instructions and verbal consent to speak to Fifth Third Bank. This had to be done in 24 hours per bank. I heard from Amerisave that this was completed by Title Company. However, it took days for them to accept and finally notified Amerisave to continue with payout to client setting up refinance. This process should not have taken months to complete. The Title 2020 Company was at fault. The title company wanted the lien release from 20 years ago. It would take 45-60 days to get the lien release from my county. Then all of a sudden I hear from Amerisave that the title company has accepted and Amerisave could move forward. I never gave the title company the lien they said they want from 20 years ago. I would have to go to my county records. They, (Title 2020) within days notified Amerisave giving approval to move forward. Why did this process take months to complete. Especially when the title company never received the lien, that I’m aware off.
